Hey guys i have a question about driving and i hope you can help me with it. I'm trying to get my driving licence and there is one thing that bothers me whenever i drive a car for practice.
When i change the gears, i have to hold the clutch, right? and then when i have changed the gear successfully from say 2nd to 3rd, i have to slowly take my foot off the clutch and gas at the same time, correct?
well my problem is, whenever i go through this process, my car starts to shake abit. like jumps a few times. its hard to explain but its not smooth movements. i want to...

>i have to slowly take my foot off the clutch and gas at the same time, correct?
No, that's only when you're starting from a stop, all you're doing is frying your clutch by slipping it excessively. You can dump the clutch after gear changes.
Jerking is probably because you let the revs fall way too far when shifting

Is Nissan back?
Negro it's already been confirmed it's getting made
So /o I am essentially a starving artist. I have dedicated years at this point to porting and polishing cylinderheads and intake manifolds. Resently work has been extremely slow, what can I do to drum up more business. My prices are fair around $300.00 usd for most import 4 cylinders, this includes gasket match, guide work, bowl blend, short turn reshape, and port divider reshaping. For some reason i end up doing mostly sohc honda stuff.

I own a 2014 Audi A3, and a 1998 toyota corolla, but I always ALWAYS take the corolla whenever I need to go anywhere. I don't know why, but I love it to death, it's so fun to drive, no matter how slow it is. Why? Shouldn't the Audi be leagues more fun? I don't get it, /o/
It could be that you have common sense that you aren't aware of and drive the hell out of the reliable car and leave the more fragile one at home until special occasions. That's what id do anyway if i had a combination of cars like that.
If you own a C5 vette and a Ferrari 575 don't take the ferrari out as much.
Just answering your question with my theory not trying to troll :^)
because it's an honest loyal companion, not an up-sold golf dreamt up by some marketing dept
Any reason not to purchase a 2005 Honda Civic Ex manual?
>127 HP? Lolwut
Is the VTEC engine really slow due to such a low HP or does the magic of VTEC make it pretty snappy? I'm not looking to race but I don't want to snails pace either.
You dont buy a honda to go fast, with the exception of a type R
However like most hondas you can swap in a different engine, dump a few grand into it and make 300 to the front wheels, which is the only place the power should ever be desu
when there's snow outside. Or even worse "all seasons'.
You'd never do that, right /o/?

All hail the now and forever king of American shitboxes.
>go in to dealer for warranty maint.

Why do people get upset over youngins driving fancy cars? pic related is an extreme example but topic isn't limited to supercars.
Not sure if troll
>they didn't EARN it so it's some resentment
>they don't respect where it comes from (because they didn't earn it)
>it's a fashion accessory
There ya go faggot.
Chinks are the only people I see with Maseratis
I figure this is either because Maserati is technically inferior to other supercar brands and the chinks don't know that in their quest for status or because Maserati has some niche popularity in China like Buick does.
1.things are better when you don't earn them
2.thats just silly, everyone appreciates a lamborghini. you're forced to look at millions of "regular" cars every day, you will automatically be drawn to
I should report you for your anti-islam post.

- they're more efficient
- much smaller of course
- cheaper to build
- way more lively
- sound incredibly better than inline 4s
I'm sick of those decades of inline 4 engines.
they're fucking lazy, too nowadays.
>meh, don't spool me up to 5000, I don't like that
>meh, there u have your full torque at 1300, now let me be u meanie
>stop revving me wahwahhh
they're innately unbalanced and need heavy balancing components to make them not shit. any smoothness you get is because of heavy and complex additions added to the engine.
2001 Audi B5 S4. 155k. Black on black, loaded. Two owners, all work done by Audi, including timing, belts (all the expensive stuff). I'm thinking ~7k asking price. I think its reasonable. Should I ask for more? Pic related... same car but the windows aren't tinted.
