My pants weren't ready for her new look
>would bang her, anyway
you mean you, a pathetic little creature, would have sex with st vincent if given the chance? that's really interesting and surprising. it's a good thing you told us
This makea me want White Hair Annie back.
Wow look at those robot dancers barely moving and absorbed in their imaginary iPhones I guess they're just like us apathetic and slaves to technology wow great message 10/10 art
Pretty sure this is another sort of leftover song from S/T. Can't wait to see how her and Wire will be during Drill.
I'm waiting for her to drop Congleton.
They're a "dance" ensemble.
Friendly reminder that David has a child already.
It's like she's promoting autistic behavior
She straight up annoys me now.
Her whole meaning behind the things she does is so devoid of substance.
Like the symmetry stuff she keeps shitting on about, it provides nothing.
Also the whole technology is evil shit is just over done Y2K is over you old fuck.
Also her whole choreography shit provides the viewer with nothing other than clutched feet cringing over how silly it is. Half of the shit she goes on about provides us with nothing at all and yet at every opportunity she gets she basks in how great she thinks it all is.
People argue that it's creative to move on from the baroque stuff she used to do but most of her music now is so bloody derivative it's boring.
It's not like she pioneered it.
Byrne's stuff had purpose that hers lack.
When Birth in Reverse was released. Maybe Love This Giant, but tons of people here loved Grot / Krokodil and that was released around the same time
Actor or Strange Mercy, then go forwards if you want more synthy art-pop or backwards if you want more chamber pop
Can someone explain the appeal of St. Vincent to me? Everything she puts out just seems so mediocre. I love female artists like Bjork, Julia Holter, Julianna Barwick, Angel Olsen, etc., but Vincent just seems so boring to me.
holy shit, this is new levels of bad. Nothing of this track stands out in any way. There is no emotion at all and the songwriting is kindergarten tier.
What happened to virtuoso annie ;_; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-24m-KRkn0
The timbres used is kinda subjective when talking about music. I'm talking about the way they make melodies. The melodies they make are strikingly similar in the way they flow with a more elusive rhythm than catchy pop tunes do.
>she was 24 when she released pic related
>she is 32 now
I actually only started getting into her a few days ago as well. I highly reccomend you to start off with Marry Me (which I deemed the best), follow up with S/T (to see where she starts to fall off), and the go for Strange Mercy to get more goodness.
If you go chronologically you end with her worst work, which would be too bad really, since that'll leave a bad taste.
