Should I go for it?
I guess scion memorial thread? I had no idea that the fr-s killed them.
Sleep tight scion.
I still have a bunch of random shift knobs, pedals, and other random shit from when I worked at Toyota and they had just launched the xA and xB, the buyers could "personalize" them by buying tacky crap and we would install them during the PDI. They'll be worth millions now, there is never going to be another OEM Scion shift knob.
What does being a "good" car have to do with being a profitable brand?
Also, fr-s, good.
>makes an extra 40hp with just a CAI, catback, and a tune bro
I'd wager maybe 1 in 100 "tunes" are an actual improvement over the factory one. Making your car run extra rich to make a few more HP on the dyno is going to cause you long term problems while not being noticeable speedwise anyway. You and your stage 2 vapetuner friend do not know more than the OEMs.
Why aren't you researching a car's torque ratio before you buy it, anon?
Alright /o/! Its that time again! scour your local Craigslist and post the gems (good, bad, and crazy)!!!

Is it a good idea to pick up a 2000-2004 Harley Davidson with less than 10k miles?
Are there parts that's susceptible to break down due to age?
Lastly, has there been a major improvement that I would be missing out for not picking up a newer model? Are the older engine still considered fast to today's standards?
The low mileage is a bit concerning due to seals drying out, and I'd check the gas tank for rust inside. Other than that, the new ones are only a bit bigger displacement, as far as fast, it'll go plenty fast enough to kill you. That being said, I own and prefer the Evo over the twin cam, but both engines should easily get to 100k with no problem. Mine is 24 years old and doesn't leak a drop of oil.
