Can you please post the deepest jazz there is? I'm done with the essentials. I'm ready to go all the way down.
that's because it doesn't make any sense for anybody and it's just praised by people who have no idea what they're talking about. There's nothing deep about atlantis you're not missing anything.
I remember seeing some kind of avantguard jazz shit once. It was fucking terrible, everyone was playing for themselves disregarding the rest of the band entirely.
The drummer suddenly took out a tiny gong he started banging on before returning to the drums and using some kind of self made shit for sticks.
Worst thing is they were using notesheets, so it wasn't even improvised. Most pretentious shit I have ever seen, and I have seen some shit.
>I had to put on some Beethoven to cleanse my mind from that filth.
you are such a fucking retard. you're everything that's wrong with free jazz and all other 2deep4u genres. There's nothing to "click" because there's nothing at all. The music is what it is there are no deeper meanings behind it, nothing to "get". You are just a lame drone who will praise anything that gets praised by critics. You're the type of man to go to a museum and start praising a white canvas.
>you are such a fucking retard
Almost stopped reading there
Also to have something click for you is not the same as realizing a deeper meaning in the music.
Again, just because you don't understand something doesn't mean others don't
There's nothing to tell you here, doing so would ruin an otherwise fantastic album for you. You have to figure it out for yourself, you can't expect to have everything spoonfed to you, its time to grow out of that. Ill remind you again, and pay attention this time, clicking and understanding a deeper meaning are two different things.
You just can't explain to me what I don't understand or the "deeper meanings" simply because there's nothing there.
Don't worry about spoonfeeding me because i'll never listen to atlantis again.
>You just can't explain to me what I don't understand
of course he is, he is a tripfag, a part of a secret club you can only join after several years of music academic studying in order to justify the tripping and making it useful to the whole community
>boohoo i have shit taste stop liking things i don't like
try this and Larry Young - Lawrence of Newark
On a personal note the problem I find with Jazz is that there's no equivalent of death metal inside the genre. Rock can keep me going all day because it has Black Sabbath or Electric Wizard or some real heavy riffage. Jazz...well, you've got blues, and be bop and swing, but I can never find that jazz feel of doom.
>people don't get atlantis
lel. when i listened to it while sleep depraved and on a amphetamine comedown it just blew my mind like you have no idea.
atlantis is a masterpiece and a work of true genius - you plebs just dont know shit.
you can literally hear the voice of space in there. you stupid fuckn plebs
>not knowing the snuff jazz masters "Borbetomagus"
Does anyone have any Shoji Aketagawa solo material other than Shudan Seikatsu and Daikanjyo?
I don't know why everyone assumes deep=inaccessible
I'd probably say pic related is the deepest jazz album
what the fuck is a chronotransduction anyway, guys?
