Checking folks out when I'm home
Like what I heard a lot, and the album cover, but I ain't paying for digital even if it is massive, so I dl up Let It Come Down
Heard your older stuff when it came out, always have to say how excellently mastered your stuff is
Also my band just released an EP…
>noise rock, industrial, too much reverb
Nah I hear ya man, it's obviously a lot of work.
Me personally I'd rather have 50 people listening to my music than 5 people listening to my album but $30 in my paypal account. Just my opinion
give these a listen aswell;
>art-rock, post-rock, instrumental, minimalist
sweeeet stuff. Downloading now that is name your price (I'm a poorfag, sorry man)
Thanks for the rec man. Never listened to your stuff before, I really like it, diggin the percussions on the first song, I want to do stuff like this in my next lp.
I asked /mu/ if I should make an album and the answer was not yes
>weird incompetence sounds

Vaporwave is dead.
Art is dead.
The only remaining art is noise plunderphonics created from the ashes of all music smashing against each other in a frenzied and gory car crash.
satire about TIdaL
> First Wave post-rock, Instrumental, Psychedelic, improvisation
NEW ALBUM OF FULLY IMPROVISATIONAL MUSIC, great jams with the band at the rehearsal: Zapadas (vol.1)
>gloomgaze, blackened noiserock, dark ambient, dungeon synth
About the album... I might scrap what I have to make a better album. So it's probably going to take longer than expected, but here's the neat cover I made for it
This is really nice
>experimental instrumental hip-hop
I picked this up yesterday. I can't really think of how to describe it, but I really enjoyed the first and last tracks.
Can't wait to hear it!
I can't recall if I've heard this before. You've got some great fuzzy drone going on. Perhaps considering layering clean vocals just underneath what you have already, the distortion (or just a filter) can almost be mistaken for a really low sample quality which I find off-putting. Cool sounding stuff, though.
>"A beautifully delicate and well constructed album that doesn't dwell, but manages to leave an indelible impression."
These are some great tunes, all its missing is some vocals and better drums
Definitely Mount Eerie influenced, but its still great, wish there was more songs tho
>lofi, bedroom pop, indie, idk what to tag it as
>Black Metal/Experimental/Post Rock
>Drone Metal/Noise Rock

Listening through the thread at the moment, will post feedback in a couple minutes
wow you guys post this same text in every thread well guess what I actually listened to the album and its bad. the titles are bad, the cover is bad, the songs are bad, its just a really poor album. i can't believe that you guys think this will make you famous. its bad. you post on these threads begging for fame and yeah actually I'm pretty mad about it. you guys don't deserve fame, but anyway that doesn't matter because this album won't even go viral. i humbly encourage all of y'all to download these divas album every time they post it so that their free downloads run out. lets do it. I'm actually laughing at how bad this is like omg i can't move. anyways yeah you guys should stop posting on these threads
new album preview:
>dream pop, psychedelic noise pop, shoegaze
Workin' on other shit right now, so who knows! Thanks for the interest though man
Got to pick me up a Cellar Door tape soon

