we had a good time yesterday
post goth, industrial, witch house and the like
also rec me some new-ish dark synthpop
They are actually not darkshit at all, but I cannot stop recommending them and this is the last bastion of synth pop not filled with Waifupop (Chvrches)
Basically just catchy gay Japanese synth pop
Some things might appeal to you guys too though.
Also don't click anything Goatbed on Youtube that has "Dramatical Murder" or "dmmd" in the name, unless you're into that kind of shit
And Full's shit might count too:
>Also don't click anything Goatbed on Youtube that has "Dramatical Murder" or "dmmd" in the name, unless you're into that kind of shit
DMMD isn't that bad as far as yaoi series go, though the only yaoi shows I ever really got into were Loveless and Gravitation.
That's true, but most people turn their noses once they find the dicks. I don't want that to happen.
Also, Dmmd is the worst Goatbed has ever done, after Hellblau.
that song is from 2011 or so, thats pretty new

New to these genres. How do I into dark?
>How do I into dark
Fix yourself up with some entry-level dark like Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Siouxsie, Skinny Puppy, KMFDM, NIN, VNV Nation, etc.
I also recommend AAIMON, 3Teeth, Seeming, Youth Code and Cold Cave if you want to get into newer stuff as well as the classic essentials
Some post-punk (like a few Echo and the Bunnymen songs and a grand total of one Shriekback album) IS /darkshit/ though. Not to mention Siouxsie, Joy Division and The Cure, which all more or less fall into both categories.
Do /darkshits/ like Gothabilly?
Dave Vanian and the Phantom Chords - This House is Haunted
Zombie Ghost Train - Night Time Crawling
Miguel and the Living Dead - Ghostmaniac
Wonder if anything well produced will come out of the witch house/hop scene? It's full of amazing ideas but no one has really broken through.
BLVCK CEILING (yeah it's a dragged remix, but whatevs)
>WHITE RING (very recent, they've upped their game relatively speaking)
>BRUXA (I just like this track really)
>SALEM (Most of their beats are too simple, but they can do a decent spin on some tracks, examples:)
>AND just for fun, a witch spin on Die Antwoord because why the fuck not?
If anyone could point me to better produced music using the same ideas? I love the synths but too often they're poorly executed.
fuck if I know. this is the only one I know of, and I'm not even sure its hers, some anon told me it was but, ya know "The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood.
Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact."
its a trap m8
i bet shes a cute trap tho
I've been hanging around for a while, sometimes contributing to the spam. Then it suddenly stopped and /mu/ was literally made up of two things: Hip Hop and last.fm threads. Pretty grateful we've got our darkshit hangout back
yeah I, for one, celebrate the rise of the generals. /metal/ and /noise/ are both fairly good, as is /darkshit/, clearly.
general question, what genre is †††, someone told me that they wern't witch house and other people told me they were. I also don't know much witch house so can't tell myself.
I think the person who said they weren't witch house just had an anti-witch house stigma going on tbh and was like "it's GOOD so it CAN'T be such and such a genre that I don't like"
The Cruxshadows. They are pretty dance-oriented/techno-ish which a lot of people find to be a turn-off but the lyrics are full of interesting spiritual and mythological references.
yeah i like aaimon already
goddamn spiritual and mythological references do not necessarily make good lyrics. instrumentally they just sound like generic, darkish club music
Nice to see a topic I can get into. I've been listening to a lot of my friends projects lately...
Anyone into old EBM? Leaether Strip, Nitzer Ebb, ect?
