Returning & giving feedback on soundcloud. Thank you.
> v a p o r w a v e(?) sample-based, 80's synth pop
Any feedback welcome.
I just remastered my Alternative R&B single that's been out for three weeks. The original aim of the track was a moody/trippy vibe with some haunting undertones. I adjusted the levels of the hihat, that was something that most people pointed out when giving feedback. Do you feel like the hihat sits in the mix better? How does the track sound now overall?
I'll return all the feedback!
i will let this here

Covered Tom Green's "Salmon Song" for laffs, will be available as a bonus track on my upcoming bluesy acoustic album Quarry To My Conscience as a pallet cleanser, if you're into dumb shit like that. Check it out.
Concept EP about a plane crashing in the rockies.
>Ambient / Electronic
>not a rapper
Nigga, rap and EDM are two of the three biggest genres posted in these threads and they're listened to constantly.
I post all my metal songs in these threads and I get next to nothing for listens. Do you seriously even know where you are? Or are you just being bitter for attention? If so, mission accomplished, enjoy all the attention I'm giving you by calling you out for your lack of observation skills.
Pawing release date may 15th
Brand new single, Peaceful Park out now!

I'm working on a concept album about a future manned mission to mars. It's based on the no debunked Mars One mission, where a group of humans were to travel to mars to establish the first colony there, with the deal being that they would never be able to return.
I think it would be the most frightening thing to actually be on that planet, alone, and with absolutely no hope of return. At the same time it would be the most incredible journey and adventure.
>Unfinished originals, covers, videogame music
Mostly singer-songwriter piano stuff
My radio has a fever:
>Weird music from beyond
I return feedback.

Show me the cool shit. Need to get inspired
Returning every bit of feedback on SC
middle eastern vibes
funk noise. love those strange perc noises that keep changing. would like to hear more melody. chord chops or something. like the unsettling feeling and groove tho
east has such a comfortable vibe to it. until those voices come in then im confused wheter i should be comfy or not. I kinda like that confused feeling
even your hip-hop has a chiptune vibe. not sure why. very planned out maybe. i really dig the chipdoe. meh on the hip-hop. do chip-hop
>>the holy ghost has taken over my soul
sorry is neat. love the groove , spyro vibes and that glidey bendy lead. somethin wrong with the sound of that bass. not enough low mid
Rap Beat Samples, Instrumentals, Experimental
How would I improve my newest track?
will return feedback
this is so lo-fi it sounds like its being smothered. bring it out alil more. Its seems dis ingenious when someone tries to make their sound lofi. like when a movie tries to be campy while knowing or able to do other. It just dosent have a genuine feel.. could be cool music if you braught it out from under than bundle of blankets.
>minimalism, ambient, drone, etc.
Modern Hubris #np on #SoundCloud

I'm djing & producing hip hop / trap / garage / bass music.
kinda got inspirated by a-trak and the #realdjing movement, maybe you wanna check it out...
Me and my friends decided to make music. It's been going pretty well so far. imho
Reminds me of boyz noize a bit. I'm sorry, I don't know any fancy production words but I will do my best to give you feedback.
I like it, especially whatever is going on the background, the bottom layer. I really like how it builds up too. Some of the random beep boops in the first minute or so are meh. If there's improvement to be made, it's there.

>Space themed instrumentals
someday, all of us will become the famous musicians we hope to be :-)
I'm still waiting for actual album art to be finished so in the meantime with the little exposure it will get I'm using this picture. relax and drop the lawsuit I don't want to go to jail ;_;
>French Canadian juke
I'd love to know what you guys think!
>deep ambient house
guess that could sum this track up
The sample is from a German film called "Das weisse Band" from a few years back.
>short, digestible experimental vignettes
>good sense of melody
>new split releasing this month
I tend to avoid the experimental descriptor like it's the fucking plague... But this, this is all right. I tend to value brevity over meandering 10-minute-long "epics." You're doing it right.
>lo fi hip hop
>downtempo, instrumental hip-hop, chill vibes
just released my album today on bandcamp! the stream has been up for a while on soundcloud though so what u waitin 4
Last upload was a 3 beat mix so skip through that binch
i always get quads or trips while talkin to you.
oh nvm im high and half retarded
liek that one song that grooves alil. like a small groove. with small noises that sound hand-done. tribal sounding but white people sounding.
>sample heavy beats
>dark feels music
Dropped an EP 17 days ago, Production Practice Volume 2.
Peep /mu/tants, I'll follow anybody back and give feedback too.
Also my first EP is here as well
I have a collab mixtape called The Association dropping soon as well, our group is called Breadwinners Association ( I didn't pick the name)
Also am working on a more dark moody vibe EP called "Dissension" something a little similar to the "Solace" song/ep that Earl Sweatshirt recently dropped.
what a unique comment haha. no i don't; i have depression but instead of suffering from it i just make music instead, way better outlet and that's when i make my best tracks. i don't drug myself with anything synthesized in a lab, least of all tricyclics or SSRIs
>dark/upbeat electronic made on a 4-track
Ive been on them since I was 16 now 24 because i thought i was going to die every night. got tricked by the pharma companies. Theyre so fucking addictive you can die from withdrawl or just go into a psychotic break. the action takes so long its hard to tell whats you and whats the drug. and IT last so long it seems permanent. but they send me into insane bouts of mania and depression. i think they've aided my artistic process because Ive been to mental hell and back. so many people have killed themselves on these things because a lot of things interact with them and push your normal levels out of your body. Tumeric which is in root and in Curry is a serotenergic MAOI which is instant acting and i even had seratonin syndrome while taking both. Im going to start taking that when i get off because Im scared my creativity has come from this serotenergic drug.
anybody on SSRI's in here?
when your expectations of happyness fall you see the world and how it really works. which is how great art is made. use the emotional parts of the universe. not sure if thats a good thing because it might disconnect you from feeling the emotions.
yeah man i had an ex-girlfriend that took SSRIs so i got to see the effects of both taking them and trying to wean yourself off of them as opposed to my depression going (relatively) untreated. pot helps a lot when i can't music haha.
i definantly think too much. do you put a limiter on your music? interesting rythmns but its really hard to listen to cutting my speakers up
no its horrendous but ive learned alot. when your scared you think alot. and when your in bouts of mania you create and ignore everything and used the knowledge youve gained from the fear. dread cloud.
