Yet another goddamn Soundcloud thread.
Will be listening to links when I get back from work. Let's get famous kek
>funky alt rock
>music that appeals to the worst in all of us
You're one of the most gifted "experimental" musicians on this board, hands down.
I return feedback
>instrumental hip hop
wicked tune there mate, nice and cleanly recorded!
heres one of my tunes, progressive rock
you guys sound like two door cinema club but a lil dirtier, i like. prefer the more rock-oriented sound to the pop tho.
we are a post-noise/emotive anti-melodic jam-rock band
>>dirty beats, twisted vocals
If you enjoy my music, make sure you download the free album from bandcamp
My newest track, I feel like it's one of my best so far.
I'm about to check out all of your links right now.
Well, I mean that! Sometimes, I'd even go so far as to say that I envy your body of work. :)
Can't wait for that new stuff you've been working on.
Wow, that was actually pretty cool. Wasn't digging it too much at first, but about midway the track really captured me--sucked me right in!
"666 (MPC Live Improvisation)"
>I make different music inspired by Cyberpunk & Japan.
just finished this,
be kind :^)
Non-finished songs galore, I'm too much of a lazy person to finish anything.
Again, thank you very much. I just noticed your new track by the way (well, it was uploaded 2 month ago, but I was super busy back then), and I left a comment.
I'm mixing and mastering as we speak. Hope you'll like it. I will be uploading (hopefully) this weekend.
>Drake remix - People who dont like Drake have told me they like my remix - Chopped vocals - Future Rhythms - Dark vibes
Mannn, Cloud Forest!!!! gahhhhhh just gahhh!
This is really tight, really liking the range of textures man
Singer/Songwriter, looking for feedback, thanks for listening.
Just uploaded something new, some feedback on that stuff would be neato.
>experimental, hip-hop, vaporwave-ish
The Lady's Lament has a good atmosphere, but the lute melody in the beginning sounds rather uninteresting
I sure do love Drake remixes, nice drum 'n bass-ish feel
Feedback on SoundCloud.
I'm back after a long vacation. Something new.
>world music, rock

