/o/, my gf bought a 2002 Chrysler Sebring
did she fuck up
Why is 80s aero so sexy?
It was Geometrically simple while remaining efficiently functional.
Then in the 90s computers became powerful enough to allow for the accurate simulation and design of alien-looking organic aero
It was the early stages of aero where it was more about what people thought was aerodynamic, not nearly as much wind tunnel testing was done if at all, and there were engineering constraints to what they could actually build as well.
The No Man's Sky of cars
Looking for a sporty somewhat practical coupe, what are /o/'s opinions on the Rx8?
buy a civic and gtfo
I drove a del sol as my learning to drive/first car and drove another del sol as my second car. I'm still driving my second car though, which means I have no experience with other cars (that I like).
What are the pros and cons of this car? Like I heard the chassis is flexible as fuck but I can't tell for shit since I haven't driven other kinds of cars.
I hear this meme a lot
In my experience fuck yes, women are filthy. Almost every woman I've ever met had garbage all over there car and don't seem to care for the interior at all, and i've lived with sevreal women and they were pigs compared to most guys I know.
Yes. My sister fucking trashed the interior of my car when I lent it to her for a week. Is it that hard to take your god damn trash to the trash can when the car literally gets parked right in front of the god damn trash can? Its like five fucking steps for gods sake.
muribruger here, what's so memetastically wrong with diesel fiats?
Am I cool nao?
>"we thought it would be fun if the rear of the car exploded under pressure, to create a sense of excitement"
What did they mean by this?
Any of you guys had an experience like this getting parts from a dealership?
Looks like shit. Also, why the fuck does the rear window drop down like this?
2016 Civic or 2016 Fit?
They're the same price.
Don't be a faggot, get an S2000.
>roughly 400 to 450hp
DHM's cracked a piston at 424whp
About 250 ish hp for the 1.8 liter. 12 psi ish depending on the turbo
Prev car had a Mazda FEDOHC, stock internals are good to go until 400 hp or so. Current car has a G13B, stock rods and stock (but milled) pistons, stock head gasket and ARP head studs: prev owner was pushing close to 400hp on it but I had to limit it to 12psi cuz I'm a young fag.
Planning on getting a 2017 gti sport when they're released in a couple weeks to supplement my B6 s4.
Any other VAG/o/holics taking the plunge?
Pic related, I'm getting white.
Don't know about the 17 GTI but my friend has a heavily modified 16 Golf R. Great fun little car, he's sunk at least 11k in to it and blows the pants off most exotics. Great interior and I assume the GTI is very similar.
The interior is best in class by far. I love the heated plaid cloth seats which are in the sport.
I was cross shopping the gti with a fiesta ST. There's no question the gti is miles ahead of the fiesta, much more refined for essentially the same price.
Why is it that all Mustang drivers are well aware of the fact that they're the shittiest drivers on the road yet act like they're the exception?
>"Dude, some of these mustang drivers are embarrassing. Not me though! I'm a good driver! I'm not like other mustang owners..."
Are there any trucks that have handbrakes?
I cant enjoy the touge without 420blazing or having a few shots of whiskey. Anyone else the same?
>inb4 edgy replies
What does /o/ think of MK4 GTI's?
Yes i know the rules and this is technically against it, however Im just wondering if anyone else has ever had the same problem i have.
Car revs its self / rough idle / breaths when its idle
yet if i unplug the Mass air flow sensor it runs smooth but w/ engine managment light
Ive just purchased a new MAF but wont get it until tuesday
Im hoping it'd fix it but just wondering has any one ever had this problem?
my car is 318d ES bmw e90 lci 2011 (190k miles on clock 305k KM)
Mass air flow sensor
>front mount license plates required
>front license plates required in my state
>don't do it anyway because it looks retarded on my car
>never been stopped for it
>don't give a fuck
5 years and counting
Should I get an associates degree in CAD drafting and CNC machines so I can have a nice career and build custom stuff for my car on the side? The local CC offers a nice program with certs.
Does anybody here work as a CAD drafter?
I don't anymore. It's boring as fuck. I like working with solidworks but not all day everyday. Unless you find a really unique company it will become extremely repetitive. See if you could get a tour of some of the companies you would consider working for do you can see if the job is a fit for you.
What's the difference between an Si and a Type R?
Si is the more casual, cheaper sport model. Type R is the more costly track focused model. It has more super srs sport suspension and brakes, more powerful engine, and more factory rice.
Why did the oil crisis have to ruin everything? Clearly 1965-1973 is the golden age of automobiles
whyd you post such an ugly fuck car then?
golden age was before '65 mate,
>bbut muh muscle cars!
are these as good as they look?
Basic, crew cab Ram 1500 from 2016. Dealership is selling the floor model for that price flat. IT's a very good deal but:
How easy is it to mod these things? Is it worth it if I want to keep this 2016 model for longer than 5-10 years? Should I just get a 2010-2012 Ford Ranger instead?
I also looked at the suspension. It seems that they're not spring operated but two metal bars that act as springs. How easy is it to lift-kit these?
I thought they had leaf springs like the Ford Rangers (from what I saw) but I don't have a good memory, lol. I know my friend's F-150s can just be disked but leaf springs definitely cannot be which is kinda annoying.
Why are rams shit? New 2016 Colorado maybe?
Your shitbox dd breaks down on a forgotten country road. A strange looking man approaches you and offers to take your car as an even trade for any car on his lot. You look behind him, it looks like an used car lot stuck in the sixties. You see only five cars on his lot.
1. A '94 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 with a Dana 60 on the front, a Dana 80 on the rear, a custom transfer case and 6spd automatic transmission, and powered by a 6.7l cummins.
2. A 2002 Plymouth Neon, modified to be rear engined, rwd, and powered by a twin-supercharged Viper v-10.