>jangle, shoegaze, emo, lofi, black metal
love this shit man
i've seen you post a few times before, i really like the wyndwood album yhe Sheep enabler riffs are pretty killer.
finally! a black metal band that isn't just ambient music with shitty vocals thrown in on occasion. you guys are one of the first black metal bands i've found on here that has a pretty nice sound. the vocals remind me of in the nightside eclispe, but not as good. but still, gtting that comparison is a great achievement.
i like the atmosphere the instruments make but the vocals need to be mixed better
>hardcore, blackened hardcore
other bands on this page, so if you like grindcore, pop punk, or black metal you'll probably find something you'll like
Hi, this is my album, released just now
>Memphis pop rock
>new, but familiar sound
Thanks a bunch, man! And nw.
Big rec! Really enjoying this EP. You even have 14 scrobbles in my last.fm now. B)
Thanks for the kind words! The thing with the vocals is that my mic really does sound like shit, so in order to make the vocals not be the only poor-sounding thing in the mix I just distort the fuck out of them to kinda still make them blend in the whole drone aesthetic. I know it sounds like a poor excuse, but that's really all I can do for now until I get a better one. You're not even the first one to criticize that part, haha.
can you elaborate a bit better? do you think the vocals need to be louder or EQ'd/mastered differently, or both?
i tried the method of just setting up a condenser mic in the middle of the room and just yelling because my favorite "screamed vocals" album of all time (touche amore's first LP) did that and i loved the sound of that
if you have any specific methods you'd try for a vocalist literally just yelling/screaming throw em at me
i dont really know what to tell you man, i'm shit at editing. it just needs more boom to it. it's a little in the back of the recording. they sound good, just need more of an impact
thanks for the feedback, regardless
i've taught myself basically everything i know about production and i guess i'm still learning so getting feedback from other /mu/sicians is the best thing
I'll make it clear. This is our new album of improvised experimental rock jams
>vaporwave // nu-disco // chillwave // dance
>hip-hop // experimental hip-hop
Youtube channel for all music videos/update/etc.
Like the facebook to show ur support, idc about buying albums I just wanna be able to get in touch with my fanbase through facebook
Got the new studio setup so we broke its cherry by setting up a podcast that I'd like to get some of you guys on :D
i listened to the first two and liked that they werent overwhelming, but i guess im not too far into the noise/drone genre.
i liked this. the lofi fuzz to it works well with the energy and over feeling of the song. perfect coils was cool too. dl'ing this
i wasnt liking recursive lines too much but i dug secular words. the sample is cool plus the beat behind it makes it seems like its being dragged out. I dont know that song sounded cool.
there were some parts overall i guess i wasn't to into but it did have some good moments.
this is so good. the fuzz works well and this is some drone i can actually get into. the first song was dark and almost physical in how thick it was. dl'ing this.
some of the songs sounded cool but verall i wish there was more going on in the song. but thats just me.
>all the songs are 0:07
wut. i thought i was having a stroke. then i kind of wished i was having a stroke. so good job.
ive listened to your stuff before and youre still kicking ass.
i liked this. i wish the vocals were louder though. alittler more powerful in the mix. but there were some good moments in this. particularly that recurring, rolling drum beat in the first song, thats a nice build up.
nice, twinkly emo stuff. this is my shit. ill be checking out more of you guys for sure.
This is a very short (almost an ep) album that me and a couple of other people just put out. it has some emo elements in it for sure. were just looking to get people to listen more than anything. feel free to give us some feedback too, we could always use that.
>emo maybe, el paso, texas
The rec gang are the people that made these threads more than a ghost town by posting lots and talking to each other before bandcamp threads got popular, so while you'll won't ever be a true member of it, feel free to thank them for their hard work in making these as populated and successful as they are today though
It's just so they're not ignoring each other I guess.
A lot of them review newer people too though. But yeah some people don't bother which is a shame, for new artists and themselves, because there's amazing new music posted in these threads every day
thanks a ton for the feedback! the vocals seem to be the #1 issue most people have with the EP so i'm gonna work on those for the next release
and thanks for singling out particular moments you liked as well
Debutante (>>55492118) here!
Thanks a bunch! B)
Well, I only really give 'automatic recs' to people whose work I genuinely really enjoy. If I listen to something but don't find it too great, I at least try to give them some constructive critique. It's a give-and-take kind of deal, really. Can't expect people to check out your stuff without at least checking out theirs first.
That there's circlejerks is kinda understandable though, people probably check out mainly artists of their favourite genres and get crits from those back etc etc, you know?
And yeah, there's hit-and-run kinda guys like Foliage or people that obviously never really listen to other guys and just randomly pick 'recs', but those guys are super transparent and nobody sane really cares about them to start with. (And if you do, please just start ignoring the hit n runners, honestly)
I'm probably all over the place in this post, it's 2 AM and I just got back from a p tiring night out soz
>drone, experimental, ambient, electronic,
>pretty much all the time give feedback
>get called a 'hit-and-run' kinda guy simply because I can't stay in a thread without getting meme'd on
Bandcamp threads really do suck now.
>post-rock, shoegaze, emo, ambient
Demo/Debut sefl-titled EP
>progressive electronic, ambient, strong melodies/rhythms
Me solo project. Debut EP, 1st single from upcoming LP.
Thought these were just cool soundscapes, then that groove kicked in. I really dig it. Creative use of samples. Nice work man. Reminds me a lot of the recent Windows98 release.
Wasn't too crazy on the VHSex stuff, but I dig the Nagasaki Night Club. Great mix of vaporwave and hip hop. I kinda wished they were longer and had more prominent vocals. You've got some good ideas on this project.
The songs in this project are great compositions, but they suffer from poor mixing, particularly the drums and vocals. I love the blues influence on these tracks man. Digging it.
This is weirdly catchy, and I'm really enjoying it. Nice stuff :)
>The songs in this project are great compositions, but they suffer from poor mixing, particularly the drums and vocals. I love the blues influence on these tracks man. Digging it.
Thanks. They're actually recordings made with a portable digital recorder placed in the middle of the rehearsal room. No mix at all. Just the sound of the rehearsal room as is. And they're not even compositions. All improvised
Both excellent been listening to these releases recently
New post punk/alternative rock full length probably coming out May or June? Sometime this year. I'm excited for it's release.
Here are some EPs I released in February that I'm really happy with.
Thanks for listening!
I love this. Going to be listening to this regularly for the next few weeks.
Nice, I like the vox continental (?) sounds
Reccing the fuck out of this
I love this vibe.
Really good production, I like this a lot
Wow, I wasn't actually expecting something this good. I fucking love this.
Nice and noisy. Well done m8.
