New Bandcamp thread! Last one is basically dead. Post, recc, rate stuff!
>Electronic with some drones
Haven't done this in a long while, last time I was here I was drunk as hell
I have a new album that'll hopefully be done mid-June
>electronic, IDM(?), experimental(?), ambient
>fun feels-y power pop, indie rock, three (and some four!) part harmonies
>influenced by 60s pop and 90s emo
New release, I hope you enjoy it.
>art-rock, post-rock, instrumental, minimalist
>Electronic shoegaze (?)
>glitched out, chilled atmospheres with intricate sampling layers and field recordings spliced together along side analog warped synths.
Just released this yesterday through SVNSET WAVES my label!
Hope you enjoy, I put a lot of hard work into it :)
If you like it and want to hear some older stuff here's my own personal bandcamp:
Agony is lovely, aside from loving the title the tones and atmosphere are gorgeous. Great work!
New album I'm working on, mostly acoustic covers, a couple originals. It's one track away from official release through Burn Ward Records, I'm super pumped.
Will be going through thread soon leaving feedback. Thanks in advance for listening! <3
And those I've already heard, feedback'd, and thoroughly enjoyed
>organ / chamber
Randomly clicked a track to hear first after Numb, which I enjoyed, and fell on Oceanic. Fucccccck this is sweet. I love all the different parts, but the guitar(?) I fell in love with. It's clear you put a lot of effort into this. Beautiful work. Forever Forgotten is gorgeous tonally, and I love the pickup in the tempo as it builds.
I'm just starting to listen to this, but so far I get heavy Kayo Dot vibes from this, maybe early maudlin of the Well. I'm on the second track, and maybe this was on purpose, but the low rumbling that stays constant is somewhat grating; I feel you could still convey the slow, droning vibe while still making the track more complex and layered, more tonally evocative like the intro. Just a suggestion, and am continuing to listen to the rest right now.
I went ahead and released what I had done of this album I had scrapped. There's more info in the description of it. I felt I could make better stuff and Im adding synths and stuff.
Here's a snippet of what Im working on now
Excited to hear that for you!
This my Alternative R&B EP that I released about a month ago. I tried to create atmospheric and moody songs, with a dark vibe to them. People have seemed to enjoy them, tell me what you think!
If you want to hear my new single that I released a couple weeks ago and just remastered, it's on my Soundcloud page:
I will return all feedback as always!
No problem, man, I definitely gave it plenty of attention, just finished it. I wasn't crazy about the tracks that just had the rumbling throughout for the whole duration, but the rest I found very titillating. Maybe there's some conceptual aspect of the other two tracks I wasn't getting, but it seemed like you missed potential to make the rumbling tracks turn into something deeper, maybe darker. Stellar effort though, man, it works as an album, these are merely my opinions and suggestions.
Really glad you posted in this thread 'cause I wanted to finish your album from where I left off last night and seeing you here reminded me. Will return with further feedback, but from where I left off last night (Void I, I believe) I was in love already.
>tech-house EP + a dark downtempo electronic thing
>freak drone, ritual harsh noise, retro-futurist primitivism
>remixes, hip hop, chillwave
Good stuff as far as remixes go i'm diggin it. I just recently got into kali uchis and i can't get enough of her so i found out about esta searching her name. glad i did nice listen.
>Lo-fi rap, experimental hip hop, cloud rap/ harcore
Man i honestly can't rememeber a time when i felt more offended and interested by music. Like honestly this guy gets points from me for simply evoking a reaction that I didn't think was possible through music. Musically this is a lo-fi spaceghost purrpy shabazz palaces kind of feel. But the lyrics are the real main event here to me. Def worth a check out
>digital blues, soul, r&b
I couldn't find his bandcamp i think he deleted it but if you can look up an ep by him called mid-city island. Absolutely best thing i've heard all year. I couldn't find a bandcamp link so i'll juts put another link below this but yea i saw this guy in new york not too long ago and he's making some of the best music i've heard in years. Has a newblues kind of feel he's like willis earl beal but more refined
>for fans of: actress, oneohtrix point never
>Minimal Techno, Chiptuney, Tribal, Leftfield
will return all feedback
Hey this is pretty cool since it was mostly improvised. The synths you use are sick too what sort are they? 9 minutes is a bit long for my taste but from what I heard at times it was quite soothing
Damn your stuff sorta reminds me of OP's. I'm not sure why this sorta of music gets to me. It gives me the feeling of nostalgia but it's weird cause I haven't heard anything like this before. Great job, keep it up.
