it's friday, /bleep/. How you feeling?
pretty good, m8
what's everyone doing tonight then?
i'm going to this. should be fun. love man like murlo and man like spooky
anyone else gonna be there?
Probably because the government want to do everything they can to move away from the alcoholic stereotype we got going on, so they try restrict everything. We cant buy booze in off licences after 10pm either which is buttfuck retarded. Not to mention how expensive beer is and they're trying to jack up the price even more.
There's usually some rave on in a warehouse a bit out of the city that'll keep going through the night but you have to get a bus to get to them so its not ideal.
Even worse than that is down in Cork most places close doors are 2.30
All my m8s are going to CMYK in Notts tomorrow so I'm going as well. It's subsoul so I'm standing by for the music to be shit but it'll be fun
It's a bit shit if you're still buzzing your tits off though. At least until you can light up.
Few of my mates are going to CMYK too. Are you the same guy I've spoken to on here before?
I'm going to Original Flavour on Saturday instead, Klose One is headlining which I'm not that bothered about but Terror Danjah b2b Champion should be sick I reckon.
I'm actually Congo Natty irl
>jungle was a mistake
p.cool, now the devs should make another app
>the after chill is like the best bit if youre still fucked
Depends how much weed you have. If you have loads it's fucking beautiful, gets trippy as fuck as well.
>Are you the same guy I've spoken to on here before
Yeah man. I know a few people going to that, should be good. Still a bit annoyed I didn't go to Hessle Audio last month tbh
GOAT of all time
Here's a few labels I like to keep up with.
>Fade to Mind
>Tempa (still putting out a decent tune here and there)
That's one of my favorite albums ever.
However as far as Hyperdub goes though, I really really really will never understand the appeal of Burial.
Darkstar - North > anything Burial ever made.
Oh come on. He's the artist that got the label recognized. He's their most popular artist. Also, there was a time when Burial releases were literally 60% of what the entire label was putting out. For a while, Hyperdub was The Burial Show. It's good they're starting to move on.
Deep Medi Musik
Ice Cream Records
Nice N Ripe
Planet Mu (sometimes)
Lit City Trax (sometimes)
Ruff Sqwad Recordings
Roll Deep Recordings
No Hats No Hoods
A.R.M.Y + sub-labels
Slew Dem Productions
North is heck of an album. Quarantine was else too wasn't it.
Better not mention Burial if you don't like him. That's just asking for trouble. I love him tho, every release is at least a 8/10, and Moth with Four Tet is 10/10 best bleep ever.
Ah shit how did I forget them, they were my favourite label from last year and the year before.
And I'd say they are actually a true UK Bass label in the sense of what that termed tried to encompasses because they release Dubstep, Grime, UK Garage and some newer UK shit like Wonky or whatever the fuck the kids are calling it.
Agreed. However my favourite covers out of any label I listen to are the covers of Locked On releases. Also Locked On > Keysound.
holy shit ive been watching this for 10 minutes and the MC has been going non-stop about 'are you ready to party' 'say heey yaa/noisia everybody' 'lemme see them hands in the ear'
lmao i just feel uncomfortable watching it
not like the tunes they play these days are anything but still, lol @ the crowd
Protip: MCs have never been good ever, even people who go to raves will tell you this.
That set was actually much better than I was expecting it to be. The actual place looks quite shit though.
get in, nuff rocket fuel about
muh i cant hack mcs bc im a fat nerd wehhhh
£25 on the door for Ben Klock tonight at subclub... fuck that, clubs need to stop making prices so ridiculously high.
I get Ben can't be cheap to get for a night out these days but that is insane
Lolololol stop think that a music is better than an other, every music is good, wherever it was born. You American people are fools to think that way, that's why you fail. And the guy who push the djing into mainstream is David Guetta, which is French, and from that euro trash as you call it.
Can someone link me some top tom & Jerry releases safe lads
