Noise Pop, Dream Pop, and Blackgaze also welcome here.
I've really been enjoying these lately. In Her Gentle Jaws is especially great, reminds me a lot of some of The Radio Department's stuff.
Does anyone know if the new Swervedriver album leaked?
OK guys. I liked every release from Whirr EXCEPT Sway. Now I like shoegaze because it's noisy and has subtle melodies, but this album seriously just sounds incredibly loud and totally devoid of melody. Am I missing something?
P.S. I miss the chick vocals and I think King Woman might be the better band despite such a gay name
just gonna post that chart for anybody interested
So a friend told me my band is dream pop and I vehemently disagree. Back me up, guys. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okLcFl2P7RA
What do you guys think about this album?
And is there anything similar to this?
Anyone else listened to Airiel's Winks and Kisses EP's?
I goddamn love a few o them, especially this one, Dizzy. It was the first one I got and I have super vivid memories to a few of the songs on it. Really nice shit if you like easy-listening shoegaze. Though all 4 EP's (Dizzy, Melted, Frosting, Crackled) al sound way too similar. Dizzy is the best.
But the Battle of Sealand sucks whale dick.