GOD DAMMNIT YOUR STUFF IS CATCHY AS FUCK STOP POSTING CUZ I ALWAYS GET UR SONGS STUCK IN MY HEAD. Rad stuff, love the production too
DAMN the first song reminded me of a Pink Floyd breakdown. Definitely feelin' Pink Floyd sorta reminds me of this other band that I can't quite put my finger on. Sick instrumental tunes though man, very rad.
Feedbacked you before, but I'd just like to say the music really is a great reflection of the description.
The feels man. That's all I gotta say. STRAYA REPRESENT
SHOEGAZE FOR DAYS
I've heard your stuff before and I quite enjoyed it. Often at times it sounded outta time, not sure if it was intentional but if you wanna combat that play with a click track my friend
Dem titles, Dem bach vibes, Dem organs. Great ideas, loved the chord progresh got quite repetitive though however that's just my taste being a fuck.
Hello fellow Melbournian! Man I hope your dog recovers love the contrast between the first and second track that's fantastic.
SO JIZZ JAZZY, nah its rad man would've loved to hear some vocals on some of your tracks though. Really fucking dug the guitar tones
Great production man, highly professional! Not entirely my style of music but I can tell it's good.
Again not my style but the production was pretty rad and i really liked that dynamic change at around 2:20, keep it up man.
Yeah, I actually recorded my other two albums with click tracks, this one is just bare-bones, super raw recordings so sometimes the time is just a little off, it was semi-intentional to catch that raw, innawoods feeling, I guess.
Been following you ever since I heard Touch My Balls, I'm always a damn huge fan of your work, Eddy.
There are few of those. Microkorg, all bunch of created and modified synth modules on FL Studio and some old USSR synths that I've managed to scrap out from complete ruin. But mostly Microkorg + some shitty synths and ruined electronics
Oh that's rad, you truly do capture that innawoods feeling man. haha cheers man I appreciate it
Haha fuckin' USSR Synths dude? That's awesome. I really needa to make use of my synths, only got a Mininova and DX7 but they make some lovely sounds
>"experimental electronic", guitar+electronics, ambient
couldn't really stand the second material action after the first, but i guess that's a personal endurance problem. The first one was intriguing and i love that kind of approach to composition, would really like to know how you made it
now halfway through track 4 and really digging the sample
>New EP (free download)
> First Wave post-rock, Instrumental, Psychedelic, improvisation.
>all improvised music at the rehearsal room. Snippets collected over a period of a year. Recorded with a portable device placed in the middle of the room. Sounds superb considering that.
How do you guys keep up with the inspiration to come up with new stuff? Ever since I'm conscripted, I haven't found the time or energy to write stuff..
>>55586454 here, missed some out since I didn't really know what to say.
These patches are gorgeous, I like your improv approach.
You've really capped that Songs From The Black Hole vibe with the synthesizers, great stuff.
Distant Place For Short Letters is fantastic, it reminds me of something but I can't quite put my finger on it. I think it might be reminiscent of 60's/70's production, what equipment did you record this on?
This is very good, nice moody music, your mixing is fantastic!
Quarry To My Conscience reminded me a tiny bit of Same Place by Circulatory System. In general, I like your approach to melody, the guitar's brilliant.
I really love the chord changes on Inngangur til Lífsins, makes me think of a cathedral that's empty except for some old organist practicing.
This is pretty good, do I hear some Dub influence in the production?
I like the vocal delays, but I'm not sure, is that a very quiet counterpoint I can hear in a backing vocal?
It's very interesting, your approach to putting stuff together, it's not for me personally but I can see the detail and effort you put in.
Those gentle synths towards the start are gorgeous, I'm not sure what this reminds me of, it might be the beginning of Teen Age Riot. Regardless, this track is fantastic, I'm interested in hearing the rest of it. Thanks for your feedback by the way!
And damn, most of my feedback seems identical to yours
The effects in that first track are fantastic, you seem to have a real talent for that side of things. The track itself as a whole is very good too, I like the dark approach.
Gorgeous stuff man.
To respond to your question, take a break for a while and if you ever do find time to make something, make sure it's different in some way or another to what you've done before. Even if it doesn't sound good, you'll plant seeds for new ideas in the future.
>ambient, piano, instrumental stuff
I'll review some albums soon.
festival pop/indie blues
It happens to the best of us
That's a DX7 for ya man, oh hellz yeah Sonic Youth! I really needa get into em more. Thanks dude I appreciate the kinds words, no worries man it was a pleasure listening to your tunes. YEAH MAN PLAGIARIZING THE WAY I FEEDBACK!! Nahh I'm kiddin' its all good
Hey thanks for the rec dude, I listened to your tunes and I could legit imagine it being in some film score. Beautifully arranged man. The cover is also a really rad representation of the music.
