Just got an '06 5.7 Hemi AMA
Do you think Snek ever come back?
>the only thing that could defeat the Viper in the end was the government
Rest in peace, Snek
What time would a 4x2 2007-2013 Silverado 1500 with the 4.3L V6 get on the Nürburgring with and without factory mudflaps?
Mudflaps might add a half second or so.
Kinda sad how that truck is faster than 80% of cars in Europe.
Why are Miatas so fucking expensive now? I really want an rwd funbox and I can't find one of these in any condition under five grand.
Every automotive channel and website hyped them up to no end
The market went from selling pristine $2500 examples to clapped out $5000 ones in just 5 years.
Blame faggots like RCR for it.
>I have $10k to put down on a nice coupe.
>Suggest some badass coupes that help me get some ass.
>Texas hoes here I cum!!
did I screw up badly? It's the 1.8l with 125hp, 162.000km, 1300€, no rust, no a/c.
It's so comfy!
>German sports car
>AWD, DCT, 9 gears, 2 turbos, 8 driving modes, 5 steering modes, 7 suspension modes, 3 electric motors, torque fill, regenerative braking, water injection, torque vectoring, launch control, active aero, carbon fiber, sound symposer
>American sports car
>manual and a V8
Which philosophy do you prefer?
>Tfw too tall for your favourite car
If my mechanic can't find anything wrong with either car, what would be the safer buy between a Honda Accord 2006 with 96k or a Toyota Camry 1998 with 60k. Assuming their is nothing seriously wrong which would be more reliable for 23k miles a year?
What would you consider the easiest engine swap is for a Fiero?
What would be the best swap?
What would be the cheapest swap?
So I found this here where I live at a used car dealer.
It's a '94 with 75k miles, and wait for it, a fucking 6-speed manual.
What I want to ask is, how is the best way of going about obtaining it.
I drive a 2004 S-Line Audi A6. I'm more than willing to trade it in.
My credit is nonexistent. Only thing on it is when my mom go a cell phone in my name back in like 2007 and never paid it.
I have no cash on hand, but I do have a guaranteed monthly income.
Is there any way I can get this car, or am I fucked?
Fuck I want it so bad. It's absolutely perfect.
95% of the super/hyper car owners don't know jack shit about them except they paid for them.
Torn between these, really. Found both models, pre-owned, around the same price. What does /o/ suggest?
>80s or 90s (so nice styling)
>fun to drive
Is it possible? I've been driving a 1981 E21 but I can't afford to drive it anymore; there's just too many problems from previous owner.
If you can find a running E30 with a manual why not try for that
>falling for the vape tax
I have the chance to buy a mid 60s Volvo Amazon (122s?) here in the states for $1k. Guy says it only needs brakes repaired.
I know nothing about classic cars, esp European. This a good buy?
don't listen to this faggot OP, I'd talk him down a little but it's very easy to swap later Volvo motors in these if the original is beyond saving
that said, prepare to invest a lot of time and at least a few grand to get it roadworthy, if you can't don't buy it because it will just rot away in your yard
Hey, guys, this might be the wrong place to post this, but I thought it might be appropriate so here it goes.
I am really really scared of merging onto the highway. I do not have a license and will be required to merge onto I-35 for my driving test, but it's quite daunting to me. Is there some kind of free or cheap driving tutorial software or something where I can virtually practice doing something like this?
Never see anyone here discuss Suzuki Swifts.
what do you think of em? Would you own one?
I had a Baleno (I think it's called Esteem in some other places).
Had a 1.6l engine producing 105hp but that thing was lightweight and went like stink.
I fucking loved it but the transmission was made of glass and one day mine had a failing transmission (at 180k km) like tons of other Balenos. The 1.8l engine fucks up the transmission even faster.
Swift looks cool but no idea about the quality of that car.
I've got a 2008 swift auto
It never knows when to change gears
Some days I floor it and it'll hit redline and it truly is swift
Some days I floor it and nothing will happen
What a weird car
What's the ~fastest~ comfortable, reliable wagon or crossover pre-2010 for under 10k (preferably 7k or less actually)? Hatchbacks excluded, looking for something built for men not manlets. looking at mercedes e500 (hard to find, repairs super expensive), subaru tribeca (08 plus is much more expensive that 06-07, better engine though), toyota rav4 v6 (terrible interior, meh exterior), CX-7, or the nissan murano.
pic related, tribeca interior.
Would you consider carburetion an art? and Electronic fuel injection a science?
would mechanical fuel injection be a black art?
ive always thought carb engines looked prettier. fuel injection makes them look like they are on life support.
I'm a function over form kind of guy. Meaning I care more about how something performs rather than how it looks. I've never owned a carbed vehicle, and I think they're outdated technology.
That being said: I've always really liked the way they looked. Absolutely beautiful mechanisms. The individual throttles are what get me the most.
Found these fuckers laying around just now
>rear wheel speed sensor faulty, replace
>cracked exaust manifold, replace
Dealer cost, P+L $792
Thank god im mechanically inclined
>general "what chu workin on this weekend" thread.
Its so i can get the tires off easier, duh. Heres one of me working on a turbo hose
>you are the reason people troll on here so much
I've bought pic related to learn driving rwd. They are dirt cheap in Europe, reliable and tons of repairs. It is the 2.6, I6 166hp.
How would you mod it?
Right now its stock with a momo wheel and stick shift, I'll put ta technik full suspension and probably slk mkI wheels as they are very light.
Spain. Living in northern africa has its (few) good points.
I've bought this for 1k€.
It has ABS, ASD (that's sort of a slip diff), air con, central locking, electric mirror... not bad for being from 1987.
Mysummmercar is going to be out on steam this monday.
Are you m/o/ngoloids ready?
>live opposite of flinlnald
>felling trees, logging and making firewood for money
>fixing broken vehicles
>driving across country roads avoiding drunk drivers and police
wow if I only had a beat up project car it'd be literally my early adulthood the game
The ideal engine configuration
ITT: Pick a manufacturer you think is shit, explain why, then post a car they make that you actually like.
Mercedes makes overpriced unreliable slushbox shit for niggers and Indians, but the C63 AMG sounds and looks pretty fucking shit hot.
Chebby makes garbage vehicles for trailer trash, and the only reason they still exist, along with the rest of GM is because of "muh american manufacturing" but thier 50s era corvettes are my pre 80s car waifus.
>700 pounds of useless luxury bullshit constantly slowing you down
i guess you'd be used to that if you're an oil-money sand-nigger who can't row your own gears, hence the purchase of a merc in the first place.
How do Audi keep getting away with ripping off Lambo? Same engine pretty much, same gearbox, almost the same interior.
Audi is one of the biggest manufacturers in the business, it's not like Lambo couldn't know this is happening, do they just not care?
Daily reminder that AWD is always superior to RWD in handling provided the manufacturer lightens other components of the car to offset the additional weight of the AWD system.
How much would you guess it will cost to lease one of these things? And if you're in know on the matter, how much could I hope for the net cost to be if I'm writing it off as a business expense?
If it $75,000 on a 3 year lease it's $1,100 per month. If my business would be willing to write that off for me as a company car then it might cost somewhere around $600-700 if I use some real fuckery? I'd pull the trigger for that ~$25,000 in total and the car would depreciate more than that in 3 years
