''IDM'' and downtempo general.
Aphex Twin and Burial can survive in their own threads, no reason to post them in here.
Lets talk non-EDM / muh pioneers electronic based music.
What else was good from 2014?
Ambient can be fine too.
I don't like the sound of /ELM/. I propose we create /blomp/.
>what is /blomp/?
Acid jazz, nu-jazz, ambient house, ambient techno, downtempo, trip-hop, first wave IDM alongside any other IDM which isn't too autistic like breaksore and drill and bass IDM. In short: all sorts of rhythmic music which is also nice to listen to in a calm and peaceful environment.
What say thee?
don't think most of these are RDJ tbh
they don't sound too polished/constructed to be freshly baked fakes either
the way I see it it's possibly tracks that got sent to Grant/Richard to be included in the Philosophy of Sound and Machine compilation in the early 90s but ultimately ended up being scrapped/rejected
This if you don't mind a little boogie rhythm too?
Also wtf happened to Bonobo, that was shite.
>One of Burial's trademarks is the use recordings of jangling key sounds as percussion
>"Temple Sleeper" comes out on a mysterious new label called Keysound Recordings
fucking beaumont hannant
dude made some great shit back in the day, super underrated