I was in the wrong thread, I was the OP of one thread and lurking in this one, thought the dude was talking about something I'd posted and I was like "the fuck there's no synths", but I was in the wrong thread. my bad
ill be posting this here a lot lol
various genres , blackmetal, glitchpunk, acid, techno, chillwave, sadwave, ambient, cheese
>noise pop, psychedelic dream pop, electronic experimental rock
Your music is climatic and deep. The production is also very good. I like it.
Incredibly depressing, but I love it. The variety of sounds is amazing.
Material action #2 is incredible. I'm enjoying every minute of your new album.
I am digging vocals, really well done. Very, very relaxing.
>>55588023 cześć :^)
I have listened to your music before on SoundCloud. Very interesting and well produced.
Wow, your music is amazing. Sounds so relaxing and well produced. Downloading it.
Downloading it too, because it sounds too epic. Loving the cover art.
lo-fi casiotone made while depressed, intoxicated, or psychotic
Mi Casa and The Premier League are pretty cool
That Day of Wrath, That Dreadful Day is fucking insane. love it
>Noise, Field-Recordings, Partly Ambient
>angstpop, power electronics, dark electro, harsh noise, dark ambient, German lyrics
Cover some more neofolk songs and I will love you forever!
I listened to that first song on Soundcloud. Will download the EP, my Polish friend!
>noisy glitchpop, bleeps, bloops, breaks pianos
Really enjoying this!
>instrumental, progressive, math rock, post rock
>ambient, post trip hop, experimental electronic
Currently creating new stuff but this is the most recent release.
>ambient, warm drone, tape loops, music to sleep to
>Ambient, electronic, noise
Not gonna lie, mostly posting this because I'm $1.10 of being able to afford this cable I need. But hey, expanding my listenership is cool too.
I really like this. If it was me I'd change up the mixes a bit. Light From the Cave's Mouth is kind of unecessarily quiet and Those Who Come at Night is a bit thin, but it still works.
Also, sick color palette. Seriously, that shade of reddish pink goes so well with the bluish green of the album artwork. Top dog
>Many of these tracks were left unmastered. That's a lot to explain why, so let's just classify this album as lo-fi.
top kek. Some really cool shit here. Love Static Soul.
Super dope wow. Actually just inspired me to grab my guitar, I think it's time to stop being lazy and actually write some fucking math rock. Really really like this one!
> Harsh noise
> Power Electronics
> All genres known to man
We're gearing up for a release on May 10th, May 18th, and May 21st. We're also putting together a compilation and zine. If you want to contribute a song or article to the zine, or just want to be on the label; message our facebook page.
Also my band just released an ep
>Twinkly acoustic emo
This shit is super cool. I want to make a project like this some day.
Really warm and satisfying. I've wanted to add some ambient stuff to my collection and the bandcamp thread has been on fire today for that.
>Industrial Black Metal, Cybergrind, Vaporwave
>alternative, emo, slowcore, space rock
Cool guys I've seen live a few times.
just released a brand new single, Peaceful Park
you can download it for free or watch the music video here:
>straight edge hardcore, crossover thrash, melodic hardcore, youth crew
>new album came out yesterday
>Dark Ambient, Post-Industrial
>stoners / comedy / aleatoric / noise / experimental
> norwegian hardcore punk
new collaborative EP comming soon
great stuff, love the guitar sound - bedroom shoegaze is just what I need tonight - I'm definitely downloading Bedtime Enterprise
enjoying this drowsy sound - I'd say a few of the tracks are too long but otherwise - great concept and really nice flow, your piano works are mesmerising
man, this is outstanding - reminds me of the things that were mysterious for me back in the childhood - when I used to drink a lot of peppermint tea actually - you have a big talent for creating really enjoyable and dreamy textures
harsh... reminds me of HANL which is a really good thing. I can hear pure emotions in the voice. There's something painful but beautiful about your music at the same time.
I also have this side project:
Inhale The Sky is an experimental ambient EP with strong vaporwave influences
Store Escapist represents my own microgenre called hawaiive
funny you mention it cause i also have a black metal project but it's all me, i nearly never scream loud. it's pretty quiet tbh? idk how to explain but anyway it's a one man project since there isn't alot of people where i live who like that kinda music
if your interested in my bm-project. it has gotten some p good feedback
- instrumental post-metal
>post-hardcore, punk rock, screamo, emo, ambient
>RIYL Wipers, Touche Amore, Saetia, Weezer, Brand New
YO this is awesome
I'm listening to Self-Titled II and so far a love it. It feels so ancient and I just drifted off in the intro, the black metal part just started and I'm really digging the raw, esoteric nature of the whole thing.
>experimental, sound collage, 'dance', plunderphonic
meant to be listened to as a loop.
