Help me out here, my music library consists of the smiths, the cure, the arctic monkeys the list goes on and on and most of the lyrics are pretty sad.
What's some positive music I could listen to? Already started a playlist, so far it contains RHCP, the war on drugs, qotsa and infected mushroom.
this is as happy as it gets. it may take a while to get used to, OP, especially since you seem to be way too focused in guitar rock music and because people have a bad opinion of j-pop, but it's great.
Christian music is pretty easy listening and happy, although you have to get past all the boring praise music to find anything good.
a female housemate used to listen to it all day, don't know any specific artists but it just sounded awful imo
I liked it, way better than their previous albums
Bomb the Music Industry, The Smith Street Band, Nana Grizol, Fang Island, TWIABP, Motorama, Tame Impala, Future Islands, Listener, some Titus Andronicus too maybe.
There's plenty of chill/happy (mainly) instrumental music too. Nujabes, Tycho, Vondelpark.
>Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix
>Love Like A Sunset
'Rome' is probably one of Phoenix's saddest songs. The lyrics are absolutely heartbreaking and on par definitely with some of Arctic Monkeys' sadder songs.
Disregard this chart OP, if only for the inclusion of that album.
Don't even get me started on 'Love Like A Sunset.'
Torche is essential uplifting spring/summer music. I mean look at that cover, its like a happy sugar rush personified.
