It's no secret that on occasion, an entire song is written for the sole purpose of promoting a car.
I propose a thread to remember these songs.
Here's the most recent.
"Renegades" by X Ambassadors.
The song was written for the exact purpose of promoting the Jeep Renegade CUV. The song has been enormously successful, even reaching #1 on the pop charts in numerous countries.
I know there are other examples. Post them
"Like a Rock" - Bob Seger
First time working with springs so any tips from the pros? Anyone have a dropped tC? Also first 4chan post so sorry if i manage to fuck this up somehow
Questions that don't deserve their own thread.
If it can be answered in a post or two, go ahead and ask it here. If you're lurking, try and scroll the thread, and find some unanswered questions, and see if you can't help another anon out.
Other thread is kill.
Dad got a Cadillac SRX (2011) and asked me to pick up a pair of wiper blades for him on the way home from work.
From what I remember they have a special mount. Am I wrong? What should I buy, as in brand or sth.
>recommend wiper blades for cadillac srx, preferably from autozone or something, no ordering online
Can't answer that but >>13889132
Can someone tell me why the fuck my wipers, even when new, smear? Only in 1 spot too and it's in the middle of my view.
I've bought rainX, and the other brands. Nothing works.
to my br/o/s in BC:
how many mountain roads are there near where you live? is there like one giant road that goes between the mountains and kind of avoids them, or are there twisty mountain roads like in southern California?
Reason I'm asking is because I have family that lives in Vancouver, and I've got a few friends who want to take a road trip next summer to visit it, but only if there's roads worth driving on. If not, then we'll just fly over and stay the week.
Honestly the best roads are in Oregon and Washington.
Everything near Vancouver is either boring, tourist-ridden, full of speed traps and ill-maintained. Sometimes all four. Interior BC has more fun roads.
The drive up would be nice if you plan on avoiding the Freeway. I recommend route 97 through the Yakima valley.
Source: I live in Vancouver.
Last digit decides my next car.
Even = 2007 WRX Sedan
Odd = 2005 G35 Sedan
Do you happen to look like this by any chance? and vape moster flavored nicotine at stance meets?
Post your street racing stories and pictures.
Why isn't /o/ buying these?
>has an after market
>LS already there.
>having a digital dash
>driving a diesel vehicle
>having FI and not carbs
>having the ECU JEW or any kind of electronics controlling anything past timing
>buying from europe
>needing a turbo to go fast
>having engines that go past 6000 rpm
>having a cd player and not a tape player
literally an immediate sign you're driving a shitty car
>not wanting a diesel pickup
op confirmed a kek
My MR2 makes this weird click or (spark arcing sound?) when you push the throttle in the engine bay (by the TPS). Anyone know what it could be coming from?
It sounds louder when warm. Its just one click like a few seconds after you push the throttle.
You lucky motherfucker, better keep it
What's the fastest you've gone on public roads?
fastest that i know i have gone is pic related, im generally not looking at my speedo otherwise.
ITT: we wait
>tfw no GTS-R
Because it's faster around the track. Set 13 lap records
I found a picture of the GTR transmission.
My car started making the rattling noise under the hood and my mechanic just said sell it and buy a new car.
If someone knocked on your door and asked you to sell you a car you rarely drive would you consider it? My local CL is complete shit and full of literal niggers but I've seen some of what I want in my neighborhood, should I walk up and ask the owner?
Sorry if this is retarded, I have mega-autism
So, is there anything on Forza horizon 2 being ported to PC or TDU3? all i want is a free roaming car simulator to get my fix to ease my no-car pain, TDU1 was pretty good, although i hated hawaii, and TDU2 fucked physics so bad they are FUBAR, Horizon 2 seems to be exactly what i want in terms of freeroaming, car list, customization, and etc. But its Xbox one exclusive and its 30 FPS locked. Is there any good new for people like me? Or should i just try to kill myself?
I love Forza due to it's easygoing nature and ability to race street cars, and a shitton of street cars. PC games are unfortunately too focused on shit like LMP cars to be any fun in my eyes.
I think the key is that Forza was/is like the only racing game that wasn't a sim and wasn't an autistic OMG NOS rampage like Need for Speed.
But since Forza is one of Microsoft's crown jewels of the XBone, they won't ever let it go, like how Sony will never let go of Gran Turismo.
I get it, but all of the actual PC simulators are, with no exception, about racetracks. Nothing that allows for freeroam. Forza is as close as it gets to be both a freeroamer and a pretty good sim.
