Can I actually get a rate?
stoners / comedy / noise rock / aleatoric
Conceptual split album my best friend and I wrote about a series of experiences we endured together, told through a fictional narrative about heroes at sea, an enchantress of the water, a battle between friends, and finding one's way home after the storm.
Mixed bag of genres, I like to think there's something for everyone
Hope you enjoy, and if you can make it through the massive running time, it's sincerely appreciated, even if you don't buy it. It's our personal story and we just want to share it with people. Thank you in advance.
>Ode to the certain type of cognitive dissonance that occurs in the head of a rap fan who has come to the conclusion that he dislikes black people
That title sums up /mu/ pretty nicely.
Sinths are cool, put more effort on vocals and it will come out something cool I guess. Gone track is rad with those percussions and stuff, Personally I think it would be interesting to listen to other songs with more tribalish or acoustic percussions rather than digital beats, but it's something more personal.
It's cool as an EP, but it's not really "hooky" you know, this is far really personal, but I would add some lead melodie or whatever to some tracks.
Still diggin Gone. I hope you can use some of my feedback dude, keep up the good work.
Nice vocals. I like everything overall, exept the cover art.
Diggin the weird percussion thing on 3rd track.
It feels it lacks of mastering, but it's ok, I dig this and would rec. Downloading.
Never listened to your stuff before, really impressive. Diggin everything, especially the drums and fuzzy bass. Reccing hard.
Yeah I know, it's however inspired by this super racist dude I met IRL who was natsoc to the core but still listened to 50 Cent and Waka Flocka.
Tears Of Chronus - Beneath The Waves is amazing, you guys sure know how to string a song together. I think you'd really like the first track on my latest release, so if you'd want to check that out it would be really cool. Anyways, good luck!
>lo fi bedroom pop, songwriter shit
>FFO pavement, elliott smith
>dark emo pop recorded to tape
Thanks dude. Actually, Tears Of Chronus is just me, Reign Of Apollo is just my best friend. Tracks listed under my project name I wrote and recorded all instruments and vocals myself, same with his, and any with both our project names were mutual efforts (like Behind The Opaque). I'm super stoked you like it, though. I've seen your page posted but never took the time to listen, will be fixing this right now.
>minimalist melancholy piano
>Never listened to your stuff before, really impressive. Diggin everything, especially the drums and fuzzy bass. Reccing hard.
Thank you, I really appreciate it! Drug Dealers is a great song btw.
Tears Of Chronus here, I'm really pissed off at myself for not listening to your work before. This is fucking awesome. Stellar, gnarly riffage. This is right up my fucking alley, seriously. Downloading this for sure.
Hey, do I know you from somewhere? Don't you like make music for some youtube channel or something? Everything about your page and your music is super familiar to me.
Thanks dude, I appreciate it!
>drone, ambient, post-rock, field recordings and found sounds
All of these are god tier and I listen to them a lot.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank You. :)

This my Alternative R&B EP that I released about a month ago. I tried to create atmospheric and moody songs, with a dark vibe to them. People have seemed to enjoy them, tell me what you think!
If you want to hear my new single that I just released, it's on my Soundcloud page:
I will return all feedback as always!

>electronic rock, noisy neo-psychedelia, experimental pop
working on new music. here's a new song: https://soundcloud.com/maantis/mi-casa
check em out:
I just discovered this one. It's interesting and strange electronic music. It's got weird almost Internet dial-up sounds on a couple songs with pretty strong, defines beats. It's mostly pensive and atmospheric on the better songs.
>waves, drones & loops
i like the music, and i like those dubs
was hoping for more black metal. would have been fine with some vox
I like the overall atmosphere the album provides. will probably listen to it all the way through sometime

