What's the verdict on Guiro Album edition.
Thought it was good, smooth, chilled and catchy as hell. Definitely would listen to again on a beautiful afternoon. The last 5 tracks were great.
Shouso Strip is better than Karuki Zamen Kuri no Hana
Also is this that the lastest meme album?
Sure thing: https://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/neutral_milk_hotel/in_the_aeroplane_over_the_sea/
Scroll down to the bottom, there is a list of users who rated the album. Click on page 920, it shows the votes on 24 december 2007. The last page is the 1151st one.
Considering each page consists of 15 votes, and between 920th and 1151st there are 232 pages => 3480 votes in total by 24th december of 2007.
That's a huge number of votes on RYM, and considering the site wasn't as popular back then as now I'd say it's even more significant of a number. The album was already popular, /mu/ isn't some special snowflakes place that somehow "discovered" it.
When I was in Japan 5 months back ago, I randomly picked a CD that they played in a Music store and bought it! Shit was goooddd, i usually dont listen to this indie rock(??)
The band's name is Gesu no Kiwami Otome
Kan Mikami - Onkashu: Hiraku Yume nado Arujanashi
I don't really like or listen to much trance but you can try Nhato, Kaito, and Prana.
Yeah she's really good. I think she makes very accessible stuff that makes for a good for entry into the traditional popular Japanese music forms
Mono/ Mono & World's End Girlfriend are probably the most 'essential'
gotta go to work now bye jmg
Listen to Keiko Fuji - Golden Best !! Really good
I love Sachiko Kobayashi too.
Meiko Kaiji, by the way, must be the most popular enka singer thanks to Kill Bill.
Sayuri Ishikawa has a done a lot of really good enka songs too.
hmmm yeah this clearly sounds like enka
Well, I guess that enka singing is a little bit different but even that sounds similar.
Just listen to enka, this is almost exactly like that
I went onto the last.fm post-school tea time page and messaged two people who had listened to it asking if they could upload it. I hope they upload it. I've never actually heard it before.
>on mobile so I'm pretty much fucked if I want to listen to new Japanese music
Why does this stuff have to be so good yet so hard to find? Copyright laws don't help, either.
