New FANNS song
I've heard your stuff several times before. Was pretty nice. Cool to see a new track from you. Very nice arpeggios and dual guitar work. Love the sound of your hand sliding across the neck of the guitar too.
A nice calming instrumental.
Seems like your song "Alien" was pretty popular. Pretty nice mixing. Cool chill vocals. Very fun rock song.
I get hints of QOTSA, The Doors and probably a few other groups I can't recall atm. I hope your band is still active and doing well. I wish you all the best. Nothing really to critique imo except im not a huge fan of having instruments in various ear channels. But thats not such a bad thing. Grumbly, thumping bass and nicely toned distorted guitar riffs.
I love your art direction.
Just listened to Smoke ( ?? ) 420°. I like the minimalism and subtle eeriness to the track. Would be a cool minimal track to have an MC rap verses over I reckon.
Nicely produced. Very chill.
?? has some real quirky sounds. Very fun. Im listening now. 8 mins is a pretty epic length but the pianos and glitchy electronic sounds keep it interesting. Youre very talented musician and it really shows here on this track with grandeur. It seems so chaotic yet held together at the same time. The drums/percussion are very nice. Well produced imo. I wish you well with your endeavours. Do you do much live shows/gigs?
>indie jams with orchestral elements
returning feedback and listening to others in thread
You just commented on "Shrouded". Yes, the "percussive" sound is my piano.
I'm listening to your track "I like your Beard" atm. Fuck your voice is nice. I'm gonna try get through your discography. Very warm, nice horns and acoustic guitar work. I believe I hear a mandolin too. Im enjoying it a lot so far.
I love the cute drawing artworks too. They go well with the music too.
The name "I like your beard" has a nice viral song potential. One of the most heartfelt and sincere sounding songs about beards Ive ever heard. Do you play much live gigs?
Im very impressed. Following.
"Devil I Rejected":
>I make different music inspired by Cyberpunk & Japan.
dark ambient - experimental
work in progress
I don't play piano much except for the occasional stuff around on it.
Thought some light high keys would help.
Yeah you could try some little piano lines to create an eerie atmosphere.
I reckon you should dude. Your voice is great and I can't believe you wrote some of those in just "an hour". Thats incredible. I reckon you should have a go at playing live and getting your name out there a bit. The songs are great.
Ah thanks a ton, I've never done anything live, I need friends to play with and a bit of courage aha. But thank you I really appreciate that, I checked out your music, just left the comment on SC but really liked it ^^
Same to you buddy, you got a great professional sound
>128 bpm, 4/4
really good soundscape, i like it!
'i like your beard' has a great warmth to it, well done!
you gotta work on structure bruh bruh, the beats themselves are tight but they just come in and go out again. spend some time listening to commercial stuff and get a feel for the structures. if you can wrangle your shit into a basic intro/verse/chorus structure then it's much easier to give them a sense of movement and development.
all the sound design and shit is pretty tight tho
even just putting things into distinct eight or sixteen bar sections, and then adding and removing elements in each section can go a long way to making it feel more like a song rather than just a beat. i guess if you're using an mpc that might be a hassle tho
It is, man, lol. I'm used to playing beats live, so I never really had to follow the schedule, but every so often when I make stuff for rappers, I kick my self in the ass to not get myself carried away with the improvisation.
>you got a great professional sound
I wouldn't say that but at leats it doesn't make peoples ears completely bleed. Haha
I found your music lively and engaging so I reckon it'd be cool to do a live set. You could do an album or something.
>instrumental hip hop, anime shit, cloud rap
rap beats i make that sound kind of sad
Just wanted to add up these two tracks I always forget about:
"Niggaz On Banana Peelz"
check it out guys, fill return all feedback

Great stuff man, wish you had more than 3 tracks up. Haven't seen much polished House on here but your stuff is great :)
Bobbing my head listening to your song man, I like the chill break in the middle ~ very cinematic. Keep it up :)
Meant to be played live, I'm pretty satisfied with this recording though.
>Experimental, Glitch, Vaporwave-ish
Most stuff on my profile is folk and ambient stuff, I'm currently trying to get into Baths-ish rhythm work.
>Old project (Electro House)
>New project (Ambient/Glitch/Noise)
Glitch/Shoegaze hybrid coming next monday
Feels a lot like Basement-era Elliott Smith here. The chord progression is very strong. Unfortunately, I don't think either of the main melodies are compelling enough to carry the song - a lot of two-note back and forths.
Keep working on the melody and I'm sure you'll come up with something. The chord progressions, the structure, the humming bit at the end, all very solid otherwise.
> folk, singer-songwriter
Wrote this two days ago, just rewrote the melody last night. The recording's a bit rough, but I'd love to hear what you all think. Will return feedback later on SC, heading off to work in a bit.
> chopped up analog electronic psych, lo fi bass music

Not sure what to call it so if anyone knows people making music like this let me know :)
Anyway i'd massively appreciate feedback since this is totally new and i don't know if anyone is interested in music like this.

I would really appreciate if you took a couple of minutes to listen to this.

It's weird as fuck, but
choose one and give me some criticism, i want to improve (time, blackout and garro are probably the most decent)
>instrumental beats, chill, mixes, n64
gimme some feedback cheers
Finished the video yesterday, it's in the description if interested.
that alien song was decent man !
progressive rock tune above ^
Productionwise, those tracks are pretty decent. Wide stereo image, fairly loud, nice sampling. Some rough spots, e.g. the phasing near the end of Blackout is a little to extreme, which makes it irritating, particularly on headphones.
In terms of composition, I'm not sure what you're going for. I find those tracks interesting, but not particularly pleasant to listen to. It's like one of those weird as fuck paintings, that while technically OK, they just make you go "eh".
You might need to place yourself in the position of the hypothetical listener a little more when composing. Music is, after all, made to listen to.
just my 2c
progressive rock tune!
Definitely going to check out more of your stuff.
>shoegaze, dream pop, noise pop, psychedelic.