Trap, Damnsoncore, Diablo ll
lil guitar instrumental whipped up by me in a couple hours thanks to some adderall, inspired partly by the books. happy sounding. don't know what else to say. listen to it.
I just uploaded a variety of new tracks after nearly a month off from recording and uploading. Been traveling a bit and hanging out and playin open mics and what not, but school starts again tomorrow and I'm gonna get back into the swing of things.
I hope you enjoy some of it and/or your life.
If you don't like the new stuff, check out my old stuff. I've got nearly a thousand tracks, and some of them are even pretty good.
Recording and mixing sounds good. I dig the vocals. The lead guitar lines over top of everything feel kind of sloppy at times, but the rhythm guitar and drums are right and tight.
I dig the sound, keep up the good work!
So dramatic and large, yet somehow tiny sounding because of the mixing / production. I feel like there should be a warchief present when listening to this.
I did not like Tabula Rasa at all. The whole genre of fuzzy noise strikes me wrong though, so its my bias that ruins it for me.
Keep doin what ya do.
Assuming this is supposed to be comedic, I appreciate it.
If a genuine attempt at trap beats and hardcore rap, it fails real bad hard. The delivery is just weak and phrasing is lazy. Dat sloppy white guy voice just doesnt work for me on rap unless the timing is impeccable.
Enjoy your imminent fame.
Somethin about this is so old school cheesy and then its also really nice. I dig the vocal at certain parts. The cheap synths and strings kind of spoil it for me though.
I dig it. Do you do all the instrumentation yourself?
Fun waltz stuff goin on there.
Did you write all of this out or was any of it improvised? How long ya been playin?
You're a talent! Followed and looking forward to hearing more.
Dope shit. Interesting rhythms. Keep it up
Could use better recording equipment and mixing / production, but I love the songwriting.
Tightening up that percussion stuff and projecting more would help
working on completing a tape fairly soon
>tech house mix
No anthems, just a bit dark, shit to study or dance too at an afterhours in montreal
>Kavinsky ripoff influenced by early Crystal Castles
How many soundcloud followers and facebook likes do I need to pick up Alice?
haha yea mike-o it's just for fun, i never spend more than like 45 mins on a rap, 2015 is year 2000 and T year of the trapmaster tho peace fam ima give yo shit a listen dogg
New song i made today. Havent been making music much lately. Still gotta start teaching myself to actually start playing instruments instead of using the only 4 chords i know haha
DAMMMN that track is really really good man. Excellent production, but by far my favorite part is DAT guitar, like holy shit. excellent. You have a really nice voice too. Great job!
Holy shit you're really talented, the first track reminds me of Swans' more heavy stuff. I can't really criticise this because I just don't know enough about it, but I did enjoy it.
Followed. Excellent job man, drum production is on fucking point and those strange sounds are very pleasing to the ear. Looking forward to hearing more from you!
Dude, I really liked this, the mixing was great, bass was heavy, this that real trap shit. Followed!
Listening to the Back to School album, and I must say, WOW, is that you playing the piano? Because it's damn good. Like really goddamn good key playing. Oh my, just heard Crowded Space, this is fucking amazing. Consider me a fan, holy shit. If you haven't, you should put this stuff on a Bandcamp and get it out there cause you're hella talented.
Aight, I just kinda skipped around the thread, now here's my shit.
>experimental hip hop
thanks for listening yo.
>Elektronik dans musik. Probably progressive house?
>acoustic/folk, shoegaze, post-rock, slowcore, experimental, ambient, electronic
>melodic, dubstep, trance
returning all feedback!
I like the song. Recording / mixing could use some tweaking, rhythm / strumming could be tighter, and vocals are pitchy at times, but that all just comes with drilling practice. Keep it up!
Also, I love that picture you posted. I've done a few jazzy takes on the song of storms, and It's a load of fun to play.
You can have a long career as world famous musician playing the same 4 chords, but good luck exploring beyond that!
Its me playing the piano, and thank you for being so kind! Crowded Space and the other tracks like that are all improvised and made with a loop pedal and a motif keyboard.
I'm glad you enjoyed the stuff!
I made a bandcamp once and just put a handful of my comedy songs on there, but I lost interest / will to do it. I might take a day off and load all the shit I have on soundcloud onto bandcamp for free, but I'm waiting for the motivation.
Also, I love your stuff! The groove on this track is so chill and smooth.
Do you samples or a software to do all the melody stuff, or is it keyboard? Its just so tight and error free!
How long does a track take you, typically? Or does it change from track to track?
acoustic/alternative sort of thing
Some vocal work-
will return all feedback
Returning all feedback and commenting on your cloudz
Here's a track from my new EP in the works.
or check out my older EP:
>Alternative R&B, Experimental, Chillwave, Lo-Fi, Ambient
feedback would be super dope!~~~
>post rappy abrasive 80
>generic mainstream trap
What a self advertisement :^)
UK drum n bass from all aspects
>always follow back
Yeah man you're a hella talented piano player!
also you shouldn't wait for motivation bro! Grab it by the balls! haha but thanks a lot man, I use a software for all my stuff, I rarely use samples, other than for texture or percussion.
Tracks used to take me like 8-10 hours for beats and such, but lately I've been spending way more time on each one, like weeks.
Here are two tracks from my new EP coming out in September
Any Type of feed back is accepted :)
i plan on adding drums and/or some kind of edited field recordings to these soonish/once i actually have the stuff to do it, good idea?
shit's kinda cheesy but sounds professionnel and could grow on some people, just not my type of stuff i guess
>electronic, organic, beats, textures
Check out my first project:
Any listen, feedback, support is appreciated!
Just finished this today
>DNB, Female vocals, Lazers, lots of sub bass.
Ill try to listen to everything.
I like the melody in this. Kinda smooth on the hook.
>Hip hop/Australian Artist.
The vocals little cheesy in my taste altough nice effects and solid production. Like the finish
Feedback returned in SC
There's two threds

Most of you probably know me already but I return all feedback and will check out things I haven't heard already!

Just a bedroom demo ^^;, we're working on a full album with a pro engineer
>lo-fi emotional hip-hop, piano
If you leave a comment/like ill check out and leave a comment/like on two of your tracks (ill only like the ones i actually do like)
>noise rap instrumental
be on the lookout for my 1st EP / beat tape
not sure what genre Numb is but its good, kinda reminds me of crystal castles with the vocal manipulation
i liked Hibuo tbh its the most hip hop track out of the ones i listened to, the really minimal use of that vocal sample adds to it for some reason. very chill
i dont really have anything intelligent to say about it but cowboys & indians is a really good beat
bells from the shore has such a pretty melody honestly
Last time I'll post this
>comments? Love? Criticism?
>experimental, atmospheric, synth, samples, beats, other stuff
I return feedback and follows on SC
>so i slowed down ariana grande
a couple of new tracks up, feedback appreciated
Just released a new song.
I SUBMITTED A PLUGS THEME SONG FOR MY FAVORITE PODCAST, COMEDY BANG BANG, AND THEN THEY PLAYED IT LIVE ON THE AIR.
AND THEN THEIR GUEST, TENACIOUS MOTHER-FUCKING D, CALLED MY SONG A TASTY JAM, AND RATED IT 8/10.
IT WAS AMAZING.
>fast-forward to 1:25.10 to hear them play my plugs theme
>the plugs theme, standalone
>RAGGA JUNGLE 190BPM
Also uploaded it on YT now because of visualization
Feedback always appreciated

