this is a bad feel actually, i've always thought i want to do math or engineering for living, disregarded books and other culture works. and now here i am, sick of my major, with no hopes to change
i am an art student and get called pretentious on this website a lot. some of my current favorites are david borden, cukor bila smert', this heat, koenjihyakkei, zs, steve reich, robbie basho, and 楽しい音楽
>tfw will never be an art student
>tfw work on a farm
>I listen to free-improv, obscure proto-punk/proto-indie, and abstract electronic.
Lol I'm studying Computer Science and still go to History of Art lectures. You don't need to be studying art to know how 'culture works'. Being an uncultured swine is your choice only.
i know, i became aware of it just recently, but working through it from scratch is hard, especially when you have lots of work for school. also in my country unis doesn't work that way, we have only classes related to major
>will NEVER pay it back
>literally 0 consequences
>nobody even gives a fuck about the tuition fees
Sure feels good to live in a superior country. Though being a continental with no fees at all would be even better.
As a pretentious art student Ill respond with my own tastes
A bit of classical (especially Beethoven, Wagner and Chopin), a lot of progressive rock and post rock, (Pink Floyd, GY!BE, Slint...), whatever you call the Mars Volta, Giles Corey, Have a Nice Life and such post-depression bands and bleeps.
