Post debut albums that you think are great. 8 - 10 range, kiddos
Yeah, I know most of you guys cream all over "Fields of Reed" but this one is fantastic too
Honestly I feel like every one of their releases has been 8+
Not even joking, this album is a 9/10 for me.
another underrated gem.
To date, still their best album.
You can't even argue with that.
good job anon, very much yes. I'm giving it a listen again.
Been my phone background for over a year now, killer release. They had an LP this year but it was a bit disappointing - still has some great moments but Infinity was just way too promising
If you can get past "She Blinded me with Science" its a great album.
yissss dats sum good shit. Check out Clever Girl.
inb4 death metal shite. If you can only bear one song, listen to Cerebral Hybridization.
this is probably to obscure to be considered for the list, but I've never heard anything else like it.
let's get this thread back on track
4 songs only though. I wasn't aware of it, however.
I play Kuedo while I read cyberpunk novels. Yes, I'm a nerd.
In terms of pic related, I'm not going to stick to the ideal that this album is a stone cold classic.. its not. But this album hold a lot of nostalgia for me when it comes to hanging with friends and smoking weed in my formative years as a teenaged knucklehead.

Is This It (2001–2002)
The Strokes released their debut album Is This It in the US in October 2001 on RCA after some delay due to changes made from the UK-released version (released August 27, 2001). The cover of the latter features a black-and-white photo of a gloved hand on a woman's naked backside, shown in semi-profile. The naked model on the cover was photographer Colin Lane's girlfriend at the time.
