Nothing but Black Metal November
Old thread : >>60172196
How is Abigor so based?
>excellent and forward thinking 2nd wave albums in the early-mid 90s
>excellent and forward thinking orthodox albums in the 2010s
And how have I only just discovered them?
not to forget the excellent and forward thinking industrial album they dropped 2006
Anything similar to this?
Doesn't have to be Hellenic just the general sound.
I don't know how to describe it really.
I need around 20 min long GOAT EP's to listen to on my way to work
Here's several hundred:
Deathspell Omega is a bit technical for my taste. And the fact that Deathcrush wasn't in the top 20 says a lot.
>cradle of shit
So which speakers/headphones/amps/players are you guys using?
I'm using a pair of Beyerdynamic DT990 PRO 250ohm headphones plugged into either my AKAI AM2600 or into my Audioengine D1.
goddamn how kvlt can one person be?
>there are people who listen to black metal on equipment that is more expensive than $5.
>there are people who listen to black metal on anything other than a tape recorder
>there are people who listen to black metal
>there are people who exist on a physical realm
Nice, I'm thinking on getting the DT770 80 ohm, or a set of Porta Pros because why the fuck not.
Also, just listened to this album because someone posted it in the last thread, nice interstellar vibe.
Yeah, I don't really want to bring along another portable device next to my phone.
I just want to have something I can use at the office that's not too big and preferably closed-back so my co-workers are not able to judge my taste in music.
what's everybody listening to? why aren't you listening to this?
About 7.5/10, pretty good
I'm on an EP spree (>>60181897), I discovered that there's a ton of good shit I haven't even touched just because they are not full lengths and are in my mind somehow not proper releases.
>tfw your country is so insignificant the TPP probably isn't even gonna bother
what is some happy BM for this feel? Something along the lines of Demoniac which is the happiest shit have
also pic related is an underrated modern classic
This is way rawer
didn't like Solarkult that much in all honesty, it's a good album but maybe a little bit long for my tastes.
It's one of the most interesting albums i've listened on a conceptual level though
i just like the riffing style better, it reminds me of Dodheimsgard
i love the programmed drums, i love the beyond processed vocals and the synths they use
Machination is a close second though
>ad they never stopped using programmed drums
i know, i just think they sound better on Login:SataN
And the rest is just a matter of taste really, their albums change pretty drastically from one to another
i find stuff like Darkthrone and early Behemoth really comfy
I'm liking nothing but black metal trend. What is everyone grooving to?
Back cover is really neat too and the record sounds good through headphones. Awesome purchase
I was the first guy saying it's making me comfy and happy and I've been listening to Emperor, Enslaved, Mork Gryning, stuff like that. Starting to get what you guys see in this stuff after always being pretty much 100% dm listener.
>Starting to get what you guys see in this stuff after always being pretty much 100% dm listener.
same for me my first time
honestly, people who write off entire sub genres without giving them a serious chance range from pretentious to retarded
only seven more albums and my 5x5 will be all black metal
(actually one of those cara neir albums turned out to be more grind than bm but that wasn't my fault)
anyone else love the process of seeing black metal take over their chart in the first week of november?
Scratch the retarded clean vocals idea and marduk has what you're looking for
they can have some impact in some cases but you need other musical elements to make up a genre. if black metal were solely defined by satanic lyrics deicide would be considered black metal.
that is the remaster m8. the original is already some years old
>Every human being not going to the extreme limit is the servant or the
enemy of man and the accomplice of a nameless obscenity.
>tfw accomplice of a nameless obscenity
>So Listen To Your heart, What Black Metal Means To You.
>You're Weak Destroy Yourself. You're From Old Days Remember His Corpse.
>So I Summon The Old Warriors. That We Shall Begin.
>To Kill The False And Hate One To Satisfy Our Hate.
>I'm Possessed By Black Fucking Metal
is any kind nbbmn patron willing to share thorns' self titled album? i can't find it anywhere
>inb4 torrent it
i can't because i'm on a college campus
SEEN STUMBLING DOWN IN THE DARKNESS
QUESTIONING HONOURS AND DREAMS
THOSE TREASURES WILL NEVER BEFALL YOU
THEY'RE OOOOUT OF REAAAAAAAAACH
Thoughts on Zuriaake's new album? I like it as much as "Afterimage of Autumn" but I feel like I have to listen to it more to fully form an opinion on it.
What's a Sigh album that sounds closest to this?
I need more Celtic Frost with "yoohoo" and faggy keyboards
I AM THE WORKING CLASS
ALL DAY SO I DON'T HAVE TO SEE YOUR FACE
I AM THE WORKING CLASS
DISCIPLINE, THE DAYBREAK IS WHEN I BEGIN
I AM THE WORKING CLASS
EACH DAY I BUST MY BONES TO GET PAID
I AM THE WORKING CLASS
DAMN RIGHT, THE DAILY GRIND IS MY FAITH
I ordered the box set for it because I really wanted a physical copy but there wasn't a digipak at the time. At least I get an art book and flag to go with it I guess.
No, they're actually from China and they're currently touring there.
Really comfy indeed

LA MINCE CLAMEUR DE CES ÊTRES INIQUES ET INABSOUS PLEURANT A LA SORTIE DU MONDE
Man Panzerfaust really is overlooked too much. It basically revisits all of Darkthrone's earlier mischiefs. You have the more thrashy metalpunx stuff like on Blaze it Faggot, you have the hypnotic tremolo attack of Tranny Hunger, and you even get some of the doomy riffs on UAFM.
Or maybe that's the reason it gets overlooked, it may seem like a "cheap" copy of what was already done before and nothing new is brought to the table. And there are also pretty divisive fans of early darkthrone, often not liking one of the early records in preference for another, so they don't like when the album revisits the style from the album they don't care for.

ON THE DAY OF MY FINAL SACRIFICE
Yeah. It might take some time before you get used to browsing it as everything is in russian. So if you don't feel like translating the page, you can just figure it out intuitively. At least that's what I did.
The download link people have the most trouble with is with rufolder, pic-related sort of shows you what to do but it may vary slightly from time to time, apparently. This is the most I can do for ya, lad.
