So, one of my rear tyres popped yesterday. Before I get ripped off, I was wondering if you guys can help. I'm no petrol head but plan to change this to at least some extent. Anyways, can I change just one tyre, should I get both rear ones done, or is it far better to get all four done?
I've had a Biopace Crankset on my first Steelbike, and the only thing i notice about it is that its pretty much Solid and Bulletproof, though i can't really notice any difference compared to my current Shimano 105 Crankset
I feel a bit of difference when climbing. It's a little like trying to lift during upstroke. I haven't done an A/B test between my Biopace bike and one of my other bikes, although even if I did it wouldn't be terribly accurate due to tire size and geometry differences.
You can get a custom titanium bike with full di2 and custom deep aerogarbon wheels with gokiso hubs for under $300 if your not a retardo like most of this consumer sheeple board. I myself commissioned a design from the Vatican, welded by the pope and with a seatpost made of fragments of the True Cross, for $299. If you disagree with me you don't know SHIT about bicycles and probably ride a BSO with DUI bars and it's a fixie to.
I once had flat pedals and I went out of my saddle on a rainy day. My foot slipped off the pedal while out of saddle and I crushed my balls. Had to go to the doctor. since they started swelling. One ball is removed and the other produces 1/2 of what it used to prudce
>noisy >polluting >dangerous >but we still make them make them the focus of our modern cities and public spaces and transportation planning >and people feel entitled to operate their cars without regards to anyone else's wellbeing
I don't actually hate cars, as mechanical devices I think they're amazing, and there are definitely lots of good things about them - but the complete and absolute dependence... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>909459 There are many poor deluded souls on this board, most of them young, who think that all the world's problems can be solved by eliminating motor vehicles from it. Of course they're blind to the fact that they wouldn't have bikes to ride or any of the modern conveniences (including the computer and the Internet they're using to complain about the evils of cars and the people who own and operate them) without motor vehicles; the majority of us would still be living in rural areas, and rarely see cities... ITT: Each set of dubs print 1 of 6 stickers for my bicycle.
I've started riding my bicycle to work, to save money/get some exercise. I only work 10km away, so it's not too bad. However, my bike gets locked up, and set outside in the public for 9 hours a day. It's a real piece of shit 70's road bike, with bolt on wheels, nothing on it worth stealing. I found it on the verge during verge collection, just needed new tires/tubes, but this doesn't mean people won't try to steal it.
I wish to print some stickers to put on it. Something... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
What are you guys doing for training for the 2016 race season? Intervals, base training, threshold rides? Anybody have any jank book recommendations or articles / people to follow for training advice? Who all is riding outside vs riding inside on trainers/rollers?
I don't race or intend to but I just recieved my Castelli Free Aero Race Bibs that I ordered a couple of weeks ago and I just ordered some Giordana FR-C bibs which should arrive in the new year. Then I plan to buy a Giro Synthe aero helmet.
I may not race but I sure as hell will look the part!
Maybe it's because cyclists are actually at home with their families so, can post, while rail-fans are out, alone in the cold, spotting Christmas themed trains and other lines they can't during normal working days?
But in the end, why does this even bother you so much >>909362?
So I picked up biking during the summer. Long story short I've fallen in love with it. My question you people, Is there any way I can upgrade/mod a 1978 Ross Gran Prix 2 bike for winter riding In Philadelphia?
