CASSETTE OUT T O D A Y
I have to fucking share this oh my fucking god this is hilarious, check out this try hard. He goes by Foliage and he has his head so far up his ass it's actually quite sad. He usually posts in these bandcamp threads and is renowned as a massive pleb
>hip hop, cloud rap, instrumentals
It is all just bass and vocals.
My friends and family.
He seems like a pretty cool guy. I mean we all want people to hear our music. Folliage has done that. His new album was really good in my opinion too.
This guy is good. I like him
This is mine
Let me know what you think about it.
You posted this on /fa/ in a lunarcore thread once lol, I like it
My shit, just released a new album a couple days ago, hope you all enjoy and I'd love to hear feedback!
>organ, chamber, ambient
>15 songs recorded over three years
>indie folk / indie pop / psych folk / lo - fi
Demo EP been out a little while now, 20 minutes long, evil and cold from start to finish. Raw production. Working on new stuff, but won't be released for a long while.
This my Alternative R&B EP that I released about a month ago. I tried to create atmospheric and moody songs, with a dark vibe to them. People have seemed to enjoy them, tell me what you think!
If you want to hear my new single that I just released, it's on my Soundcloud page:
I will return all feedback as always!
new stuff coming soon! get hype!
reccing some of my friends
spit the butt out yung man!
>Minimal Techno, Tribal, Chiptune, Leftfield
your rapping sounds like it's all coming out in one long sigh. your beats are very nice. i like it when they're more dreamy like on clouds.
HO HO HO HO HO
no but seriously this would work better as pure ambient folk. i was really getting lost in it up until you threw the drums in on track 2. if you made them less harsh this would work, but as of now, it really tore me out of the experience.
there's just to little going on here. this really does sound like you just slowed some shit down and decreaced its pitch enough for it to be spooky. this is what people think of when they think of effortless bandcamp ambient.
Just released my first album yesterday, noise is probably the only way I can describe it.
Pic related, it's the album cover.
> black metal/experimental/post rock
>instrumental hip hop
Not sure if I'd describe that as ambient, dude. The piano sounds you use on the ones I listened to were way too MIDI, I didn't get any sense of atmosphere from the sounds you used. But the songwriting and composition is good, just not a fan of the timbres and stuff
I definitely get all the Grouper comparisons. Not a huge fan of how reverby the vocals are but I'm still gonna download it and put it on while I study.
I'm a sucker for another heavily panned so this is really cool. Not sure about the constantly mumbled vocals (on the songs I listened to at least), and the production really dulled it down a lot (especially on the vocals). I guess you're going for a more chilled vibe though so it works for that. I do enjoy it still
>Instrumental bedroom folk
>Pretty static banjo and guitar, some samples and stuff
Just put this online this week, would be nice to hear what people think
Pretty cool stuff. I like the second track, as I was hoping for a more black-metal-esque sound once I listened to a lot of the first track. I just realized that the last song is roughly 24 minutes long. I'm gonna be honest, I'm probably not going to listen to that one.
This is some pretty offensive stuff. The music's alright, but the overall aesthetic is pretty meme-heavy and not very nice to Transgenders. I feel like you put a decent amount of effort into something that you're not taking seriously, which is kind of confusing to me, but whatever, it's your life.
Goddamn this is awesome. These tracks are really cool. They really work as instrumental beats that I enjoy listening to on their own, which to me, is the best kind of hip hop instrumental.
This is hilarious. Just knowing that these songs are composed of slowed down fart noises makes me laugh. It's like a fine parody of ambient.
Holy shit this is fucking cool. This is the kind of band that I would love to be in. The fidelity is perfect for this style of music, too. Great stuff, and keep it coming. Are you guys planning on releasing something this year?
Cool songwriting. The guitar work on So Fortunate struck a chord with me right away. I'm not a huge fan of the vocals, though, as they're mixed way too quietly and the voice is weird. If you tighten up the production then you would have some killer songs.
Pretty good, dude. Your voice is fantastic, and the recordings seem to have an appropriate amount of reverb, which is nice. I'm not super into the lyrics, but they do seem appropriate for R&B.
I've listened to you before. I'm still waiting to hear some of your new shit in the future, whenever it's released.
Psyched to now be part of efferat :^)
>warped 80s synth pop/meloncholic lo fi ballads (lullabies 1&2, children)
hey guys gonna be lurkin for quite some time listenin to tunes and stuff and lettin ya know my thoughts, if my english is fucked its because it's nearing 3am here
This is rad man, I fucking love this. I got some smashing pumpkins vibes but I adore the 90's vibes in Ray. The fuzz in the guitar is fucking sick too man. I'll keep tabs on you man I like your shit.
These vibes man are seriously an encapsulation of my mindset right now. I'm seriously getting lost in the first track dude. You really worked around the sample really well man. You've made my night worth staying up for haha
I like the aesthetic!
Hey this is really nice, definitely downloading! Keen to hear more in the future
Oh I fucking love your music dude. I listened to you ages ago on soundcloud and I was really impressed by your songwriting ability and everything ability. I really enjoy how you layer your vocals in your tunes man.
I really enjoy your music man, you've definitely improved since I've last heard you dude. Keep it up man. Your vocals remind me of Velvet Underground. Your music really provokes this strange feeling inside me that I just can't put into words.
So catchy man, so very catchy. Really sick vocals dude. I am sold. *Slow hand clap* Fuck.
Dat artwork is amazing, and so is the music! You guise are the real deal. Sorta reminded me of some of Kings of Leons recent suff.
If I skipped ya don't get offended or think you're shit it's just the genres weren't ma cuppa tea. But seriously I was feeling so shit and after listening to a few of ya'll my spirits have been lifted so thank ye kindly. I'll keep posted.
>a whole adventure
as usual +rec as fuck. those 90's vibes are pretty great. somebody mentioned a smashing pumpkins sort of feeling and that's sort of accurate
surprised Wyndwood hasn't posted in here yet but if he ever does +rec he's my homie and his music is pretty rad if you're into the acoustic emo shebang
shameless self-promotion time. i made this.
>post-hardcore, hardcore, punk, melodic hardcore, screamo, emo
RIYL: touche amore, early la dispute, snowing, mediocrity
i’m not very happy with this but a friend of mine who sort of gave me pointers and advice and crticism when i was working on it died and after i finished it it felt like the right thing to do.
really craving constructive criticism on the production and lyrics more than anything.
also +rec on this, didn't see it in the thread somehow. "catchy" is a VERY good way to describe it. your lyrics are pretty great, too, i'm particularly fond of this line
"I thought I knew my shoe size
but first I need to learn to crawl
I thought that I knew my own strength
if only I had strength at all"
>my first album
>metro-ko, downtempo, dubstep, 2-step, underground hip hop, moody, chill, psychedelic, lonely

>made for a girl
>last release under the name Hiding Places
>i'll be under the name Osterman and my first mixtape will be released sometime this spring with Cherry Cardinal Hotel providing percussion
>foxes in fiction, boards of canada-esque
>cop a tape!
You opinion wont stop me from obtaining a bachelors in music at the greatest music school in california, and your opinion certainly doesnt make me any less of a guitar player, and your opinion doesnt make my electronic music any less better than yours. I am however impressed you listened to a whole album in 5 minutes. Thank you have a good day.
