Where's all the stuff in the neofolk scene this year? The only stuff I've heard and liked have been Rome's new album, Nebelung's new album, and the new Roma Amor album. There was also a new Stormfågel EP but it kind of sucked and wasn't even neofolk, shame with how much I like his past work. I heard a couple okay Russian albums from ???? and ????. The only other thing that even comes to mind is the new Current 93 album but I'm not really into Current 93 much.
Pic related was great.
They used to be one of the best bands but then after the '80s, they got shitty. I like some songs from Wish and all of Bloodflowers but they have lost the way a long time ago. Robert could have broke the band up like he has been saying with every new The Cure album since Disintegration
nah that's not my point though. the cure are pretty mainstream (and damn good don't get me wrong), and they have enough entry-level appeal to give them popularity everywhere on this board. idk, i feel like generals should be more dedicated to lesser known stuff
Some French Coldwave here:
