MSTRKRFT- The Looks
The Third Twin- Homemade
The last Abba album
>tfw that second album
I've never been so disappointed and disgusted in my entire life.
everybody forgetting the best dance/house album of 2014
sonic crusader is pretty amazing. glad i can diffuse it through this board
sebastiAn is essentially a darker version of justice. he released an album called Total, but i honestly like his Remixes album better. mr flash's sonic crusader is a reverse sebastian, being a lot less darker and a lot more "spacious". really both are amazing, so no foul checking out either.
ed banger also has some other great people, like "breakbot" who makes 80's sounding funk and "mr. oizo" who makes repetitive but good dance music. honestly just slowly check out the whole label. france is a great source for electronic music
>mostly listen to dance music
Justice, Daft Punk, Savant, does the list goes on in this direction?
>ed banger records seems to be the best label
but they've been shit pretty consistently since mid 2011
SILY is great but i found that that When I Met You bootleg works even better on account of having more recognizable pop tunes weaved into it
why, can't you put on one of the hundreds of eligible commercial mix CDs out there?
good shit. not to mention the mix CDs they put out around the time of each album release are fire too
yeah, started getting disappointing right around when all the AVD ep's started getting churned out with sub-par remix work. Let the Children Techno is the best thing that label put out in the 2010's
hey I was just wondering if
I COULD HAVE A LINK FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
You posted the wrong pic. Here Imma help you out.
Nah it's actually really good. I wasn't too big about it at first either, but it actually has a lot of subtleties in many different ways, and if you try to pay attention to them all, you'll realize there's quite a bit going on.
i always thought nu-disco was more "breakbot" or "RAM daft punk". like literally just... new disco. the deeper sounds on sonic crusader always resonated "house" with me
ill never understand the difference between idm and edm i get what they're supposed to be but the lines get so blurred
It's definitely a much more interesting listen than Sonic Crusader though because there's so much happening. Idk if you listen to much House at all, but stuff like Sonic Crusader, Daft Punk, Justice, etc. is all one type that definitely caters more to non-House fans than it does House fans. But you go to like the electronic section of Discogs or RA or some of the lesser known spots that talk about electronic music they have all been about Leon Vynehall.
ed banger diehards is the dadrockers of electronica
that vynehall ep was something special, however tune of the year for me had to be this:
Anything else you can recommend in the same vein as that Leon Vynehall EP? I'm not the guy you were replying to I just didn't follow new electronic releases that much last year for some reason and maybe I missed something good.
Yeah dude, no problem.
Floating Points - King Bromeliad
Floating Points - Nuits Sonores
Head High - Megatrap
Kassem Mosse - Workshop 19
Max Graef - Rivers Of the Red Planet
While it's more Techno, I highly recommend checking out Gesloten Cirkel's Submit X, too.
Really like this and get a good reaction when I put it on.
my nigga, 1st time i've seen this album on /mu/
