I don't believe that for a second. I don't feel like sifting through the op's chart, so could you send me what you consider to be the best sportswave track you've heard? I wanna see if my instinct is wrong on this genre being shit
I mean, i guess it's not awful but it's pretty boring stuff. Do you guys really enjoy this so much that you feel the need to push it so hard? or do you just wanna be a part of something?
I don't know what you mean by pushing it. I'm just making these tracks for practice since I want to learn how to use my DAW.
The only reason I made this thread was continue posting and talking about this stuff with the people in the last thread.
If there's spillover to the rest of /mu/ I don't know who's doing it.
Since the other two albums were pretty fun, I might make a third. What do you guys use for your effects and shit? Like that wonderful reverb that I've heard on a few tracks. All I've used are Linux multimedia studio and audacity.
Yeah, sounds like the definition of sportswave.
There's really no wrong way to do this stuff as of now. Genre requirements have already been broken by people like me and that guy that made that >black metal baseball
do you think sportswave will mature enough to where not every cover doesn't seem like it's related to sports? I like some of them but right now that chart looks like a vaporwave baby of covers.
Probably not. This whole thing started as a joke and probably will continue to be one. I mean, how seriously can you take
>90's sports broadcasts over heavily layered synths and sounds of the rainforest
>Red Sox vs Twins 1967
A one off track, may do more.
and yes, I was on the D&J album
and yes, I own one of the first 7 cassettes
Earthquake guy here
I really want to like this but its feels like some heavy ambient music
Some songs i heard yesterday were pretty good tho, but they feel a little different from what it was described to me
Finished my EP
attempt at guitar based sportswave
Finished the next chapter in the story of The Don.
>Too Much Sun
I still hope someone will use this as a track/ablum cover.
Made a different version of >>50661053
Which do you guys think looks better?

Im out. we had a nice run though
>do you just wanna be a part of something?
this. all of the failed microgenres are spammed and forced because they want to be known for being part of the the formulation and invention of it. they want to be Vektroid or whatever.
the reason so many of these half baked are just vaporwave knockoffs is because vaporwave is so easy to make, so talent hacks flock to it so they can have a glimmer (albeit false) sense of what it feels like to be an artist.
Someone called this the floral shoppe of sportswave yesterday and I was flattered
I recorded about two hours of live instrumentals last night to use. Expect 1-2 releases by the end of the week
>makes 3 albums in a day
>says shit like "Someone called this the floral shoppe of sportswave yesterday and I was flattered"
why in the fuck would i search for that? it just proves my point that you're trying to be another Vektroid.
this shit sucks. your shit sucks. put more effort into your art for fucks sake.
