>new GTR will drive itself around the track
>new Z will be a crossover
is there any brand more cucked than nissan right now?
Whats it like to DD one of these?
What kind of mileage did you get out of a full tank?
Getting bored of my commuter car.
>Whats it like to DD one of these?
It's comfy, you'll have no power and everybody will think you're a cop
>What kind of mileage did you get out of a full tank?
Look elsewhere if you don't want to pay V8 gas costs for I4 power.
Had one for 6 years and 300,000 miles. They're solid reliable cars that are comfy as fuck and cheap for everything. Gas mileage wasn't great (24mpg or so) but it's a great car otherwise.
Which one should I get? Budget is about 15k and I need 4 doors. These are the two cars I've narrowed it down to.
>better gas mileage
>transmission is less of a slush box
>can get a lower mileage one for less
>worse sounding engine
G8 GT Pros:
>dat glorious v8 rumble

Anyone know much about the Ver7 sti wheels? Are they forged or cast? Some guy in my area wants to trade for 17 inch stock 11 wrx wheels.
Why do people do this?
this car sucks
Prepare for hell.
Holy shit it's no longer satire
Didn't see a thread, but what does /o/ think of the Focus RS?
It seems to be getting rave reviews. I'm considering buying one. While buying new isn't the best idea it seems like production will be limited which should help it maintain value over the years.
How does /o/ keep the rust off of their cars, especially in the winter with all of the shitty salt everywhere?
Do you just spray the underside of your car once a week?
I'm thinking of buying a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X MR Touring as a "Mature Daily Driver".
Main reasons are I'm getting older and while I've driven manuals most of my life (I've owned 16 cars), I want something comfortable, but still can have fun with.
The MR Touring model offers the same AWD and turbocharged sedan package that we all know and love, but it adds TC-SST transmission (no clutch pedal), heated leather seats, sunroof, great audio, some sound deadening, and finally gets rid of that huge wing.
My question for my br/o/thers is what are some things I should look out for in Evo X's? What are the overall costs of ownership? Anyone here own one? Would a good alternative be a Ralliart? Are there any good alternatives in general?
I have a problem with a mechanic and I need some advice /o/.
I took my car in to have to have heads resurfaced, the block bored and milled, the gaskets replaced, and put back together.
While he was dragging his feet to get all this done, he filed for a lien on my car for a total of around $6400.
And so went to go pick up my car because it was supposed to be done. And he said he was waiting on a coolant pipe to come in because it was leaking.
So, I asked for a bill. He refused to print me out a bill. And wouldn't let me pay for it. So, I called...

Get an attorney. It's going to go there might as well get the ball rolling now.
Also try to sue him for everything you possibly can, emotional distress, say you lost wages because you couldn't get to work or some shit.
Also might be time to visit him in the middle of the night with a lead pipe and I'm not talking to fix the plumbing.
>we dare you to fucking run
>mid-tier asian engineering combined with german-"""inspired""" design
why doesn't /o/ love Lexus?
>mister toyoda-san, how do we make filthy American pigs buy more car?
make it more pointy
add all the points
Besides a few exceptions, Toyota have always struggled with styling.
The face on modern Lexii is hideous.
The fact that they perhaps drive only 95% as good as the competition doesn't seem like an issue irl, I doubt many people take their C63 or M3 on track days, and personally I would trade it for the reliability and slightly softer edges.
I want to create a device to deter/harrass/kill tailgaters. Ideally, it will be a blinding light that comes out of the trunk; operated by 1 or 2 button (open/close trunk and on/off lights or dual function switches open&on/close&off); a device electrically powered to open and the hard part to close the trunk; also whether it should run off its own power or the car's battery. Let me know what you all agree to and I will definitely post pics in the future if you are interested.
HID would be simple im sure there are kits and everything for an easy install. Seems stupid to put them in the reverse lights. I still want normal light functions for everyday use and try to look inconspicuous. Seems like a cop might ask questions if there is blinding light if i have to back up. As of getting out of the way I live in New Jersey worst drivers ever! Never seen such idiots before.
So I've been looking for a fun manual car to replace my autotragic Cobalt. Pretty much everything I've looked at was between 6k to 9k, which is enough to get you a good, recent car.
But since I'm going to end up replacing it in under 2 years anyway (I have a career in the military lined up) so I figure I might as well get a cheap car so I can save towards my next one. Potentially as low as 2k.
Is the shitbox life suffering or is a couple years in a dated car not all that bad? On that note, how is the ZX2 S/R?