>grungy punk rock, indie rock, live recordings
>solo artist 90's influences
>lo-fie, indie grunge, garage, some shoegaze
just came out with a new song here
>lo-fi, pop, bedroom
cool tracks. makes me want to dim the lights and wallow in darkness. some kind of reminds me of the soundtrack to It Follows.
definitely quality stuff, but not really my taste. even though, theres something i like about it. idk actually like every song starts with me ready to dismiss it as not my genre, but then it grows on me a bit. i guess the fun of it overtakes my bitter cynicalness.
Great page description. This album has this cool dark mysterious feel to it. Feels a little nostalgic too, I dont know why. I feel like deep inside my subconscious is a medieval dark fantasy realm that this resonates with.
Really chill track. A good song to put on to relax. Just went back and put on Sentient Apples. Really digging this a lot as well. Gives me some good vibrations. Lookin forward to more.
I like your style.
some cool stuff here. I really like Take It As A Threat and Ashtray
>noise, punk, experimental
New 2nd album is out:
Also available here:
>noise, experimental,electronic, ambient
>electronic, ambient, IDM
New double album
>plunderphonics, noise, industrial, drone, little bits of vaporwave, horror movie score
a bunch of lo-fi electronic
>minimalistic ambient electronic ep
I'm not Burn Ward, but I'd probably recommend only posting the link to Icongraphia that's from Burn Ward, and not both yours and theirs.
Re-releases and knowledge of location through exclusivity don't go hand in hand.
>dirty, melodic, lo-fi-ish
>Experimental & Ambient
> Extremely good feels
> 11/10 on the groove-o-meter
> Extremely high quality production
> "Katrine" will melt your heart
>ambient, pop, drone, home-recorded

Nice. You've been channeling some interesting shit there.
>>55586465 This is great. Sounds great. Well written. Makes me smile. Fucking sick!
>>55586486 So well done. Love the colors and moods you manage to be able to weave between seamlessly. Awesome stuff.
>>55586714 >>55587173 >>55598246
My first 2 releases.
>Post-punk, noise, trip-hop, black-metal, ambient, experimental, soundtrack, killwave
Making a return to /mu/.
>dark ambient, drone ambient, mellow shit
>vaportrap, reverb-drenched bedroom beats
>ambient vaporwave, mallsoft, long hazy droney vaporwave shit
Working on the next 懐かし2002津波 album.
I really dig the synths, dude. This feels a bit like William Basinski or maybe OPN's early work. 9/10, definitely downloaded.
I'm getting a very OPN vibe from the synths, and a big Autechre vibe from the drums (what with all the weird irregular patterns and such)
I dig it, keep on keeping on!
It's not quite my thing but I dig the noise. Keep doing what you're doing, maybe our paths will cross one day.
This sounds like music that I'll curl up in a fetal position to and cry on a summer night some year, post-breakup. It's perfect, if you make an album I'll definitely listen.
I dig what you're going for. Maybe add a little overdrive to the vocals to make em sound crisper. I'm not sure why but the vocals have kinda a "hollow" sound. It's hard to explain but it's basically the only really bad thing about this. Keep on making shit, though. You're a good songwriter.
Featuring artists such as NVAR, i know who you are and you are nothing, SOMA, Five Star Hotel, and more talented musicians.
Please check it out, everyone on this comp is really good !
>emo, noise rock, drum machines and shit, vocals
>garage rock, noise rock, ambient, post-rock, blues, psychedelic rock
Give a listen :)
thanks a ton for the feedback about the vocals! i was sort of going for that "hollow" sound since my favorite post-hardcore album ever (touche amore's debut) had that sort of sound so i tried to emulate it by putting my mic in the corner of a room and just yelling really loudly, but i guess i didn't capture it very well.
thanks a ton for the compliments on my songwriting, by the way!
Written, recorded and mastered by my friend and I, in my basement. Aside from the Hard--panned bass, anything?
Got a definite Doors-y vibe... I like it, although I felt the guitar overtook the keys a little on "Rough"
Love the vocal harmonies on Fly Away.
Kind of an 80's vibe all over the mixing, too.
>>r&b// dreampop// lounge
new ep out thru amdiscs this summer<3
be sure to stay tuned :]
>ambient, soundscapes, tape music, dark ambient
Samples from old radio stations, number stations and other sources with similar aesthetics.
Well, its cute and kinda catchy, but the cheesy production and vocals kinda ruin it.
Its a compilation so I cant say much criticism wise, but i highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of ambient.
Recommending you again.
Gorgeous and amazingly produced. I dont usually like this style of ambient, but this is geat.
Really weird effects and the slight off key feel is great. Favorite track is Cosine B
Recommending you again. Great dark ambient.
Saw you in the soundcloud thread, gona recommend you highly.
And some more people I really enjoy, and recommend often.
