So, the last Soundcloud thread got splayed by DJ Dubbi and his lust for attention. So, to prevent that from happening a 47th time, try your absolute hardest to swallow your stinking pride and ignore him, despite what he says about your work.
Man Made Origin
You know the drill; actual feedback trumps 'recs.'
i just finished my EP for my thesis and im looking for feedback
>ambient, space music, drone, meditative
The closing track to my first full length LP.
Love the middle eastern vibes in this track, and the vocals are extremely well mixed. The production is massive and foreboding, creating a great atmosphere which combined with the guitar and drums make for a great track.
Posted in the other but this seems newer.
Quick song, would love any feedback I can get.
>lofi, live, punkrawk, grungy, alternative rock
I checked you out at about 1am. I was speaking to you on one of these threads and I never got back to you as my laptop died on my but, at about 3pm today I left a comment on your song. It's fantastic by the way. There are so many bands that try to make space-like music and it's so typical, long and boring but, your song is terrific. Have you listened to the Interstellar soundtrack at all? Because, Andromeda would not sound out of place on that album, it's fantastic. Thanks for making music. Seriously, keep it up. Where do you get your artwork from?
Feels a bit empty. Lo-fi is a lot of things, but it shouldn't feel empty. Try adding a fuller sounding synth and making your riffs hit the down beat more often. Also, try adding some more melodic vocals in the background every now and then. If you can't sing very well, it's fine. It's lo-fi. They can be as out-of-tune as you want as long as they're there.
No I actually have not listen to the interstellar soundtrack, I havent actually seen the movie either. And All the artwork I create myself, I do alot of ink and pen drawing on the side which i often use are art. Attached is another example.
>Smooth beats, funk, hiphop
I'm really enjoying this. Nice work. Production is solid.
Not a huge fan of this type of music, but I like what I hear. Some really intricate stuff going on in these songs. It's also really calming. I'd really mostly work on adding more substance to the songs.
This sounds great. The drums in some of the songs could stand out a little more, but overall, it's nice.
This is cool as fuck. I don't know why I like it so much, but I do. The drums are nice. I don't usually like lo-fi stuff, but this is good. Could do with a little less of the vocal stuff though imo.
I see, thats really not good, i would like if people actually followed you on soundcloud. i hate when someone posts on a thread with no absolute intention of giving feedback. whats your soundcloud?
I've gotten that we're boring before. I disagree, but since I'm making the music, I'm a bit biased. Any ideas how to spice up our sound a bit?
Working on a bootleg of "Aqueous Transmission" by Incubus. I'm adding electronic elements and a couple glitchy "drops". No transitions into said drops yet, though. One's at 3:40.
>Hip Hop Instrumentals
>Instrumental Hip Hop
SMOOTH AS FUCK THIS IS BABY MAKING MUSIC
I'm honestly having trouble thinking of any criticisms. It get a bit repetitive I guess, but it just sounds so sick that I don't even care. Love this.
Are you eventually going to rap over it or will it stay an instrumental?
Show me your new shit.
Returning all feedback on SC!
Thank you, and I understand what you mean, considering I used to specifically make drone and dark ambient. I am working onto getting an actual mic and using it to get real field recordings, since I love taking audio and fucking around with it. This track was actually all done live, all I did afterward was edit the audio slightly as it was originally 20 minutes and fix the mixing a bit.
Will return ALL feedback
this is gonna be one of the last days i post in here for a while. when i come back it will be with new stuff! enjoy this gif.
I dig it. This sounds really good. You could maybe condense the songs a bit, but as a punk I'm biased towards extreme brevity. I wouldn't say this is boring.
this shit is disgusting, in a good way.
