Getting one of these installed Friday. Any dos or donts. Anyone one that has had it did it help cut on your drinking?
Just hypothetically, could you get around one of these by putting alligator clips on the starter and jumping it? Or push start if its a manual? I don't have one, just curious as to how they work
Nice looking cars from shitty manufacturers thread?

Is drifting really the ideal way to take corners or is grip driving better?
Drifting is fun, not practical
Even rally racers try not to drift because it causes you to loose speed.if your tires are not directly to connected to the road you are loosing speed
Is street racing fun?
WHY ARE YOU POSTING THE SAME GODDAM THREAD EVERY FUCKIN DAY
Alright guys i start my new job as a GM Tech next month back home! I just finished up 2 years at NEIT and am excited to start my journey on this new road.
One thing though, I need to order tools to keep at the dealership. Through the school I have a $5K limit and can be paid off over 2 years and everything is 50% off! So that means I have the option to order $10K worth of tools (with tax) at the cost of $5K and can pay it. off over 2 years.
My wuestions for any other techs on here, what set would you suggest I buy for an entry level position that contain almost...

I found a Blue 2005 WRX wagon for sale near me with 250k body miles, and an engine with 50k-60k miles on it from a small dealer that deals only in Subarus. The body inside and out is in pretty good condition, and the engine has low miles. The dealer is asking about $7000 for it. Is this a fair price? Anything I should look out for?
ricerfag here. I have a question and sort of in need of your opinions.
I drive an 8th gen civic si. It's great and all, put around 10k on the clock.
However, I want to start to modify and an older EG hatch has caught my attention.
Should I sell the 8th gen to buy the older hatch and build it up, or stick with the 8th gen and leave stock?
Rule #1 - always have a bone stock DD
If you finances are bad enough that you'd have to sell your shitbox to get another shitbox, you should be saving your money.

What era had the most reliable cars?
What would £500 or the equivalent of get you in your country?
>Mg zr 160 with a bit of cosmetic work done
What is /o/'s thoughts on wheel camber, from my understanding a little bit can help you round corners better, but a lot of it and its useless and ruins your tires 4x as fast.
The OP pic is dumb. There are configurations where a mild amount of camber and toe is appropriate and helpful. The OP pic is a example of a broken and poorly functioning car. It is a demonstration of how a car should not perform.
To be clear: this is not opinion, the car is broken and does not operate correctly. Is is a fact.
ITT: cars that have aged well
I'll start with the first gen Mazda 3
>released in 2003
I agree. Someone will post a catfish camaro within the first 4 posts.
I'll bite though OP. I'd say almost all Mazdas from last Gen have aged well.

I have about 4k and I need a decent car that is a little quick. I don't care about about ride quality and shit like that. I work on cars here and there so I know my way with a wrench. Any suggestions? I was thinking a 300zx just to cruise in as my Daily
Small/mid awd wagons that aren't subaru? Us market, Ohio
That's kind of Subaru's thing. There's probably some German cars that fit the bill but most of those aren't available for the US market.
If you can deal with FF, there's the accord and camry station wagon
So I'm studying and working part time, kinda want something practical that isn't too high maintenance.
I was looking at BMW 120d -05, 320d, MB CLK 320 -98 etc
Hell, even at a Mx-5 because I thought it would be fun.
Thing is, I drive motocross every weekend and I can't always use the company truck to go.
So I thought of getting a car with a hitch, to drive to the track whenever I felt like it.
I guess that eliminates my mx-5 fantasy..
Thoughts on cheap reliable cars suited for it? budget at 4000 ~ euros. Yeah, I live in...

>just ordered a 2017 Subaru WRX limited
>friends on fb start making vaping jokes
What the fuck? Seriously? I'm actually upset that WRX owners are now stereotyped as vapefags. Had I known about this prior to ordering my car I would have considered something else

>With a Class-Exclusive 160-horsepower turbo engine+, nearly 50/50 weight distribution, a responsive four-wheel independent suspension, electric power steering and a convertible top, what could be better?
What are your predictions? Will it get me a GF?
Items can get you laid, anon. They can't get you good relationships tho.
Anyway no. That car would be pretty great with 200 horses, and god-tier weekend car with 250. But it doesn't have that. Also, Fiat engine = reliability issues, 50/50 actually isn't the ideal f/r ratio, and this car is a jewel for the used market, not the new one.
Here in Germany, everyone seems to drive an Audi nowadays. You literally dont see anything else. I cant stand it anymore.
The worst thing is that the newer models all look exactly the same! Why buy a car when you see a clone every other second on the streets?
I get it, Audi is quality made in Germany, but its like a plague!
Even the lowclass Turks which drove BMW and Mercedes in the past, switched to Audi.
Is this the same in other Euro countries? Maybe even in the USA?
I want to get my nephew into /o/
where are the best places to buy Toy cars based on real car models?
Does doing this get expensive?
They can be pretty damn pricey depending on brand and detail. If anything just take his ass to rite aid/CVS/Walgreens and let him get the lil cars they sell by the icecream/registers.
Any specific brands?
I always thought matchboxes were the go to cars but it looks like they just do fantasy made up cars now?
are there any companies that do 80s/90s jap cars to be more specific.
Have a 3 year old son. You can buy toy cars at walmart for between $1-$5. There is a mix of fantasy and real cars.
If you want the larger, more detailed models with opening doors and hood they sell them at truck stops usually and can run $20 or more.
Opinions? Cop or not?
if you had 1 mil to spend on cars or a car what would you get

Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale
Ferrari F355 Spider
Porsche 997 Carrera 4S
New Viper ACR
Banana yellow (like picture related) 1994 Viper.
Audi RS2 Avant
Don't think i went over 1 million.
