Prelude/Paragons had a really cool intro, but your singing seems really bland.
The sound design is really cool, but I think your bass on Shine Cold Lights gets tiring. It's only one note. If it was different, the track would be stellar, but the bass is holding it back.
i dont have any work today, so ill check out some other stuff now.
A friends "hardcore" punk band, mostly just humboldt county kids that don't smoke, I like it though and I'm interested in unbiased opinions http://aleisterchrist.bandcamp.com/album/live-demo
I should have a new album coming out soon
>abstract, ambient, experimental guitar
>post-rock, drone, lots of loops and field recordings and found sounds n shit like that
>organ / ambient / chamber / drone
I'm currently working on a small acoustic album with a few acoustic covers and some originals, for now I just wanna share this particular track, my own interpretation of Agalloch's "Kneel To The Cross", with some influences from the original song written by Sol Invictus. I'm almost certain you'll like it, I did my best to blend elements from both the original and Agalloch's cover, while adding my own bluesy influences for something unique.
Releasing the full album through Burn Ward Records, keep an eye out for it :)
Getting mad Giles vibes from this.
The sort of music that's beyond sad and is almost hard to listen to. I don't mean in a bad way, just really challenging, like some Xiu Xiu where it's almost uncomfortable to be around.

Loving these guys:
I have no idea how to comprehend this. I like it.
This my Alternative R&B EP that I released about a month ago. I tried to create atmospheric and moody songs, with a dark vibe to them. People have seemed to enjoy them, tell me what you think!

we need the listens, we need the shares, we need the downloads. please guys its literally 2.5 mins long and we need this album to go viral. we need people to listen to our album. please listen to it. its short and we literally need it be popular okay so please give it a listen. its like 2.5 mins long okay surely you can spare that much time just listen to it and help it become viral please. please listen to it. we care so much about people listening to our album and if it doesn't become popular then what was the point in even making it right? we're sure fellow musicians will agree. so listen to it please and help us become famous. please
>cloud rap, shoegaze, spoken word
new video almost done, new single next month
Thanks! I usually find noise and hip hop pretty difficult to get into, but I can tell you definitely put a tons of thought into this album. I listened to the into and hit a random track and it was sweet. I'm grabbing a copy of it, gonna put it on shuffle and see where it takes me, as per instructions.
Ill check out everything else in the thread when i get out of work
>dino jr pavement modest mouse
>silver jews, dylan, elvis costello
It's crossed my mind that it might be some sort of social experiment to see how many listens they can get by outright pretending they want to just get famous, or by telling us they are literally only making music to be rewarded for it.
Legitimate post or not it didn't make me want to listen.
>if it doesn't become popular then what was the point in even making it right?
It must be intentional, no one has ever so succinctly said the complete opposite of what I think.
It's totally a social experiment. Any response to "fuck you guys" or hate or anything is just some picture of "love u bby" or some junk like that.
One solution? Download it, give him the "attention", delete it, and he has one less free download for the month. On the off chance that it doesn't egg him on, he might shut up.
I don't quite get when people listen to music ironically. I really don't understand irony that well at all. Another thing I don't understand is insincerely creating music or art (in our mostly un-paying underground scene). Is it really that much of a joy to irritate people or something?
> First Wave post-rock, Instrumental, Psychedelic, hints of western

This is some awesome stuff. I feel like I've been to your bandcamp before, but I must say Moon Drowning in a Frozen Lake is awesome. I just downloaded a good chunk of your page. Very cool stuff!
Thanks, man, I appreciate it!
Moon Drowning in a Frozen Lake was me running around with a recording device in dark wintry nights. Unfortunately, the portable thing broke and that release was my last field recording. I'll have to get a new one in a few months, I guess, and then I'll make some new things just from field recordings.
I just posted a soundtrack I was commissioned to do for this theater where I was interning if anyone's interested
>Folk, jazz, experimental, bossa nova, hawaii, 60s pop
