Hey guys, I'm thinking about buying a certified pre-owned 2014 Subaru Crosstrek. Anything I should know about these cars? It's only got 30k on it and they're asking $19k for it. Are they good cars?
I already know I'm going to like it more than my pos Jeep Liberty that I'm trading in for it.
I drive a 1990 acura legend manual coupe, most interesting thing I can do with it?

Post your headunits/speakers/amps.
>$30k car in second-highest trim level
>no android/ios interface
>no ecu settings of any kind
>has rear camera but no radar
at least it doesn't take 30 seconds to start up, I guess.
>easy to integrate
>goes great with any interior
>none of the features you don't need

Will the Nismo Sentra save Nissans bland line up? Was a Nismo version of an economy shitbox a good idea? Why not a refresh of the Z series or Skyline series?
Picked up a new MR2 and did some mods to it, tell me what you think.
What does /o/ think about Work 03s?
Recently acquired a 2000 chevy Silverado with crank windows, but the Mexicans who had it before broke the handles and proceeded to use vice grips as handles in turn gnawing all the spline off the little stud thing that sticks out for the handle to go on, my question is this, What is that splined stud thing called? can I buy a replacement stud piece individually or would I have to buy the entire mechanism and if so whats it called? Thanks
anyone else /highmileage/ here?
Post your high mileage autos (preferably cars not trucks)
Pic related 292k miles (470k km) and counting, still a comfy DD.
Hey /o/, show me some nice dashboards, particularly dashboards in cheap cars, and very widespread models.
You understand what i'm talking about, just show me the nicest dashes from the middle class motorpool
as i said earlier, i want the members of /o/ to to post the types of dashboards(or instrument clusters, i'm not sure what the word is) that they think are aesthetically pleasant. moreover, i'd like the clusters posted to belong to cheap, affordable cars and also, cars that are very widespread around the world.
so, no sportcars, classic cars, hypercars etc.
just clusters that belong to the working man's car
2006 infiniti m35 and 45 interior - can't seem to find a full picture of it in red
What does /o/ think about Roush?
saw a post on a mechanical engineering forum outlining good engineering practices.
which manufacturer first comes to your mind that ignores most, if not all of these rules?
Red pill me on vinyl wraps.
I've been saving up to do a color change on my car, but I have some friends that swear up and down that vinyl is the way to go. I've seen a few cars that I honestly had to inspect because I didn't realize it was vinyl, so I think it could work.
Don't skimp on the guy applying it.
That said, not skimping on an actual paint job is gonna run about three times as much. The failure mode for a wrap looks a lot worse than the gentle gradual failing of a decent paint job but is a shitload cheaper to redo.
Vinyl for accents or for paint protection on the front (in place of a bra).
Wrapping the entire vehicle is idiotic and will ultimately look like frayed garbage within a year.
A just get a professional paint job and don't listen to your shit friends.
I'm going to definitely get a reputable shop to do it for me. I've seen some vinyl nightmares, but I guess the good thing is if my hood bubbles I can just wrap the hood again. Right?
I would imagine the color match process is pretty straightforward since it's printed. I park inside most of the time anyway, so I think fading would be minimal.
How hard is it to convert an automatic to a manual?
If it comes in manual, so difficult that it would be wiser to just sell it and buy a manual. If it didn't come in manual, a heroic undertaking requiring lots of custom fabrication
Appears to be pepperoni
Can we all just admit that it's nice to have a car that has 90-100% of it's factory components working? This thread is mainly here to piss off benchfags who ride the bus.
>scooter aftermarket exhausts
This is a thing? This is really a thing that people spend money on?
Racing is starting soon. Drivers' meeting just ended.
>tfw you will never build a Cadillac 500 powered BOP compact gasser to run in Drag Week
And I mean, let's chat for real, without the recycled /tv/ and /sp/ memes clogging up the discussion.
Longer story short, I drove a cr-z for the first time the other day. I liked the experience, but that might be because my regular car is an insight and I have no self-respect.
My friend that was riding along with me liked it for the most part, but afterwards said he couldn't handle it - he said it was blueballing him and it pissed him off, as it wouldn't give him any extra power around 5k RPM which ruined it, as he drives a '99 prelude.
We basically decided that it was the engine that was holding it down, and everything else was fucking great.
BUT THAT'S ITS FUCKING THING.
IT'S A HYBRID.
So the question is, do hybrids even have a point? Was it even worth it in the end? They're like netbooks, the shitty missing link between laptops and tablets, that really have nothing that you want. Compromise that excels at nothing.
Was there ever a way to get this car right? Was there ever a chance? To get good mpg while maintaining performance?
Were hybrids a mistake?
Partner had a CR-Z which I drove a lot - it's a car for a very specific niche which Honda handled incredibly badly - it's handsome and handles very well, with a chassis that could handle a much more powerful engine - they needed to have a version with a proper 2L VTEC engine in there and ditch the batteries and motors. The fuel eco never ever justified the weedy 1.5L + strap-on junk. Struggled to hit 50mpg - something the larger 200bhp diesel Volvo I have manages with ease (more like 60-70mpg) and with...