>generic shitty indie pop?
Weird Electronic music
I listened to This Burning Ship. I really liked it. The synths and effects sounded awesome. It has a really big sound. The only criticism I have are the vocals. They sound very hipster and don't fit that well with the rest of the song in my opinion. Might be better instrumental.
This isn't exactly my thing, but the progression of it is nice. It definitely builds very well.
Love the juxtaposition of the vocals to the beats. The beats are very nice too. It's got a nice drum and bass feel. I like what both the drums and bass are doing. Interesting.
Here's what I've been doing.
I'm in the process of making more things. I'll try to check more stuff out too.
>noise, glitch, expressionism, oil
I love your guitar playing and all the instrumentation in your tracks. Astor Place in particular is very lovely. I would just bring out your vocals a little more so you can hear them.
ugh your recordings have this SICK lo-fi quality to them, I'm so jealous of it. "Demo" is AWESOME.
This is some good production. I like the aggressive vocal bits. The clapping makes it sound like every indie hipster song. There are a lot of good parts though. I marked one on the track. I recommend this track.
Hey thanks I really appreciate it. Layering some of the same notes helps to get that sound when it's already coming through my laptop mic but some spots the quality really shows and ruins it a bit. I enjoyed your burning ship track, it sounds like something Noah Lennox, Sun Araw, and Flotation Toy Warning would whip up if they collaborated, keep it up I dug it
I posted this earlier. It's not soundcloud because this is all I have. Hope you guys like it.
>RAISE THE DEAD
RETURNING ALL FEEDBACK

Just made this.
Not really sure what genre, I guess that's for the listener to decide.
This was dark and spacey. Good work!
>I make music
independent hip hop, rap, backpack
made this all myself. still a work in progress. feedback wanted
Some electronic, acid, trance, whatever. My first song no my account is pure garbage but haven't gone around to deleting it.
offensive verbiage/ charming aesthetic
This is dope. Lyrically it's great. Musically it's not bad but maybe some variation would be great.
This feels somehow unfinished. I'm not an expert but i would suggest adding some pads or something more in the background.
This is some psychedelic stuff and i dig it. adding vocals won't hurt but this is good stuff either way.
If anyone has time I could really use some feedback
please come listen to me butcher beats thx
plunderphonics, psychedelic electronic, electronic post-rock
>i hope you dont like jesus
>L Ron core
Followed and fed back
I'll be monitoring for the next hour or so.
Happy wednesday, mutants!
>>chillwave// dreampop// r&b
remix of my homies track off his Bucolia lp:
stay tuned Life in Technicolor is being released shortly via Senzu Collective B]
>Instrumental Hip-Hop / Future Funk
i'm currently working on some lyrics to accompany a lot of my stuff since i'm in a bit of a production slump
gonna check out the beats-oriented posts on here
the intro threw me off a bit but i love how the song develops, especially the drums.
a minor complaint, the dissonance around the 3 minute mark really took me out of the moment. nice shit tho
Just completed this today
I know that SC threads get pretty dead when they get this long but I don't think you'll regret checking it out. It's psychedelic folk.

hey guys i'm back
i'm a bit sad so i won't write that long ass text
>Hip-Hop sampled beats
>Jazz and Bossa Nova samples
This one is a short remix of My Favorite Ladies by MF DOOM. i made this in 30 minutes or so,so sorry if the mixing is crappy
Just uploaded a remake of my older beat "Kaneda":
>Electro, Complextro, French House, Oldschool whatever
A mix of a lot of genres. Most of the songs are more than 8 months old instrumentally. New stuff soon.
I'm a sucker for some dream pop/indie and this is right up my alley.
Sad Trees is awesome. Unsettling, but nice in a weird way. Keep it up.
I love how polished the math rock songs are. The black metal songs sound a bit too unpolished for my taste, but I suppose that's a positive for black metal?
This is awesome.
My feeback would be to keep it up and write more. I dig it.
I usually give feedback to many people, but this evening i kinda feel like shit so, sorry i can't rate people's music right now.
But i'm usually active around here other days, so i'll be there next time
It leads into the track under which might be important for context, but that's a lot of time to listen.
>electronic/glitch technically maybe
>alternative I dunno.
Thanks and I'll check out some of yours too.
had to change the link so it would process I guess.
>alternative emo, post-rock, noise, electronic
It ties to the track under strongly in a contextual sense, but wouldn't expect anyone to listen to both
Gladly return any comments.
>Italo inspired Synthwave, slight metal influence
> stoner noise, joke indie, covers, remixes
we've been out of our gourds for some time now
>cozy beats and liquid melodies
>transcendent of all existing genres
