might do some sort of physical release in the future if people seem interested
if i do a physical release i might combine these two albums into a double album
>an ironic attempt at electronic dance music
>over the top sexual references/aggression/drug use
>Dark metal/black metal
Collab with Banished Souls Ov Forbidden Desire coming soon.
also maybe a cassette release.
>noise rock, industrial, hip hop, plunderphonics, electronic, free improvisation
>ambient, glitch, drone
Like me on Facebook here: /cashewmusic
Really liked your other stuff but this is awesome, the heavy guitars and general dark atmosphere are great and you definitely suit this style.
A little too "safe" sounding, but otherwise quite good, definitely not too cheesy like a lot of dark ambient. Reccing your main project as always.
>multi-genre ersatz shit, mr bungle/ariel pink influenced freak out
shit this is actually pretty sweet. i think you have some sick potential. especially if you dropped all of the meme shit and developed some sort of aesthetic to match your music.
I did some terrible things with autotune on Blood On The Leaves
/I already know you guys and have given you feedback, so recc/
I like the ambient feel of this not-quite-ambient music. Its a good borderline between freak folk and freakier folk
Friends band I'm pimpin, I hope you dig it.
I live 40 minutes south of you
>ambient, tape loops, sleeping
>raw black/death metal and other stuff
cassettes for a c f a i i now,
so drunk, vomit soon, embarrassment later
Damn, thanks! I know I'm a cancerous fuck when it comes to some of the titles, but they're more of a afterthought and I didn't expect them to be taken seriously. But you're probably right.
I have a whole backlog of stuff under my other account too: frontierlogic.bandcamp.com
None of is mastered, or at least not well; it's all pretty much straight off the sequencer I use.
Cool! You near the cities, or what? I'll have to check out phofunk, I try to keep up with a lot of the bands around here. Pabst Blue Rebellion and Hotelecaster sound pretty alright but I haven't really had time to explore either of them. Seazon of the fly is another one, basically stuck in bar-gig purgatory atm. My old guitar teacher plays in it, I don't really dig their original stuff but some of their covers aren't bad.
cool name, music is comfy as fuck
really digging the production on this.
I've always wondered how big bands like this work. Does one guy write the music or do you jam until something sounds good or what?
very interesting take, not what i expected but i appreciate it. Cool hat.
haven't posted here for a while, since like last summer
posting my shit
basically an homage to the artists I adore in these genres (starting from obvious Tim Hecker to Bee Mask and KBD), I mean, even the artwork it's just fucking Harmony in ultraviolet rip-off, anyway, prolly my last music effort at all this year
hilarious & nicely produced
props to drummer.
actually downloaded, dude.
my type of soundscapes, also dl-ed
My favorite two songs are 22 & 23, they pretty much climax the storyline
Love this, ambient done very well which is rare.
Gonna monitor this after work
Here's a picture btw. From their newest album.
>I'm working on a concept album about the Mars One mission, they intend to send a crew of 4 in 2024 to establish the beginnings of the first mars colony.
This track is supposed to be just after take off when they're leaving earths atmosphere, the slow down is when they reach outer space and look back on their shrinking home planet, knowing they will never be able to go back home.
>dad pop, dream, bedroom dream noise, weather
>Minimal Techno, Freaky, Kind-Of-Chiptuney-But-Also-Kind-Of-Tribal-But-Not-Really-Core
the split thingie was okay. was hard to listen to at points, but only half in a good way. liked the more field recording oriented segments the best.
kind of horrible.
funky. wish it was faster.
super comfy. great atmosphere. REC
like the more midi approach to noise. normally i sort of hate when hip beats are incorperated into noise, but here it works very well. reminds me of recent oneohtrix point never. REC
>10 fucking dollars
for fairly mediocre strum and bitch no less. i know that there was a lot of emotion put into this, and i respect that, but it's just really fucking boring.
>my first album
>metro-ko, downtempo, dubstep, 2-step, underground hip hop, moody, chill, psychedelic
>collaborated with jordaan mason on a track
>contains samples of the beach boys, joanna newsom, daniel johnston, bob dylan, bill evans, and various films
>made for a girl
Demo out now! 20 minutes of raw evil. Available on CD limited to 50 copies. Raw (but not disgustingly bad) production. Hope you enjoy!
