Man I wish Toyota exported manual transmission Mark II
I wish Fr wasn't so rare
Hey guys, first time here. Got a cobalt ss/sc and want to get some stuff for it but dont know where to start. Anyone have some ideas on what to upgrade first?
Pic related; its my shit box
Start by swapping to 2008-spec FE5 struts and shocks with Powell Race Parts YYZ lowering springs.
I know these cars inside and out
Also, supercharged cars have 18" wheels. Those look like 17"ers. The 17" SS style wheels were only on 2006-2007 Cobalt SS N/A which weren't supercharged. The SS N/A cars used a 175 HP 2.4L Ecotec. no turbo, and no supercharger.
Trust me, it's a worthy first mod. Don't doubt me. I am the guru of the Delta cars
With the proliferation of ethanol in fuel this day and age
How would presently produced engines work with just straight moonshine?
Almost 2016. Post dashboards. Show us your current mileage before the year ends.
I put almost 10k miles on it this year
Hey /o/, I managed to get my truck stuck in the snow tonight, and I realized that I need to know more about how cars work. I don't have any knowledge whatsoever when it comes to cars, so any links to basic walkthroughs of how things work, would like to know about basic engine operation, driveline operation, just basic things really to start. I am looking at buying my first car soon, and suggestions would be nice as well (I am currently reading through the sticky.) Thanks for any help, advice, or anything of the sort!
>pic for attention
I got my first car roughly six months ago, a Vauxhall nova 1.2. I'd suggest a small engine for cheap insurance. Look for low milages, service history and a car that has been looked after or can be. Do some browsing and you'll get to grips with the do's and don't's of maintaince I'm sure, such as over greasing with under seal a common cover up for big problems underneath.
Can someone pleeease help me find this spoiler for my 2010 civic so been looking forever and its killing me
What have you got lined up /o?
I'll be ruining my car with exhaust and lowering springs.
Fourchan, this is not the most original thread ever. But I am about to buy pic attached, WRX 2002. Basic bitch that I am, ca.9000$.
180.000km,100.000 miles. Good condition, complete service history. Exhaust n intake slightly modified, morette lights or original as a choice. Oil is 5W40, but changed frequently.
I have the money, but I should spend it on other things. Plus, I would rather have a marvellous blue/gold blobeye for 15.000$, which I won't spend.
Stop me, please?
You guys do realize that Death by Snek is a meme, right? You would have to be an imbecile to do so.
The first gens were definitely way overpowered for the chassis and were insane compared to other cars coming out in the early 90s especially for the price, I think the reputation was well deserved in the beginning. As they evolved though I agree that they aren't particularly crashy or dangerous compared to most other performance cars.
Should I feel bad for actually wanting one of these?
Who Talon/Eclipse/Laser here?
These things are the ubiquotous beat-to-shit raceboi car.
I want one so badly, but are they are either fwd, BADLY damaged exterior, a bajillion mods or simply cant start.
I hope you can find one in 2016 anon
i mean just 1 year less until amerifriends can import type Rs
My parents got me these beauties for Christmas, along with racing seat covers. For my autotragic Cobalt with 155hp and dollar store tires.
what are some of the lightest pickups/trucks available in the US?
I need rwd only and ground clearance
by lightweight I mean well bellow 2,800 pounds...

late 90's tacoma and Nissan Frontier is probably your best bet.
