Well boys, daddy bought a twin turbo Audi today.
Go ahead and tell me how stupid I am.
2007 g6 3.5 power steering cooling line/return line leaking, I know how to disconnect it but, how do I get it out of there and get the new one back in it's extremely tight and no way that I can see to work it around all the shit it needs to fit around without damaging the new line...any experience or tips/tricks?
Who could hate a car that annihilates its competition?
Are these cars good daily drivers? Considering picking one up. Any suggestions and things to look for?
Can someone post that picture that says HOLY SHIT IS THAT A P71
>good daily drivers
Depends on what you look for in a DD. I like mine because it's comfortable and fun enough to drive but it won't stay my DD once I get my rustang back up and running. It's not slow exactly, but it's not really fast either. It's got a lot of space and decent seats though. P71's are pretty lacking on amenities, if that bothers you.
Some people worry about gas mileage despite gas being cheap as shit, if you're one of them it's definitely not the car for you. I recommend finding one with a trac-lok rear end. Not all P71's had it as an option but most people don't even know if they have it or not so it usually doesn't add anything to the price and it makes it a much more fun car to own. People like to talk about them. I thought it was neat when I first got my mustang and people would come up at the gas pump or in parking lots to talk about it even though they're common as shit. Then I got my crown vic which is even more common and frankly less impressive yet people still want to come up and ask about it constantly.
Overall it's a decent daily driver. Mostly got mine because it was cheap and shared enough critical parts with my mustang that it made sense to do so. I don't regret it and plan to hang on to it. Can fit fishing rods inside without bending or breaking them down and can fit a jon boat or kayak on top easily or tow a boat behind since they can town a couple of tons without issue.
Remember the good ol' days when every car had the legit fonts/logos scanned in like this? Why did they get rid of this?
>Go to site
>Find cars with sick fonts and logos
>Bring them here
Fuck off, cunt. This deserves its own thread.
Anyone else plan on buying a Toyota SFR when it comes out?
Doesn't really suit my purpose, unfortunately. I'm bloody glad it exists, though, regardless of how good it ends up being. Cheap, light, rwd platforms are an important raw material for car culture in general.
I feel really guilty about this one but I don't plan on buying it new. It's really the kind of car that I want manufacurers to make and it doesn't seem like it'll be very expensive even new. But fuck me if I'm going to miss out on buying it for 20-30% less, I'm not made out of money man. I've got bills to pay here.
1. How does tire pressure affect drivability? I know they're massively deflated for drag and racecars, but for road cars, what does it do? Heard of people adjusting for drifting, how do?
2. Can fwd drift?
(Inb4 fwd can compete fags) , couple of my friends say it can cuz muh /vg/ but I want to know.
3. How hard is it to "bolt on a turbo". Does this kill reliability? Is it meme or mandatory?
Feel free to ask your own friend-/o/s
1) changes the contact patch and how the tire reacts to load. tire pressure lets you fine tune the dynamics of your car as long as the tire stays in the optimal temperature range. but driftfags are retarded so they probably just pump them up to reduce contact patch = easier to slide.
3) a turbo isn't a bolt on mod by any stretch of the imagination. and the second part of your question is more complicated than just yes or no. on a street car with low boost, no it shouldn't affect reliability if done properly.
so what exactly am i fucking supposed to do when im driving fast to remain safe? when car crash videos are posted everyone is an expert on what he did wrong.
but what DO I DO if i go into a corner and realize i'm going a little too fast??? you're not supposed to lift on the throttle so what, just driftking the corner? what are basic "dos and donts" of driving a canyon/country road quickly. everyone seems to be an expert on this but i must have missed that class.
>what are basic "dos and donts" of driving a canyon/country road quickly
1. Know the road extremely well. Every turn, bump, patch of worn out asphalt. Think of waking up in the middle of the night and taking a piss and going back to bed without waking up completely.
2. Know your car extremely well. What it can and can't do.
3. Drive fast and hope no one from the other direction swerves into your lane.
Don't be a stupid kid and drive responsibly.

A buddy is thinking of selling me his 1987 nissan D21 for $500. It has around 300,000 miles and a bad alternator. Good buy?
(pic is not the truck)
>He doesn't run SuperTech™
How does it feel to pay too much for oil?
>Walmart brand oil
No thanks, i'll keep paying $25 for a case of Mobil1
Although with the pieces of shit most people on this board drive, I could see someone wanting to use supertech
How many revs are you turning over on the freeway?
1500 because I drive an American v8 and not a shitbox Jap 4banger

Why are there no Chinese cars being sold in the United States? Is it cheaper just to build for the domestic market than try to meet US standards?
What is the best station wagon and why is it the Subaru Outback?
When do you think will we not be able to fit our heads through car windows anymore?
I say the first car like that will come out in 2019.
Alright /o/. I wanna know who wins on a downhill touge, 2012 mustang gt or 2012 civic Si.
