Because she's a stupid sheltered suburban cunt that has nothing better than cause drama. This is literally all she'll have to look back on at the end of her life and she's milking it for all it's worth.
>a blog post has significant cultural implications
maybe today someone gives a shit about it, but this isn't even disguised as something worth reading. the title gives away the author's prejudice from the get go.
That's not the point:
The point is:
1) Why would Pitchfork allow someone like this, with no significant area of expertise, with a history of obsession with prejudice and racism towards white people to write on behalf of their brand as a freelancer?
2) If Pitchfork is willing to publish articles like this, then its obvious they have deep embedded political agenda, which has likely altered a number of their reviews and other opinion pieces, thus having a greater effect on music culture
3) If this continues, are artists who don't fit the site's political views and quotas likely to be phased out, regardless of quality and ability?
another fav screencap (the link is someone posting that collage of her racist tweets) >>54643594
>If Pitchfork is willing to publish articles like this, then its obvious they have deep embedded political agenda
This is starting to smell a lot like what happened with Kotaku etc when they conspired with other sites to claim gamers were the devil.
Wasn't it a british girl who ran those articles too?
You have some really fucking low standards for white if this is white
>1, 2, 3
these days, literally every "news" website uses bloggers (ie. non-journalists) to write opinion pieces for them. it's not likely that p4k has an agenda beyond getting pageviews, and hosting blog posts like this is a great way to "start the conversation" (which is the website owner's way of saying "start the moneytrain"). in the current internet media ecosystem we can't trust websites, we have to trust people. always look at who wrote what you're reading, not where it was published.
..Are you serious? For your information she is Indian and she does not look white at all.
Geez you probably live in some shithole where 99% of "white" people are mutts with brown eyes+brown hair if that is even close to passing for white to you
>these days, literally every "news" website uses bloggers (ie. non-journalists) to write opinion pieces for them
I know, but in this case this isn't just a critical opinion on a subject, it's blatant racism from someone with no pedigree in music journalism.
It's one thing to write about the oppression of women and black people, it's another to literally come out and say Stuart Murdoch is racist by proxy and that white people are a problem. Especially when it comes from someone with a clear history of racism and obsession with white people.
I'm not inclined to take offence at these tweets, but I'm pretty sure if anyone posted stuff this incessantly about black people, no one would let them hide behind the idea that "it's all just a joke!"
NEW COMPILATION PIC THAT ISNT 235235mb, save and spread!
>hate this fucking shitskin racebaiter
>one of her overall top artists on last.fm is my favorite band, guided by voices
Don't get me wrong, it's a good thing whites hold the power because it's a damn certainty that no other demographic would do a better job with it
Not saying whites are perfect but it's the least evil
I wouldn't be suprised if she knows pic related. Both britbongs.
>she keeps talking about how much she dislikes white people
>one of her top artists is Guided By Voices
Gamergate kicked off after a whole bunch of top gaming sites basically called gamers the devil. They all exclaimed "Gamers are dead" headlines within a couple days of feach other.
They attacked their own core audience. Then the gamers started digging up info on the journos (and their relationships with gaming companies) and it all snowballed into a shit storm.
Leigh Alexander (a black british female game journalist) was a key player in the beginning of the whole gamergate thing apparently.
Basically all her most listened to artists are white
It's pretty clear she is just envious as fuck that she isn't a pretty white woman, it probably angers her to no end when she sees hot guys buying drinks for pretty white girls or doing any other favors that indicate sexual interest
Then the mainstream narrative of the whole thing was twisted into "gamers hate women" due to that retarded five guys shit. People seriously need to stop trying to associate this with that or the same thing will happen. This is about Pit hfork and how they paid a racist to write an article attacking the race she undeniably hates. They should be ashamed.
There is literally billions to be made.
It's a lot easier to make those billions if you have the gaming sites in your pocket and can manipulate the audience to buy your garbage.
That's what gamergate was all about.
It's less about video games and more about SJW's lying, bullying and being as oppressive as they blame others (mainly straight white males) for being.
It's happening everywhere, gamers just got fed up with it and called them on their bullshit.
>be a fat ugly shitskin with disgusting eyes
>listen to only white indie
>really wish white indie bros would want to fuck her but they all think shes nasty
>become bitter as fuck and anti white
The whole "Unbearable Whiteness of..." thing should have tipped everybody off from the beginning. Seriously, google that phrase and you'll see she's one of many many writers who have used that pun. It's hacky as shit, just like her, and therefore nobody should be paying any attention to said hack. It only validates their work.
Indian culture also has a very strange fascination with white people, many Indian women are obsessed with looking and acting white. There's a product sold over there that lightens the color of their vagina to look like a white woman's. There is a lot of deep-rooted psychological shit going on here.
It's easier to listen to music while avoiding the industry, but yeah I would stand by that.
Though music is a timeless art form that actually matters in the world, so it's not really comparable
Looking fairer is a big deal in every culture and has been since long before they were widely exposed to white people.
I mean, Indians do have weird issues with white people, but lightening their own skin doesn't have a lot to do with it.
>Seriously, google that phrase and you'll see she's one of many many writers who have used that pun.
These writers have obviously conspired together across multiple sites then. Looking more and more like how gamergate started.
Can we get P4K taken down for posting such a racist article?
This seriously triggering me, and obviously all of you.
It has no purpose other than to spread hate.
P4K must be held accountable.
