Didn't see one up so decided to make one.
IT-XPO : 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM (PST)
Just released this today, would love some feedback. I wanted this EP to make you feel like you're losing something for the better.
Catchy short songs. The EP goes for 6 minutes in total.
I am sorry to say that I am not a big fan of this. But I am not a big fan of lofi in general. This is still pretty good.
It is some Eccojamish loops I made from 45's. Fastforward the 1st 4 minutes to get to them!
Just all layers of Bass and vocals.
I have heard and like these.
Stuff I made without a click track so it sounds off.
> stoner / experimental / noise rock / hue hue
Great music, looking forward to more
I love this album too!
My mate's shoegaze band, they're getting set to record their EP but this demo is pretty good too, plenty lofi. They are great live as well if you are situated in South Australia :^)
This is an EP of music I made in 2013 and 14. Following the glory days of metro-ko.
>Electronic, Downtempo, Sad, Metro-ko
>for fans of boards of canada, foxes in fiction, brian eno
and my own stuff
as a bass player i can dig this. very original
a little too melodramatic for me. but still catchy songs with some interesting layered vocals.
already heard and thoroughly enjoyed your stuff so reccing this. also did you do the artwork for sacred mountain?
not really understanding this but still kinda silly
this is actually really well done. i love the crazy frantic beats. kinda sounds like crystal castles mixed with atari teenage riot
>90's style memphis rap, horrorcore, elements of black metal
>my s/t EP released a week ago
Just released this cassette on my label. I'm not Smiling Disease. I literally think he's a lo fi god.
>trip hop (occasionally)
The Montaña sagrada artwork was made by Ricardo Cavolo, a spanish illustrator, he let me use it, you should check his other works
Thanks for hearing mine. I am listening to yours. I cant really comment on it because I am not a big fan of rap in general so I am sorry I cant give feedback. :/
>sample-based, ambient, nighttime music
My earlier stuff is way more vaporwave, currently putting out a new EP called Shut Switch. Would love feedback.
Very eerie, and peaceful. This is some good ambient work. I like it a lot.
This is my EP that I released recently:
Some ambient synthpop for the soul.
Compilation of music by the metro-ko alumni.
>Electronic, Downtempo , Metro-ko, Ambient,
Concept album written by me and my best friend about a series of fucked up experiences we shared together. Very near completion, just waiting on one track to be fully fleshed out. Also I have a poem that I'm debating breaking up into pieces and reciting over the course of a few spoken word interludes to fully finish the album.
Genre-wise, it's a mixed bag, I like to think there's something for everyone.
Hope you guys enjoy our personal story, and thanks in advance for tackling such a massive listen (it's roughly an hour long). All feedback and input is welcome.
>fun feels-y power pop, indie rock, three (and some four!) part harmonies
>influenced by 60s pop and 90s emo
New release, I hope you enjoy it.
> First Wave post-rock, Instrumental, Psychedelic, hints of western
Will return later to reply and leave comments
> drones & waves & loops
Check out and download if you like it!
>Last day of easter "name your price"
>code "easter" to get 70% off price
>art-rock, post-rock, instrumental, minimalist
Recorded this in a beautiful victorian house downtown in my city. Brings back good times.
Truth be told, I'm not entirely sure what I just listened to, but that was pretty good. The sampling in the first track caught me off guard at first, though, but now, I think I can say it's easily the track I enjoyed the most. Track 4's probably 2nd place.
Holy shit, the drums in Servant are fucking great. Wish I knew a guy like you in Melbourne.
Made me feel pretty uneasy (in a good way). Flow(er) was probably my favorite, but birdtones had a pretty nice flow as well.
This one was quite a trip. 8/10, made me turn my lights back on.
That cover of Who Do You Love was real solid. Whole album has a strangely cozy sound to it.
Fug, this was cool. These beats are crazy, and some of the samples just feel so out of place (in a good way). I can see this getting a fair bit of circulation on my iPod. Definitely don't have as much dance-punk as I'd like.
> arcadey type stuff
The album starts with some really aggressive tracks, but it sort of mellows out on the tail end. Just uploaded it a few hours ago.
lofi beats with jazz influence
just put out my second effort
basic dancemusic made in past.
pic is STUNNING AWESOME anime in latest mode of Japan
Modern Nomad - Collected EPs
>Surfy beach rock
This my Alternative R&B EP that I released about a month ago. I tried to create atmospheric and moody songs, with a dark vibe to them. People have seemed to enjoy them, tell me what you think!
