This is the music of a man who's already taken the pills, and the only thing he can think is "finally."
this is true how did i not post this
>ANGEL PLEASE DONT GOOOOO
>BE REAL IT DOESNT MATTER ANYWAY
>I KNOW THAT DOOOOOOOOR
This and To Be Kind honestly fit
Someone make a chart already
Everyone else in the thread, reply to the albums you think deserve a spot
different guy, but it's one of his best albums. completely different from anything he's done before, if you're judging it based on other stuff he's done. i'd give it a full listen through, haven't really found anything else like it before
if they have a reputable following with a large fan base, it doesnt matter because it's actually relevant discussion and each post is obviously not by them. over two thirds of the artists listed have that, as for the rest, yes, they are "viraling"
but this is an incredibly autistic post
I agree with some of those on the chart (Foliage, Lunar Eskimo, Fantano), but come on Antz are you seriously suggesting Lorde came here to market?
Also some of them are beyond stopping - Dan Barrett may have been viralling at the start, but his music is actually good and people now like it. Can't say the same about the the shitty bandcamp artists.
It is autistic. To say you shouldn't talk about music that you've heard on the fucking music board is preposterous. It's the fucking music board. Just because you don't like the albums or they are, dare I say, too "mainstream" is fucking retarted and fucking bullshit. Is Chance the Rapper bad? Yea. He is. But because motherfuckers want to talk about this cunt doesn't mean they're 'viral marketing'. It means they like and want to talk about the shit. Plain and simple.
Also, I like you stuck in a dis at Fantano, and calling him a narcissist. Anyone who writes a whole fucking chart claiming their way is the true way to listen to fucking music on a fucking music board is also a narcissist. Not to mention the whole "reblog for jesus" shit at the end.
>I said, "kiss me, you're beautiful; these are truly the last days"
>You grabbed my hand and we fell into it, like a daydream or a fever
>Where are you going?
>Where are you going?
>Where are you going?
I've always felt that Insurgentes represented depression in a way. All of the slow moody basslines and the often repetitive nature, in conjunction with the noise and shoegaze influence seemed to echo loneliness and depression. Like FOABP, but with less awkward lyrics and metal
Don't get lost/demon days
Also kids with guns
Yeah its feel good
Kids with guns, and also all alone
El manana is the most lonelycore though
Not the whole album but
>I need a crowd of people
>but I can't face them day to day
I guess it's more "break upy" than lonely, but since I've never experienced that I always just associate it with loneliness.
Pretty much all of Bill Callahan's work both under his own name and the Smog/(Smog) moniker is pretty intensely lonely.
Wild Love, especially, is a very lonely album. His earliest work(Sewn to the Sky, Julius Caesar) is even lonelier, but a bit less accessible. Wild Love is about feeling lonely even when there are people around. Smog clicked with me in my most intense periods of alienation and isolation.
It really is such a sad album.
It never really hit me until I actually paid attention to lyrics of Wouldn't It Be Nice. It's traditionally known as such a happy song, but really it's quite depressing. He's just fantasizing about all of those lovely situations, and wouldn't it be nice if they were true.
>you know it seems the more we talk about it
>It only makes it worse to live without it
DARE (in the sense of an individual track) or November Has Come
Last Living Souls
Be Great Inc.
White Light, All Alone and Demon Days all tie for this
Someone make a chart of all this shit with a top 5 or top 10 and then sub-essential lonelycore
any of their albums
You didn't see me I was falling apart
I was a white girl in a crowd of white girls in the park
I was a television version of a person with a broken heart
when your hustler subscription and your xanax prescription makes you feel lonelier insteaaaaad
anyone got lonely-core that isnt about breaking up/losing a loved one etc? I want 100%, completely shut off lonely-core.
Alternatively, would be great if someone can point out any album thats been posted that fits that criteria
I don't want a gf.
I just want friends.
Keaton's easy to connect with if you're timid and afraid of everyone. Helps if you have a weak voice.
Can someone recommend me something realy similiar to early fugazi? Somewhat op related.
lonely enough to make me want to shoot up a school
>The silence sent a scream into the cold
>I wait I wait
I think it fits. The entire album feels very cold.
I'd like to travel the world, babe, but stoop kid's afraid to leave his stoop.
>car seat's nervous and the lights are bright
>when I was a kid I fell in love with michael stipe
>I look lyrics out of context and thought
>"he must be speaking to me"
fuck, there's so many
This is more "I'm lonely and I hate everybody."