Hi /o/, this thread is just a quick reminder that Group B is never coming back.
Daily reminder that GM has LITERALLY NEVER won a group C race
How did Group B not kill more people?
I can't find it, but there's footage from inside the Audi as it crests the hill and the driver is basically driving flat out at a sea of people, it's insane.
I need a newish, big 4 door car, preferably with leather seats which get's around 30mpg combined, meaning probably a hybrid. I can go new or used but I'm going to be pouring on miles for the next 3 years so nothing high mileage. I'm trying to stay under $23,000.
I'm looking at an Accord, Avalon and Fusion hybrids right now. What's /o/'s advice?
this looks salaryman enough, no?
I thought about getting a 2.5l Fusion with the lux package but dicked around with a 2.5 for two days and couldn't get the average MPG on it to push past 25. They're dumping the 16' hybrid models at pretty much the same price as the gas models in my area at the moment so I'm leaning more towards hybrids all around. I average about 160 miles daily and my area is full of hills and stop and go shit so adds up fast.
Fast beautiful wagons thread
lol, it's uglier than our gm kombi

Anyone know where can i download Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D Final D Selection Disc 1 and 2?
I'm looking to buy either a Mazda 6 or 3, a Honda civic, or a Toyota rav4. What are the pros and cons of each and which in your opinion is the best? My only problem with the Mazda is that the design is already 4 years old and will be outdated soon.
>character breaks into a car
>opens sun visor
>the keys fall out
do Americans actually do this?
there are some really small towns in the middle of buttfuck nowhere where everyone knows each other and the town has a pop of like <500 people that do it. In the town where one of my aunts live they literally leave the keys in the ignition half the time and all of their shit unlocked cause everyone just stops in to say hello throughout the day, so they just leave everything open for them.
>Ford and Honda work together on new S2000
The original S2000 was the world-record holder for monst Horses per engine liter
Imagine a 4-cylinder with VTEC.... AND Ecoboost
If you were rich af, what car would you buy for your wife?
Me : Benz GLE63 AMG
>have 2001 Toyota Camry
>headlight is out
>never changed one before but YouTube it and it's fairly simple
>new headlight doesn't light up
>jiggle it and it works fine
>turn lights off and on again to make sure
>put headlight back together
>it doesn't work

You have a bad contact somewhere. Just check the contacts of the bulbs/sockets for suspicious spots and if that doesn't yield any results, follow the wires inside the headlamp. This is simple anon, you can do it. Post pics if necessary.
i saw this weird looking car at night. can anyone tell me what car this is?
Quite literally the best car colour ever
It's a goodun if you can find a car that it matches. It makes %80 of cars look like shit.
I think you meant to say it makes 80% of cars look godly