If you want to hear my new single that I just released, it's on my Soundcloud page:
I will return all feedback as always!
Returning all feedback
>Minimal Techno, Chiptuney, Tribal, Leftfield
i will return all feedback
i dislike how the elements of glitch are sometimes incorperated into the loops themselves. it also feels like there is very little done to the source material at many points. that being said, the loops are incorperated back into the original sources well.
great cover art. i enjoy break oriented stuff like this to be faster in pace, but overall this is really good.
the synth track is really what kills this, it sounds completely random at many points, but just melodic enough that it doesn't let itself form any weird IDM beats.
don't make the percussion so cymbal heavy. that stuff gets very easily lost in such powerful synths as this.
> noise album with short tracks
One of my fav noise albums, it doesnt overstay it's welcome but it's still brute as hell.
Really like it, great example of the simpler emo
This is dreamy
Love it. I'm in Florida right now and it couldn't fit better
Here's my shit
Let me know what you think this is the first thing I've ever put out
>Experimental/Post Rock/Black Metal
First single on bandcamp, let me know what you think.
> field recordings
Probably going to press CDs soon
this is great! all the melodies are cool and the singing pretty great too! you just need to learn to better eq tracks so they fit together better
no offense though, but the artwork is awful. instagram with bad font and colour of the writing. also why is the mans eyes blacked out?
I do covers of Death Grips in the style of The Beach Boys, Johnny Cash, Morrissey and more.....
>electronic rock, noisy neo-psychedelia, experimental pop
this is fine, but nothing else. the moody vibe kinda has gone too far. thats not that important tho. whats important is how the entire song (I only listened to take it) sounds exactly the same, all the ideas for this song are just the beginning, you have to add a whole lot more to make it interesting.
>lo fi, bedroom pop
>basement emo pop, recorded to tape
this is really good. the main vocals jump up and down in volume tho, mix those better. bass needs to be louder. drums too simple. explore better guitar sounds. chords get a bit repetitive. everything else is great tho
just released the self titled album about a week ago. Just looking to get some feedback on my work. Hopefully you'll dig it!
>noise, power electronics, blackened ambient
first attempt on a project and i'm looking for some feedback. help a brother outttt
i agree that you could work on mixing a little bit too, but this is still one of my favorite albums from this year. the one-two punch of fair and perfect coils always nails me.
Demo EP been out a couple of months now. Raw production and evil sounds. Working on new stuff to be released as a second demo at some point down the line, with more bass, more atmosphere, and more black metal.
Try out these:
This guy is funny:
NOQ 9 - THR33~S!x 3RIFORCE (FULL ALBUM)
>NEW PROJECT HERE (instrumental demo):
>drone, experimental, art, soundscapes,
>indie pop / indie folk / psych folk
>15 songs from the last 3 years
>sample based noise
fractals was great
seems it's somewhat unfinished
the bright melody that comes in later is suited for a string instrument
the other which begin with the song are not
i would rather hear something less skinny such as a synthesizer with more mass
other than that, it is a pleasant skeleton with an okay cover
En sang av is, has a pretty nice build up
perhaps the "hums" could be less interfering but that is personal preference
cover is very good looking but i can not connect it to the music
some variations and less disturbing hum, i wanted to hear that underlying melody more
suffers from some lack of movement
very disgusting cover
very pleasant acoustic guitar on forever weekenders
the vocals remind too much of things i usually hear on my old radio, this is not a compliment
there's nothing to compensate or make me stay, the vocals are in focus and they are very hostile to my ears
nice clear acoustic guitar
happy this year is quite messy but that contributes rather than counteract
there's a great song here but it is unpolished
then again just as the messiness that might not be something you want to change
catchy, bland cover
foggy talkative one is
the texture is fascinating but it lacks movement although it does not stand complete still, it rocks back and forwards on its spot not really going anywhere
the texture is not to be underestimated
a very confused and unattractive cover, not confusing impression mind you
mort is very still
there are some nice covered bright tones that are interesting
it would benefit from clarity and less of those tick tack clockwork percussions
interesting sounds at around 4 30
suffers from too much mass
parts could be looped for horror projects
invoked nausea at the very end
>lo-fi, indie pop, video gamey stuff
>inspired by Julia Brown, starry cat, Soichi Terada