I strongly suggest you also try:
All great music, dark and brilliantly done.
>lo-fi shoegazey stuff, i dunno what to call it exactly
Yup! around Anoka atm, but probably moving closer to the cities soon. I love how diverse and thriving the music scene is regardless of genre
Mixed in Minneapolis and Mastered in Brooklyn. Alan Evans of Soulive helped on production I believe.
Usually starts written out, then kinda evolves
vid of them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A32n9yeW4r4
>Experimental & Psychedelic, Ambient
> experimental, doom pop, glitch, noise
This is super great. Interesting stuff all over the place. Please keep writing music.
>bedroom pop, lo-fi, emo
Absolutely loving this
Here are a couple of EPs I just dropped
They were written and recorded at the same time but sound much different.
>early Animal Collective-ish
More stuff to come for this year released on my personal bandcamp as well as the label that I'm on https://petalportmusic.bandcamp.com/album/petal-port-music-vol-1
my first three albums have been issued on cassette! editions of 30 each, all assembled with care. super stoked about this.
I like this a lot, great atmosphere. Glad to see another dark ambient/black metal artist on here.
I saw this in the last thread and really enjoyed it. Great work!!
I can't really tell if this is a joke or not. The first song kind of sounds like a cybergrind song from 2007 but I like the ambient parts.
I liked this. I would say work on production a little bit. The drums and guitars sound great but could both use a little reverb to give you a "bigger" sound. Also, double up on those guitar tracks and possibly add a little bit of delay on the guitars. Good overall though, keep it up.
records are finished and ready to ship, get your own copy of Look Out on vinyl
less than 20 left
reccing the squad
We're currently working on a new album in the studio not cassettes anymore.
>lo-fi, acoustic, folk
A taste of things to come, this journey in aural pleasures seeks to act as a foreword to foresight-inciting foreplay. Clerval is laying lifeless on the beach, placed there by the fresh-flesh gripping, dripping hands of the creator, a victim of of both circumstance and circumcision.
3 TRACK EP WITH FREE DOWNLOADS
I know the OP says "review edition" but it would be weird for me to review these so I won't. Still, you guys should check out the Logan Archer albums, the cassettes are super nice and the music is so good
We also released a cassette version of Junior Beams [EP] by the Baddest Beams <3
>pop, psych, indie rawking, jangling
internet rap, trap, alt-rap, stoner-rap, based music, some freestyle songs.
I dig Get Roofied.
You memed me the fuck out with this one.
Smooth as. You should find some MCs.
This is great.
I'm digging this, especially the B side.
Relax, brah. >>53827441 is me, I just wanted to post it while I was listening.
Don't mind me, I'm just copy-pasting for feedback sake since you're posting your stuff again too.
There's really a lot of genres in this album, which makes it very inconsistent (that's not something bad though). I would call more attention on the less-energetic tracks, like health pt. 1. The variation of BPM from track to track make these almost boring. Overall it's pretty good nowadays.
I like it. It's really samey, but you got a great rhythm and doesn't get boring. I don't know how to categorize it though. It feels a bit chiptuney and tribal at the same time, but it's clearly not either of them.
>experimental, noise pop, electronic, neo-psychedelia
Thanks! We're really stoked to be releasing that one, it's one of my favorite EPs of the past couple years.
Benthony Pooletano here, internet's shittiest poosic turd
This is rad, especially the first track. The mix is a little weird on the second one though, kind of feels like my speakers are gonna explode.
I think I have already mentioned how much I love a c f a i i in previous threads but I wanted to let you know how awesome those cassettes look
I downloaded your android app once. Feeling pretty memed about it
Vocals aren't quite what I was expecting but they kind of give it a more downcast vibe which works pretty well.
>ambiet, drone, krautrock, weird pop
check it out, new release in a few
free download if ur into that
Check it out a bit, it's all real but not serious.
For sure, go on :P
I don't promise I will listen to it very soon, though. I don't have that much spare time/interest to go through every bandcamp link posted, and we all see there are a lot of them.
>post-punk, noise-rock, industrial
