A Canadian transgender father left behind a wife and seven children to begin a new life as a six-year-old girl.
Stefonknee (pronounced ‘Stephanie’) Wolschtt, 46, had been married for 23 years when she realised she was transgender.
She's now living with an adoptive family, and says she does not “want to be an adult right now”.
“I can’t deny I was married. I can’t deny I have children. But I’ve moved forward now and I’ve gone back to being a child,” she said in a video series by The Transgender Project, published by Daily Xtra.
Ms Wolschtt said her wife could not accept her as a transgender woman. She was told to either “stop being trans or leave”.
“To me, ‘stop being trans’ isn’t something I could do,” she says. “It would be like telling me to stop being 6ft 2 or leave.”
Feeling rejected by her family, Ms Wolschtt left and now lives with her adoptive family, who she says are “totally comfortable with me being a little girl”.
She explains how her new parents’ youngest granddaughter wanted a little sister and decided Ms Wolschtt should be younger than her.
“We have a great time. We colour, we do kid’s stuff,” she says.
“It’s called play therapy. No medication, no suicide thoughts. And I just get to play.”
>>8392 At what point is it catastrophe? How much damage needs to be done? Because it's already impossible to stop the submerging of some island nations, and I imagine it's already too late to stop some damage to the food chain.
Also, fuck India and their insistence they're allowed to massively increase greenhouse gas output just because other countries did in the past. At least they'll be some of the worst hit from the fallout.
A Greek Orthodox Metropolitan of the Church of Greece is under fire for comments he posted publicly on his blog, lashing out against gays, muslims, jews and atheists. I'm really curious about that home-made rocket pictured in the article- it's so hilariously stupid that I want to see IS try to use it. These are the people that defeated the trillion-dollar industry of the US military.

In addition to these anti-personnel projectiles one of the current Daesh favorites is a highly armored kamakazi truck. They often come in groups and are able to plow through checkpoints and into specific targets like a poor man's precision guided bomb.

On Friday, December 11, a fight broke out on the floor of the Ukrainian parliament. Oleg Barna, a deputy in President Poroshenko's bloc approached the speaker's podium, where Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk was delivering an address. Handing him a bouquet of roses, Barna started shoving Yatsenyuk, then tried to carry him away, even grabbing him between the legs and lifting him into the air. Immediately, several other deputies intervened and a mass brawl began. Neither Yatsenyuk nor his roses took part.

The smiling, head-bobbing, saluting women of the Moranbong Band possess all the hallmarks of your typical K-pop group. Clad in mini-skirts and high heels, they perform under flashing lights on dramatic, larger-than-life sets. They infuse Western pop flavor with a Korean twist.
But the Moranbong ladies have a special honor that has been bestowed on none of the world’s most recognizable K-pop sensations, from Big Bang to Girls’ Generation. They exist in their own league, really, having each been hand-picked by North Korea’s supreme leader Kim Jong-un.

A Catholic priest swiped collection-plate donations to pay for drug-fueled sex romps with a heavily muscled S&M “master,” a new lawsuit charges.
Parishioners claim the Rev. Peter Miqueli has stolen at least $1million since 2003 while leading churches on Roosevelt Island and in The Bronx, where he is currently pastor of St. Frances de Chantal in Throggs Neck.
Their suit alleges he used the money to act out unholy fantasies as a sexual “slave,” blowing $1,000 at a time on bondage-and-discipline sessions where a “homosexual sex ‘master’” — identified... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
“This lawsuit seeks to finally put an end to this truly sinful conduct so that St. Frances de Chantal parish can regain the strength, spirituality and faith it once had before Father Miqueli arrived,” the court papers say.
The suit says that during the summer of 2014, maintenance workers at St. Frances de Chantal saw “several unstacked piles of cash, each approximately one foot high, scattered throughout Father Miqueli’s rectory residence.”
In addition to skimming $20 bills from the collection plate there, Miqueli ripped off money raised to buy a new... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Villagers shocked to find metal cables running straight through the MIDDLE of their new housesAnonymous2015-12-11 14:14:18 Post No. 8133
Imagine opening the door to your brand new home only to discover it's uninhabitable and a health hazard.
Well that's exactly what happened to a group of new homeowners from Xindeng town in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province.
Their newly-built villas have wires and cables running straight through the middle of them after village committee and utility companies had failed to coordinate their activities, reports The People's Daily Online. The electricity cables were built before the houses but after the plot was approved for residential development by a local committee.
Sadly the homeowners, most of whom spent their life savings on the villas, only realised the existence of the cables after the land was allocated to them.
They were left with no choice but to build the properties to fit with the cables, hoping the utility companies would remove the wires before the building works completed.
When the group of villagers moved into their new houses in July, they were surprised to see the cables were still existing and they run through the terraced row.
The metal cables run straight through the kitchens, corridors, staircases, the living room and the master bedrooms.
The wires are so thick - some with a diameter of six inches.

One of nine top fugitive Rwandan genocide suspects, a former mayor accused of crimes against humanity, has been arrested in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the United Nations has said.
Ladislas Ntaganzwa is accused of organising "the massacre of thousands of Tutsis at various locations", the UN-backed Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals (MICT) said in a statement issued on Thursday, a day after the arrest.

Though I doubt many are going to concern themselves with this article, I find it pretty interesting that they've caught this person after such a long time. Apparently the US had a decent bounty for his capture. I doubt we'll hear anything enlightening when he goes to trial, but I feel like the more press cases like these get, the more chance African countries that are willing to, can start to recover from past horrors and prevent further increases in conflict, especially ethnically motivated conflicts.
>>8050 so... how true is the official story? It portrays the massacre as one sided, but in reality we only have the word of the winners against no proper record, any attempt at investigation (like sampling those skulls there) is called out as genocide denialism, and the new president in office is US-backed.
Also, which side actually killed the previous president.
I find it very hard to believe that the genocide was so one-sided as the official story goes, and "innocent until proven guilty" only applies to... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
