This blows every single future funk artist out of the fucking water.
>First of all, Time Machines is by Time Machines, not Coil.
The entire album is incredible. I really love their cover of America as well.
It also really angered me that you had "time machines" in lowercase.
And that Musick 2 is sorted before Musick 1, what's with that? You could probably fix that by changing "Musick to Play in the Dark, Volume 1" to "Musick to Play in the Dark", the actual name of the album.
The album mastering, mixing, the feels, every little thing matches so damn well it's impossible not to love every second of this record. When I read about how it was made I almost cried, now the album have even more power in my perception, damn you John Balance and Peter Christopherson, you guys are awesome.
though honestly this extends to me being on a Cedric Bixler Zavala/Omar Rodriguez Lopez kick
It's not even out yet, but I pretty obsessed with this
I've listened to this so much within the last couple of days
no joke this is the shit, it turns me into a four-year-old
can't believe I missed this fucking gem
holy fuck this album is perfect
pic related is my current favourite hiphop album
It's comes out March 31st (That day is loaded) but it leaked and it's so good. He entered Four Tet territories with this one
Finally listened to this for the first time last night and I immediately liked it.
Ela Guru is the jam of a lifetime.
Listened to this for the first time a couple days ago. Some of the best music I've ever heard
Right? Love Ghostly, Warp, Other People, and Constellation records. Just recently started branching and looking for artists by label- good decision. This is another good album I found released this month
i already listened to this album several years ago but some of the songs on here are hitting me so hard right now because i can relate. i cried twice to this song today and i havent cried for years.
life really hurts sometimes.
I'm just getting out of a huge obsession with 70s fusion music fueled by jazz funk, and I can finally enjoy 80s music.
Early 80s David Bowie and Talking Heads are amazing! I'm so glad I can finally enjoy them.
Can't wait to break through to the 90s.
Acid Police is such a fucking great opener.
I just listend to AON last night and I loved it
however pic related is still my shit right now
there is seriously as much quality to Drake's music as Nickelback's.
all the criticisms and responses are the exact same, and they have the same level of musical and lyrical talent, as well as originality
>tfw enjoy that album and albums like Oxymoron, but I always feel like a "wigger" or whatever when I listen to it
I like albums like Pinata because they're like windows into a different culture. Kinda neat IMO.
this album is so well produced, it's always a pleasure to listen to, especially after smoking. i could run through all the songs and not even know about it-great tracklist ordering.
just listening to this for the first time now...
reminds me of the Seer but I like this better... or maybe I'm just more used to drone music.
check out Antemasque if you haven't already
they're great but their albums show more promise than they actually deliver...
top 4 favourite of mine
only discovered this the other week but it's fantastic
reminds me a little of a more upbeat joy division.
the crescendos in LYSF aren't even why it's good, you know that right
its okay to be pleb but you could've at least picked the right album if you wanted to do so
I've listened this album so much that I don't remember how many times I've listened it in my work.
Coil is an obession to me as well, I think them thanks to the remixes on Fixed by Nine Inch Nails.
It's just like it was when I was 14, but now with much more sadness
I really don't understand why I seem to be the only one.
Fuck it's great, and I love his brutal Christianity.
I'm getting on that live show right now. And now that you mention it, I should start looking into tickets too.
I called dialasong like two weeks ago. I should really keep up with it because I love that stuff.
