Time for a new round of posts, folks.
>minimalist/atmospheric folk, some freak folk
Thanks for listening and downloading guys. I'm putting the finishing touches on new stuff right now
>minimal/industrial techno and IDM with influences of dub, drone, glitch, and harsh noise.
>noise, power electronics
>Influenced by Pan Sonic, and the like
>shoegaze, post-punk, noise rock, pretty chill, CDs available
How is everyone doing? I'll try to stick around and listen to the ones I haven't heard before.
Everyone try to leave feedback on each other's music!
>melancholy bedroom folk with intricate fingerstyle guitar
New live EP thing here:
I like the first one, good noise textures, and the beats are very minimal in a cool way. The second track (and all the others) seemed extremely loud compared to the first one, so you might want to look into changing that (unless it was intentional).
Noise isn't really my thing, but this did seem a little bare. Have you ever tried adding more musical stuff in the background and letting that interact with the harsh noise?
Wow, from skimming a few minutes of the first track this sounds great. Is it yours?
Impressive guitar work, is it just one track? Sounds like it. I like the lyrics too, very heartfelt. Keep it up!
Any constructive criticism is appreciated!
>lo-fi, cold, scuzzy, slow.
To be honest this was more of a test than anything else, both of these are cut from a 3 hours stream i did so its all improvised. I actually do more ambient music than noise, but I do understand what you mean.
>Female fronted synthwave/darkwave/new wave, new EP with track about the snow, remixes, and a Sisters of Mercy cover, buy a cassette
Just reccing some dudes from California. I'm booking them up north this Summer.
Put this together last night. This is beautiful music right here folks
>something for everybody, good old fashioned hard rock for dad, rap music for the blacks, indie folk christmas songs, a noise track if you like to get good and edgy. This extended play has it all!!!!!!!!!!!
That's a very rude thing to say
you seem like a mean angry person
do you know what will lift your spirits and make you feel good?
The new Cameron Clarke extended play of course!!!!!!!
>dreampop, shoegaze, experimental
DFoH was done with the help of Polysemy
And coming soon is our new album with Efferat, which will be more towards noise pop shoegaze.
And some solo material of our lead singer
>acoustic pop, ambient, vocal layers
Ya I get that it's glitchhop but I can pretty reliably predict where you're going to use it and it makes its usage get kind of boring. I like these glitch effects and stuff in general when they're more surprising.
The composition in general's really nice though, especially the first two tracks.
i can see where he's coming from. if it was used on maybe 1 or 2 tracks it would work, but it gets to be an annoyance that draws attention away from the music to the point all im really hearing is when the music cuts out do to the sidechain.
mmm. thanks for the input man. idk i just use it in a similar vein as a standard kick drum so I guess there's a level of predictability there. I'll keep that in my mind when I'm working on new stuff. do you have music I can listen to?
jeez! I didn't know everybody hated the sidechaining so much
I'm surprised no one said anything said it before. I actually worried i was using it too much but I still liked how it sounded lmao. well thanks for letting me know guys! ill pay more attention to how I use them
i don't hate the sidechaining. i dislike how it's used. if it were not used so casually it could have quite an effect on the tune. but being that you just slap it on nearly every track with little to no automation it just becomes stale and dull, taking away from the overall quality of the tracks.
>I didn't know everybody hated the sidechaining so much
lol like the other guy said, it's really distracting. Wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't a really nice melody underneath it. Still good stuff though
>Glitch, IDM, Ambient, Breakcore, Other
Just released a new EP a few days ago
>drone, krautrock, noise, ambient, weird pop
check it out, new release in a few weeks
>monkey ball arcade cabinet in your attic straight from 2002
>also hip-hop beats
>music can be a meme
>dark ambient, drone, ambient, spacey music
>electronic, dark synth-pop, ambient, noise
>experimental, conceptual, minimalist, transformative
Experimenting with making an "out-there" album. A lot of different styles under the same concept, so it might be on the esoteric side.
>ambient, drone, glitch

>Vaporwave meets space ambient
>experimental hip-hop // hip-hop

Love the moods this gives off, definitely rec.
They also do my favorite thing that Bandcamp artists can do which is recommend other artists.
The amount of Eastern European music I am finding now makes me very happy.

>Alternative R&B/Dark R&B
Hi fellas, just released my Alternative R&B EP. Would love to hear what you think, especially about the songs that haven't been released already as singles. Thanks for everyone who has given me feedback during the last two months and helped me with this process, I'm grateful beyond measure.

>rock, unmixed single, 90's
our first shit record
>>creepy music from the UK
Back on the BC thread with a new album, would love to hear what you think of my new direction! Will be looking at others when I get the time and giving feedback!
>lo-fi alt indie whatever recorded in my bedroom on a shitty headset mic
>first song is getting recorded in a studio proper soon
>second song is brand new (not the band)
Hey I make tunes in my bedroom! I'm getting better at it and hope to release more by the summer, until than here are some older not as great but still pretty good tunes. I hope you enjoy what is often described as swampy synths!
>Ambient, Dreampop, Bedroom pop, Drone, Synthpop
Interesting stuff I like track 3
This is interesting, I'm conflicted upon how i feel about it
i wouldn't call this french house but it's some form of house, it reminds me of a sort of Hotline Miami b-sides collection
Hey congrats on being on Business Casual, great label
I love your spin on the vaporwave genre
I love the track:
"警告!着信巨大宇宙船!" I'm downloading for later listen
I love the artwork, and the whole feel of the project, it reminds me of early 2000's emo and makes me nostolgia for bands like American Football and Texas is the Reason!
Keep up the good work
reminds me of pinkerton, so much angst, it's really inserting I can't wait for more!
>>54128714 here, thanks a lot! Sometimes I worry that it might sound too similar to Weezer, but I sorta lean towards writing like that and people seem to like it, so I guess I should just keep rolling with it.
Like your stuff man, it's pretty chill. Also, is that a J Mascis JM you have?
>acoustic bedroom folk with tapping guitar technique
This is really good
>alternative rock, shoegazing, lo-fi, experimental
It is! I love it, it's always the center catches peoples eye, and it also sounds super nice, and the fret board is matte on the back so it's wonderful to play on. My only problem is that the whammy bar is fucked, and when I say that it I mean it doesn't have a locking mechanism, so if you're playing something whammy heavy like MVB, it'll fall out. But other than that it's solid and I recommend it.
experimental hip hop/ boombap
Always loved how the JMJMs sounded, with the hotter pickups. I've got a Squier VMJM that I've modded the fuck out of (maple fretboards 4 lyfe), I prefer to my MIJ Jaguar. Everything I've recorded has been on that Jazzmaster.
Yeah, the locking trems are better than the cheaper ones that come standard on the Squiers, it's a mod I'd recommend.
