The other Bandcamp thread has died. Here is your next installment. Post your music, share, comment, download.
>>weird rock, avant garde, swamp music
>segahaze, vaporwave from hell
will be sitting in and commenting
ive commented on your shit a long time ago but i havent listened to it in a while. i like alot of these ideas alot, but its not my thing. your mixes are pretty good though.
very lovely. well mixed and produced. maybe, _maybe_ bring the vocals up a bit more next time? thats all i can think of. good job.
again, not my thing. bring that kick up in the mix or sidechain it with the bass. otherwise this is pretty good
>mainly BJM-inspired psych-rock, with bits of shoegaze and some folk-elements.
>all guitars bc no percussive talent and wanted to just record some stuff on my own
2 EPs, both pretty short. all done this summer.
That was quick then.
My album is free, Cd's are also available.
I'm working on a compilation for my label atm, after that I'm going to change shit up. Going to force myself to approach productions differently.
I thought these were originals up until I heard the track with the bosstones and I laughed
The loops aren't very clean on these, I don't mean liks skips but there's that split second cut where it's supposed to be a smooth loop
also, forgot to mention, "ennui vs cocaine" is a cover of a song written by my and a friend as part of our psych-rock duo, but we have no stuff recorded together, we mainly play live only.
>like FKA Twigs except good
> industrial hip-hop instrumentals, inspired by glitch, noise and old school industrial, heavily sample based, glitched and distorted
>electronic, experimental, ambient, bass music, chillwave, 808, sampling
>experimental, dark ambient, drone, ambient, improvisation, improvised music, minimal, noise, soundscap
>atmospheric/minimalist folk, psych folk
Thanks for the listens and the downloads errbody
not mine but a friend's
>>violent pop, heavily inspired by J-Pop and Weezer among other things, album all about growing up
>electronic post/math rock
>most ignorable artist on 4chan
Hey, I absolutely adore your music m8
>thinkin bout CD/tape release, looking into that.
I'm in the process of recording a new EP and this is one of the rough tracks I have so far. I'd really like some feedback on instrumentation and mixing, I don't have many people to give me critique. Also, I need help thinking of a genre to put it under because I'm kind of stuck on that.
My previous album
>Doom metal, Stoner Doom
>Space rock, Stoner rock
>eclectic DnB, ambient
check my work
Real nice even if i wouldn't label it doom. This by some aspects reminds me of Monster Magnet (the Powertrip album).
And I don't know why but I also thought about this song while listening to the second track
Cheers from a doom/sludge/stoner cultist
today is my day off. I'm BBQ'n corn and bratwurst.
>rock, psych, death jazz, noise
>bands I'm in/have been in
>so much fucking good you'll want jizz your pants.
beer is tasty.
Thanks! Checking out yours now, this is exactly the kind of ambient/drone that I really like, and I do not say that often, the kind that makes you think 'fuck, I'm alive now and one day I'll be dead forever'
Also 'Every Light In The House Was On When I Woke Up' is one of the best titles I have ever heard. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for that full release!
Thanks to you too bb
I found an old CD and Cassette of my Dad and Uncle's old band from the 90's and decided to post it on bandcamp causes I think it's pretty good. Check it out.
>Prog rock, shoegaze, shred guitar
>psych pop/ rock
>Tweens and Feline Feelings are good tracks to check out
WE RÖK!! \m/
>Stoner Rock, Basement Rock, Surf Rock, Experimental, Jam rock, Electronic
los amelies desde argentina! fijate!
>electronic, ambient, experimental, droney soundscapes, noisy
Alternating long and short songs. Emphasis on texture and immersion.
Just released a new album
cassettes possibly soon
Rock then industrial then noise.
Noisy and fucking awesome.
Love the atmosphere. Is it you or a friend doing vocals?
Some really cool ideas. Could use a little better sound quality though.
Love this. Great sound.
i post more on my soundcloud tho
Vol 1 is pop-rock and Vol 2 is post-music with black metal influence. We're releasing it as a 2CD box set in a few months via Satanica Records and a possible vinyl release through a Ukranian label.