>pop, lo-fi pop, experimental pop, idk
just released a new track yesterday, cassettes of my last album "friend" coming soon on cellar door tapes:
really really weird, i love how it doesn't take itself too seriously. i love Trembling Mountain a lot. this sort of reminds me of a weird hybrid between the unicorns and the microphones. good stuff
on paper this is really cringeworthy but you somehow make it really charming/interesting, the synths are beautiful and for what it is i actually think you made the vocals at the very least "work", they're not an active hindrance to my enjoyment of this or anything. feels like you're really just being yourself and being funny lyrically, it's really bold and unique. you really should do name-your-price though, i would download and eventually donate if i found myself really enjoying it after a while.
ones i've heard/rec'd previously:
Most have compared my music to video game music, which makes sense since I'm heavily influenced by game soundtracks.
very good glad to see it getting attention in these threads
New 8 song full length coming next month? Older songs that I've had since 2013-2014. It's definitely going to be the most accessible and hi fi thing I've done to date. You'll be seeing it and hearing it when it comes out in these threads :)
3 song Blackgaze EP
4 song Ambient EP
Lo fi band I was in during Sophomore year of high school (I'm really proud of this album!)
amazing stuff. lyrically and instrumentally beautiful.
really enjoy your stuff man. gonna have to cop the tape when it comes out.
Hoarse EP is really beautiful dude. props to u, gotta check out the other links later.

>Hoarse EP is really beautiful
I've gotten some great comments on that release that I'm surprised by. I'm proud of it, but I'm still a little taken aback by the positive feedback. I made that album absently. I don't remember how to play anything off of it and I can't quite remember what was going through my head when recording it, so it has an extra mystery/otherworldliness to it, for me anyway cuz it doesn't feel like I made it.
Thanks for listening.
I'm listening to Laura Pointless now and I enjoy it a lot! Sort of in the same space of ambience that I seemed to create on Hoarse.
>Slice of life
unfortunately. Our vocalist put the words "anime, edgy, and red" into an art generator and got that. it was the best out of any of our searches and we dont watch naruto so it stayed.
i kind of feel the same way that you do about Hoarse in regards to lp. a lot of things about it were very sudden for me, most of the songs' were done within hours of starting them, a lot of them were older than that but still. the title was decided on the day of release, and so was the cover, it was originally gonna be pic related but i decided against it last second.
i feel like a lot of my music is about filling empty space, and being ergonomic. kind of a rinky-tink contraption based on the whims and needs of outdated consumers. sorry for rambling, i just like talking about stuff. glad you like it.
Holy shit, this is some of the best criticism I've ever gotten. Thanks for all the tips, and yeah I could do a lot better with the vocals. I would come up with the lyrics as the song was playing, they weren't pre-written.
Mainly I've just been messing around, but I'm actually going to try. Thanks again.
Also check out a song from my band's upcoming EP
The EP is just over 10 minutes, have a listen please.

I need help /mu/. A long time ago, in one of these threads, I found this album named "They Died To Save Us, So Why Can't You Die?", with the following album art, made by someone named "Swan Songs".
I'm trying to find the author of this album, since I downloaded it, and then the author's bandcamp page was deleted, and now there's some chicks' piano songs instead.
Is the author here, or does someone know the url to the bandcamp page?
>acoustic rock, dark melodic, grunge, alt, prog
>Industrial, Prog Rock, Noise Rock

Seen this tape a few times on reddit decided to check it out. Glad i did the beats are wild on this thing.
>trap, cloud rap, Dark
more interesting than most rappers. Guys got a great flow and trippy beats. Nice listen
>rap, r&b, Electro etc
This entire bandcamp is just full of weird shit I could'nt pinpoint anything in particular just go there and see for yourself lol
first album so its not that good
>janitors who delete BC threads that have been up for 2 hours

Hoarse EP is a beautiful piece of work. I really enjoyed listening to it. I'll play it in my car a few times and let it grow on me.
a feeling in your chest was wonderful. I feel like the reversed piano is almost a trope or cliched, maybe but it works great with the forward rolling piano
Huge fan of LP1. Was listening to it in the car yesterday. underwater sounds really awesome. the filters and delay work so well together in the opening track.
This EP is quite the bag of suprises. I feel like I've heard Rubber and Plastic before, but I know I haven't. This is some really good stuff. It's supposed to be somewhat grating, and I'm not the biggest fan of harshness, but I'm completely okay with this. Great job man.
recc these guys until the end of time:
>dark, melancholic ambient
Just finished this last night and uploaded a bit ago.