Just opening the first fucking link made me lose the will to check the others, jesus christ
>Some Funk every now and then
Random electronic sounds =/= original music
I thought the climax towards the chorus was ok, but then the transition was shit, like the execution of the chorus itself
You fucked up man
Nice little song
1. it kinda feels dry, but I somehow enjoyed it
2. liked the first 30 seconds, then the structure gets non-sensical (in a bad way)
the song has no soul
I listened to the first 2 songs, you could work a bit on the voice, it feels strange in some parts (also accent)
Overall it feels like a standard rock band with melodies here and there
The first song has a nice catchiness to it
i liked "rain" reminded me of brian eno, and all the clicking and clacking in the background
holy fuck i dig this i am 100% behind this. How did you record this?
It seemed to me the identity of the song laid on the interchanging of moody piano loops and high pitched standard electronic sound throughout all the song, not going anywhere
Maybe I'm wrong man, just what I hear
>All you didn't expect from Burkina Faso band
Gonna be listening to everyone's as well so help me out?
>First electronic track
>Second Electronic track
>Solo guitar stuff
>two guitars in love
EDM isn't really my thing but i dig this track. Has some very chill vibes coming from it!
vocals samples are pretty cool, production has a really nice smooth sound to it, followed looking forward to what you put out in the future!
interesting track, drums seem a bit off at times and i feel like they could pop a bit more in the mix but the track still has some cool vibes.
already following you and checked this song out but to anyone who hasn't i recommend it! really dope.
pretty sure you where one of the first couple of people i found/met through these soundcloud threads but i haven't checked out your album until now. Definitely enjoyed it, love the dark sound of it and the ambient instrumental parts.
Anticipating future releases!
nice synth work on your tracks, drums need some work, not to fond of the samples in general but they also seem to be a bit loud in places.
Nonetheless still some chill vibes that i can dig.
recommend checking this guy out if you haven't already cool shit yo!
really enjoying you're tracks, perfectly mixed so not much i can really criticize but yeah, great production work!
This is me, i'll continue giving feedback in a little bit going take a break and work towards finishing up some tracks.
It has personal meaning/story since I don't really write towards any set audience at all besides myself, but all fair tho. Just rubbed me the wrong way since I really don't try to go for originality or specific genres, not my intent at all, so don't like being told I'm doing it wrong like there's a formula, aha.
If that sounds pretentious I don't mean it to oops cos I'm not
>chill hip hop/ trap
>Mostly Sample-based instrumentals. Some other shit as well.
Wow. I like this. Really interesting.
Most interested in getting feedback on this song. Just wrote it today... it's inspired by Loretta Lynn
And honey though, I know
You’re just a coal-miner’s daughter
That don’t mean, you must be
Another sheep to the slaughter
All you gotta do’s
‘Tucky two-step with me
Honey, if you run for the hills
You’ll settle with a strip-miner
Won’t ya take your Appalachia will
And be my wily Delilah
Honey, grab your boots
And ‘Tucky two-step with me
Oh doll, won’t ya be my Dolly,
Be my Patsy Cline?
When I’m sentimentally yours, sweet Loretta
We’ll be doing it right
Honey, think it through and
‘Tucky two-step with me
Sequin leather jacket
With rhinestone stripes
Your neon name lighting Nashville
Every sold-out night
Loretta run away
‘Tucky two-step away
C’mon elope with me
Returning all feedbackandstuff. Thanks bros
we probably listen/make to similar music, so feedback could be useful...
listened to Calls and Hangups... the break down was my favorite part. the sounds of the organ and drummer were great, too.
my one criticism would be that it starts to blur together before it ends... the sounds are all good, but they're almost too big together... it's all one colossal wall of sound instead of something that feels like it progresses or builds as they track plays
still, good tune with great production!
breat new joint
>lo fi black metal
>Sweet Trip, LSD, Mystical, wiccan, Dark magician, spongebob.
I think he said that because female singers are usually good. I know it sounds sexist but when you hear 'female vocalist' like you 99% know its gonna be some good stuff.
There arent many female hardcore or black metal singers. So you have the expectation it will be an angelic voice. Its bad to assume but thats just how it is in peoples minds for the most part.
don't you 404 on me
>L. Ron Core
Experimental / VOX SOL ?
if you are into progressive trance/house

I don't even know what genre, to be honest genres confuse me.

>Prog rock, metal, pop, shoegaze, acoustic, whateva

Just made this tonight. Experimental (seriously)
Hoping for some serious feedback, it's kind of a difficult track to get a grip on for me
>experimental, electronics, digital artifacts
this mah doodles:
would be cool to collaborate with someone who does ambient electronic stuff. I could give you a piece like this and you do what you want with it
>piano, ambient, depressive
Does someone want to tell me what Genre you would consider this to be?
I like to think that I write psychedelic music, but I seem to be drifting away from that genre as I grow older.
>lots of freestyles, basically
Trying to begin doing electronic music, like everyone else. Check it out!
>Electronic, Fast beat, I can't figure out what genre this fits in because it's not necessarily dance music or dubstep.
I've had one huge ass headache trying to put this song together.
