the comments are an absolute shitstorm.
full of normalfags "THIS IS ABIT PEDOISH"
full of lolifaggots "LOL PHARREL IS INTO LOLICON HES SO BASED"
when the reality is he loves japanese culture/cartoons and it wasnt inteded to be sexual at all. but of course the youtube comment section is full of autists
Oh I saw this guy posting on /jp/. The guy is obsessed with Shinsei Kamattechan.
I really don't like his vocals on this track and his lyrics don't feel really thought out. Still I really admire him for being so inspired. Makes me wish I could play music but I'm just a lazy NEET.
>it wasnt inteded to be sexual at all
Please stay out, weebs. You chose to mark yourself as sociopathic manchild autistics, and now you get to stay in your containment environments both here and IRL. Nobody wants you around, because of your conscious choice to be a faggy nerd. Remember that every time you discuss or think about your pedophile cartoons.
I've been a pretty big Pharrell fan for a while since The Neptune's and N.E.R.D. I think the video is really aesthetically pleasing and cute as fuck, but I can only imagine the reaction normals are going to say since the main girl is lolicious. Pharrell is pretty close with Takashi Murakami so it's kind of expected this would happen sooner or later. Pharrell even remixed a Miku song.
>adult who watches cartoons as a "hobby" implies I'm childish
You really have deluded yourself. Incredible.
Your epic smug anime face meme is original, funny, and incisive.
There is nothing wrong with watching anime. Yes, there are childish idiots out there who make it their life and basically act like fucking morons about it, but it's incredibly stupid to write off an entire facet of media just on some pre-conceived notion you have in your head.
hopefully you're in here
the dub is really really bad don't watch
mine actually is the best though
Seriously? What animes have you watched and what kind of music are you into?
Never seen it I like the cheezyness of some of the show themes but I see how it pisses some people off.
good choice. i cant decide who is better tho. like i like them both so much.
I-I like that one too. :c
nice wallpaper here is mine
I hate visual novels.
I hate the ridiculous number of visual novel adaptations there are.
I hate all the stupid fads anime fans get sweeped up in, from Haruhi to whatever crap Key is producing at the moment.
I hate that people still haven't realized K-On is a mindnumbing piece of shit.
I hate tsundere.
I hate that entire personalities can be defined in a single word.
I hate that said flat personalities are somehow considered good, or even prefereble.
I hate the idiots who like said flat personalities.
I hate that anime has devolved into an industry that caters to retards, shut-ins and pedophiles.
I hate anime.
>mfw i'm really getting into Rip Slyme and Nujabes
No because the only thing relative to your shitty culture on this board is the Kpop threads.
I'm tired of you socially retarded autists fluttering to every non-animu related board and shitting it up with your faggotry
>he's a normalfag
>on the internet
>on an anime imageboard
>that was created by a weeaboo
>by copying a japanese site
>in order to discuss anime with his fellow weeaboo friends
>he complains about weeaboos on this site
I'm just imagining some moron sitting in his room posting who thinks he really is so much better because he perceives his interests as better and more morally sound when really he's just a narrow-minded child.
I don't even watch that much anime i just like the cool reaction images
All very good choices, but still...
>Not posting this gold
It's super ironic and funny because they hate black people.
Anime is so disproportionately filled with shit and that makes it really difficult to get into. You can say that about any medium, but definitely not to the same extent. Even fucking video games are proportionately better.
I don't see why so many have to fall back on pandering and fan service or spectacle. So much so that when an anime subverts it's mediums tropes in any way, weeks go apes hit with their "MASTERFUL DECONSTRUCTION OF THE GENRE" bullshit.
There's a lot of anime that I like. It I can say without a doubt that it is the worst medium of art in the history of everything.
Rip Slyme are in this group
>It I can say without a doubt that it is the worst medium of art in the history of everything.
I really do think this is hyperbole. A lot of my favorite shows of all time were anime, and anime shows/movie have given me incredible emotion and feels time after time.
Is television any better of a medium? With dozens of day-time soap operas produced on a shoe string budget, talk shows, "the people's court" type judge shows, infomercials, reality television, etc. you really could say the same for any type of medium if you dislike it enough.
Sturgeon's law; 90% of everything is complete shit.
It's the same kind of phenomena that happens with Nickleback. The dislike of something becomes so big and entrenched in popular culture that it supersedes actually disliking it from your own viewpoint and becomes "everyone else hates it, man this is terrible" sheep mentality whether they want to admit it or not.
normalfags are annoying and posting cute girls is fun
>tfw I'm not even a weeaboo anymore
>tfw i will never enjoy anime again
Maybe for you, but I have felt stronger emotional reactions to anime series then I have from the Wire. Does that mean they are better? For me personally, yes. But that's my opinion, like yours, and it shouldn't affect how you enjoy something. The legend and hype surrounding the Wire is far FAR larger than most anime shows. That also ties back into what I was talking about earlier with Nickleback and how everyone hates them because they see everyone else hating them. Group mentality.
There is no anime show lauded as a genre defining piece that is legendary and absolutely must watch. So in turn, people will think that anime lacks any actually good series, or beautiful plots, because we'd have heard about them right?
It's completely fine if it isn't your cup of tea. but please don't dismiss it just because you yourself dislike most of it.
I know it's subjective, I didn't think I needed to point that out. I'm not even talking about general critical acclaim either.
I'm not dismissing it at all. I've seen a lot of it and I like a lot of it. I was just making a comparison to other mediums that I've probably consumed even more of, and yet there doesn't seem to be as much awful crap, or at least as much reliance on spectacle or tropes as in anime.
This isn't coming from a guy who's seen like 2-3 anime and is making a blanket statement
simply put pic related
most anime spoonfeeds emotions and plot, leaving little up to the viewer to interpret or draw lessons from.
>here is this character, hes clumsy and silly, but also very strong!
>here is this character, she is beautiful and funny, she dies and the main character gets strong!
its autismo tier if you seriously like it, but there are some essential gems to watch
Fooly Cooly is just pretty alright and fun to watch, and it's still one of the best anime
I mean there are a lot of subtext and symbolism to read into but it's all obvious stuff. Great visually though, with appropriately manic pacing
i feel i must interject here
youre getting carried away