The first is our new single, the second, our "lo-fi" album. The latter is basically a demo of some new material. Oh, and that third one. Yeah, don't look at that.
>Shoegaze, lo-fi, RnB, Soul, Folk, Guitar, Concept album, Story album
no but really Sweet Trip is the best shoegaze band since mbv
Just dropped an EP today
> Noise, IDM, Ambient
Enjoy it, any feedback is appreciated greatly.
>netlabel of the future
>send us your stuff, download our stuff
ay, compilations coming up REALLY soon
I dont really use bandcamp anymore, just because we never really gained any listeners from it. I uploaded this track for you guys to hear, just wanna know your opinions, i warn you, we recorded this just with around 4 mics, so it does not sound great and my voice sucks, its alternative rock i guess, let me know what you think. https://sludge9509.bandcamp.com/track/shoot-me-down-2
5 folk songs
better than most of the shit posted here. I like the garage rock sound.
the vocals are a bit weak production wise. You're no stevie wonder, but if flaming lips and minutemen can get a way with shitty vocals so can you. they could just be a bit punchier, a bit more gritty, a bit edgier, and so on. I feel like a nice Iggy Pop vocal sound would fit the production nicely. It just sounds like you're singing across the room from the mic. In fact, just copy the production on funhouse (the stooges album, in case you're unfamiliar) and it would sound great
ohh yeah funhouse is an awesome album, i like the production on the stooges albums, i guess a garage rock sound is not always a bad thing, but i agree i definatley need to work on my vocals
I thought it was actually pretty tight. These are good beats and I wanna hear some vox on top of them. I'm not crazy about them by themselves but these are an excellent component to something that just needs another ingredient.
I don't really like it. The sound is lo-fi in a really uncharming way. It doesn't feel like the lo-fi pieces are evenly lo-fi and the contrast between the lo-fi and the less lo-fi lacks any glittering grab-you quality.
>SEGA BASS FISHING
>Lo-Fi beats, Ala Madlib, Blu
>ambient >newage >vaporwave >japan
This has a very strong Sun Araw vibe. I dig it. I would have liked to have seen the coordination of the album center around the exposition a given concept as the album title suggests--"Consumer Mind"--but there are still some stand-out tracks.
I'm a little late again.
Thanks to all the anons who have ever given my music a chance.
>indie rock with jazz chords and weird time signatures every now and then
check out this cool painting I got my housemate to do for it
Thanks for giving it a listen! yeah, we are still figuring out the sort of direction we'd like to go in musically and conceptually. you've got a good ear though, we all really love sun araw/notnotfun
have you been around philly long? I'm also in a philly noise rock band and haven't seen yr band around. your record is a lot more on the rock side than the noise side, at least compared to a lot of shit that I hear.
we recorded the BONE BATS full-length using a 24 channel mackie live audio console and 7 shitty dynamic vocal mics, none of which cost more than $100, through an alesis a/d converter which went into reaper. we then mixed it at my university's studio and got a friend to master it. was a learning experience.
I got some new gear though for our following releases. look for studio closing sales on craigslist, I got this 1979 24 channel console and a bunch of early 80s compressors and EQs for $350 or so.
Just made my first cloud rap song, I'd love to hear what you guys think.
wow! Not tempted to post my beep boop anymore at all jesus that sound is nostalgic.
>electronic: dance, dubstep, electro, trap (the remix), glitch
One of my favourite albums of 2014

>dream pop, jangle rock, beach rock
i hope all the mindless hatred has died down <3 .
Ill be listening to some of the stuff posted in here and throwing some opinions.
Also, the vocal version of the album probably wont be out any time soon. im working on some other stuff that will be out before it, with vocals.
>retrowave, synthwave, retro electro, vgm
Basically Kavinsky and Alice Glass fucked, and this is how it sounded.
since this is my first full album on bandcamp any feedback would be appreciated.
i just said its not coming soon.
want me to read along with you kid?
well, the demo tapes vocals are being done by a mate.
im working on a 6 track thing that is me singing. its more acoustic stuff but itll have some dream popy ones on there too
