At the very end of the album, if they continued that heavy jam right after the slight pause for about a minute longer before the ambient outro.
Use the combined version of Pigs On The Wing and put it at the end.
>A van in neutral rolling down a hill unoccupied
remove last track and vocals at the beginning of track 6
>pic is a twitter meme'd facebook post
move We're an American Band before Spec Bebop
not that anyone cares
>Welcome to Arco AM/PM market
Take out Faust Arp, and All I Need, and replace them with something from disk 2.
Call me stupid, but I love that part, yet I hate "They don't sleep anymore on the beach.
but also to clips of elfteling
but also if that album was still out but never mentioned on the internet
really any music sans the internet could be 10/10 at this point
Remove every Nicki Minaj verse
Move middle songs to the beginning/end, and delete perfect world. i'm really not picky about song orders, but this one album pisses me off that it starts and ends well, but there's no build to it.
>filthy frank thinks ray william johnson is unfunny
his monologue at the end of ds9 was actually pretty moving. felt bad that he pretty much went insane, lost his family and his world, ostracized from his people, yet he knows he needs to help rebuild
>implying the chanting isn't the best part of Swans modern releases
Okay, so I saw both of these posts and thought "Okay, maybe another listen is warranted" and yeah; All I Need wasn't nearly as bad as I remembered, and the ending is especially good. I just remember that it never stood out to me, like Weird Fishes, and Nude, so it just lost my attention. After my third time listening to the album, I just started skipping it, but I guess it's grown on me.
...But I still don't like Faust Arp.
>replace Machine Gun with So Tired
>replace Sing with Country Rain
>use electric version of Dagger
Make the drum sound a little less pathetic on "I want to tell you" and make "Here there and everywhere" less anemic
Remove or replace hardcore hustle. Completely breaks the flow of the album I hate it
Remove or dramatically shorten the second track
i've always hated her.
can't wait until she reaches grimes status and everyone realizes she's shit but just brush her under the rug because you all feel embarrassed about liking her for so long.
Replace The Battle of Epping Forest with Twilight Alehouse.
Make Frank not gay.
body snatchers is a great song, but I have to agree that removing it would improve the album tremendously. If you're hooking up with a qt and bodysnatchers comes on it's all over
Make Dormition And Dominion better. Or just remove it. It doesn't really add that much to the album musically or conceptually and could easily be replaced with an extension to So: This Empire Is Nothing or one of the other songs. David Tibet doing harsh vocals just doesn't sound good in any situation.
that's imo the best song on the album
i always love his passionate vocals, and i've started to prefer the live recordings better than the studio albums recently. i think we've just got to agree to disagree here
Make Sleepwritten available on every version and have it as the closing track.
How To Build a Time Machine is a fine track, but it's not the incredible conclusion this album deserves.
Replace Symmetry with a remastered version of Panda.
Come on, the song is just an unnecessary 30 minutes of filler drones with like 5 minutes of worthwhile music at the end. It's like the song was only put there to increase the length of the album so it could be more "epic." It's just boring and makes the album stretch for way longer than it needs to.
Yeah, live versions are a lot better. It isn't even the song that I don't like, just the way it was recorded and produced on the album. Especially that really shitty synth bassline that plays one single time out of nowhere and goes away just as unexpectedly. It's just a mess of a track, and it has some of the worst lyrics on the album. For the climax of the album, I wish they would have done a better job with polishing it up. It had a lot of potential.
>make "no more runnin" a 3 minutes track
>add more african percussion / upbeat rythm to "my girls" to make it sound more like "brother sport"
I might try editing it just now :S
Actually I think the opposite would be better. For ex. no reason for ASOD to be split into 4 parts, it's one song and it is always played live as one song. If they released it as Behemoth and "marketed" it as a bit longer EP and the Lamb's Breath part had been shortened a bit people would have loved it. Now they bitch instead.
I don't know, maybe I just need another super nature party / energetic track on the release and right afther "In The Flowers" seems like the best place to fit it, just before the whole album develops. I love My Girls tho
Thanks for the feedback!
>make the intro shorter or completely remove it
>remove all the arrowheads from bloodhail
Remove the weaker tracks like Fade Away, Top Man, Ernold Same, Dan Abnormal and Yuko and Hiro to make it only ten tracks and around 40 minutes long. For me that makes a near perfect pop album. Same thing goes for "Modern Life Is Rubbish".
Helix Skull pls go
But keep Glass Earth
Your opinions are shit and I find it hard to respect you for them.
Remove that shitty voice and the album could be alright.
Turmoil is fantastic, its almost a reiteration to I felt my size
Just make it Live From The Basement without the chatter between some songs.
remove what would you do if i'm not what i'm supposed to be, because i'm not, or replace it with something cool while keeping the bongos
While I agree that What You Want is the least necessary song on the album, I think When You Sleep is cool mostly because of the recording context, how they had like a dozen takes for the vocals and were happy with none of them, so they just went 'FUCK IT' and layered them all on top of each other
Put "Smells Like Teen Spirit" as the album opener on Pet Sounds and it goes from a 9/10 to a 10/10.
how people can enjoy this record but now crown of love (or in the backseat, i've noticed a lot of hate for that song) is beyond me. une anne sans lumiere, 7 kettles, or haiti are all worse songs.
>keep panda bear from writing music
now i dont become unbearably sleepy just thinking about the repetitive beach boys drone fest that is mpp
Wilco - Yankee Foxtrot
>remove heavy metal drummer
Wilco - A ghost is born
> remove Late Greats
Wilco - Sky Blue Sky
> remove Hate it Here
Seriously what is it with them having one absolute shit cheeseball song on each album?
>removing heavy metal drummer instead of kamera and war on war
shit fucking taste i cant believe i take time out of my day to discuss music with people like you
