Let's shed some light on our underdiscussed favorite from 2015. Give genre for context.
>Vertical Land by David John Sheppard
>indietronica? folktronica? tough one
This band was hyped last decade when they made noise rock albums but now Shit & Shine does god-tier electronic music and no one talks about them.
One of the best albums this year, by far. Since it was released in January most people forgot about it.
I'd put the album just outside my top 10 of the year, and the title track in my top 5 songs.
Understandably not on many people's radars but I thought it was pretty interesting
on par with Classical Curves and another foresight into the next step for the night slugs/fade to mind sound
this is in the mix for AOTY for me
pic related is my second favorite dream poppy album of the year (no shoegaze elements in this one though)
>Valet - Nature
