When touching on such themes, Reagan echoed the work, and sometimes the phrasing, of occult scholar Manly P. Hall.
From the dawn of Hall’s career in the early 1920s until his death in 1990, the Los Angeles teacher wrote about America’s “secret destiny.” The United States, in Hall’s view, was a society that had been planned and founded by secret esoteric orders to spread enlightenment and liberty to the world.
In 1928, Hall attained underground fame when, at the remarkably young age of twenty-seven, he published “The Secret Teachings of All Ages,” a massive codex to the mystical and esoteric philosophies of antiquity. Exploring subjects from Native American mythology to Pythagorean mathematics to the geometry of ancient Egypt, this encyclopedia arcana remains the unparalleled guidebook to ancient symbols and esoteric thought. “The Secret Teachings” won the admiration of figures ranging from General John Pershing to Elvis Presley.
/v/ has the courage and the balls to criticize everything that is bad on /v/
while /mu/ just consumes everything modern whether it be good or bad and call it good, just because it is new.
>a movie (12 Years a Slave) that he considers not a powerful historical docudrama but a sensationalist feel-bad fantasy that is subtly designed to make white people feel good about their own guilt.
Music guy is Andrey Gorokhov, russian music critic and radio host who used to run a radio show on a German radio station before realizing that music is dead in 2005 and calling it quits since then. He migrated to Ukraine in 2012 and got killed in Donetsk sometime around last year. He's russian /mu/'s equivalent to Scaruffi.
Vidya guy is Antony Zirbas AKA Alex Kierkegaard AKA Icycalm, I don't know much about him besides the fact he's a meme on /lit/.
I don't know anybody who takes her seriously except edgy high school students. They're the same people who will buy a copy of Atlas Shrugged because it's big and just obscure enough for them to feel cool for owning it (as obscure as a high student's reading can be at least).
Why can't people just love everything?
Now we need more sections that only the übermensch is into.
>Absolutely horrifying well-documented fanbase of ugly autistic basement dwellers who masturbate to anime characters and often are a leech on society
>Anime has brought us maybe 10 good shows in its existence with a theme that isn't about pantyshots and fucking your own sister or a little girl
She's a leading example just like Maggie.
She might have a lot of pseudo-intelectual shit but what she's saying in essence has a certain truth, liberals just fucking hate her because she obliterates liberalism and was highly against feminism.
It's true though, liberals love to boycot her stuff without actually looking into it but most of what she's saying is reasonable stuff and a wake up to those who still hold on to live so serve others like liberals love to do.
You seem to forget objectivism.
as if any of you would know 95% of the albums you listen to without the assistance/promotion of music criticism
it's impossible to be completely detached from the commercial music market in this age, regardless of how little you think you're influenced by it
My attempt at a conservative (basically not bait like the other ones ITT) list:
Harold Bloom (for everything before 1900)
Obviously still way too commercial compared to the proper arts but Icycalm seems the biggest proponent of critical appreciation. Probably some no-names in universities are doing this too. No idea about the same for animation and comic books.
That's the "I've never read Ayn Rand but liberals hate her so I hate her" rundown yes.
>Hurrrr conservatives are the roots of all evil
Spoken from someone who has never actually read anything about conservatives except what other liberals fed him.
Hell I'm not saying we conservatives are picture perfect but I'd rather hang out with them than a bunch of delusion libtards.
Liberals take away freedom while destroying the integrity of human life.
It's forcing others to believe the same immoral shit they do or they'll be cast out as racist/sexist/xenophobic/homophobic outsiders.
It's all band-aids solutions anyway while trying to help other nations with the money we so desperately need, that wouldn't even be that much of a problem if they didn't grant immigrants certain rights that I didn't even get just because they're a minority.
Now liberals believe they shouldn't be a minority anymore, in a country that isn't even theirs.
All while ignoring the issues that multiculturalism has created in the last few decades, they call it a worthy price to pay, it's really just the destruction of our culture as we know it in the name of liberal progression.
Try "enriching' a country with our culture and see what they tell you, hell look at South-Africa and tell me why that's not incredibly racist.
Liberals are te hippies of today, and we all know what the babyboom hippies did for our generation and how they made sure that we got nothing after them.
I see the meaning of life is to make your own meaning
I don't care for other people's opinions, but my fav gamed are mount and blade warband, civ 5, tf2, and stalker so
Im AirnSpace on last.fm
I'm moving on from pleb to entry level at this point
My favorite anime is probably either black lagoon or raXephon. Gigguk is a cool guy, but he is like a secondary fantano of anime (the actual fantano of anime is glassreflection)
Yeah I proofread and it isn't great, my english grammar is pretty bad to begin with.
I just love discussing politics, wanna chat cute boys instead?
I've read Ayn Rand and she's a fucking moron. Her philosophy is so inconsistent and full of holes that it's laughable that there are people that even consider her a philosopher. And her writing's just as atrocious, fucking boring and preachy. Conservatives just hate the fact that the entirety of philosophy as a field is inherently liberal so they pretend that have their own philosopher so that they can fit in to intelligent people circles. Except their philosopher is a retarded russian donkey-dyke who can't write a sentence without jumping to incoherent conclusions. Great philosopher you got there, conservatives.
Saying philosophy is mainly liberal is like saying economics is mainly Conservative. Of course it is thats what those parties are geared towards, when they aren't geared towards it they do a shitty job of justifying said things.
