I was driving fast on a wet motorway and my car skidded. I bumped the wall and the steering was all fucked up after that and the car gave a sign "esp inoperative". Nobody else was hit and I managed to get it off the motorway into a residential area. I walked out of the area and While waiting for the taxi a cop car came out of the area and asked me where I was from and had I been drinking. I knew they could tell I was drunk so I said yes and said I came from a pub and they then drove off.
What is the best course of action? I'm not well versed in the law,...

My family is going to Europe in a few months but my dad keeps telling us how we have to "pack light because the rental car isn't going to be that big." According the the rental car company, it's going to be a Renault Fluence or Skoda Octavia or something similar. I've looked at pictures of them but I'm still kinda unsure what the size of them is like. What do we have here in the US that's comparable in size to these cars?
Why does /o/ like to hate on this car?
It's the revival of the cheap 90s japanese sports car, and you fags are shitting on it. Haters should be ashamed, Do you want boring econoboxes?
Its not supposed to be the fastest car of the line, its an supposed to be an entry level sports car. 0-60 in the mid 6s in fine for what it is
That car is a boring econobox in a RWD platform you fool. It isn't cheap either. It's a meme car for tards like you or the best shit box commuter you can buy new. It is not even a decent entry level sports car by any metric. Buy a used car that doesn't suck you fool.
>he intentionally makes his car louder
>he modified the exhaust on his DD
>he intentionally makes his car sound like a weed whacker

What oil pan do you guys use, and do you have any recommendations for oil pans?
post things you really want to purchase but you know it's a fucking terrible idea.
pic related. it's steel blue on black, sport package, rear wheel drive, manual e46 touring. I think like a few hundred of these were ever made and it's the only one on sale in the country right now. I could replace all the damaged components for a grand or so, and because it's the entire right side there would only need to be paint blending into the rear quarter and the hood. A full cooling system refresh would solve...

They have been trying to unload this car for 6 months and haven't been able to. Actually went in and looked at it in person, the guy selling it is pretty much willing to take ANYTHING to keep from having to unload it at auction, made me a serious offer at 5 grand....
Researched this car for about a month, just test drove 2 versions of it, DSG and 6S.
I'm in love.
>Why does /o/ hate it
If it comes with a warranty it's fine. Those cars are just known to be pretty unreliable.
Also a lot of hate comes from the long gearing.
Besides that it's a good car for fun daily driving.
Need help /o/
I've got 225/45zr17 94w xl tires, and i need to know, if i replace one of them (it's completely bald and I can only afford to replace one right now), does it have to be ZR, or can it be R and there will be no problem?
Thank you for your help
Its not what I'd call dangerous.
Those letters are speed ratings, saying the maximum speed a tyre is designed to run at without shredding itself or having a blowout
What will happen is uneven wear compared to the others, slight pulling to one side during heavier braking if the traction of the tires differ greatly and maybe some slight vibration
R is completely different to ZR. R is a rating of merely 106 mph, Z(R) is a rating in excess of 149 mph. This is not only dangerous, but in some countries can be flat out illegal to mount summer tires that are rated for less than what your car's top speed is.

whats /o/ opinion on shopping at carmax?
Ive read the reviews and shit but I just want more opinion
I am an autist and have no talent in haggling or even experience.
looking to buy a used car for less than $18k, sedan or coupe whichever.
The short list:
-most of what they sell is overpriced
-most of their inventory is rental fleet/prior lease cast offs
-you don't have to haggle
-they offer extended warranties (for a price) on everything if your paranoid about shit breaking
-they can get people with shit credit financed
Got a new DD and my 02 Catfish SS 6-speed is getting retired to track. Already has Kooks longtube headers, free mods, LS6 intake came stock 01-02.... Cam, springs, pushrods kit will get me to 450HP, but I really want 500HP NA. Will ported heads get me there?
If I was gonna do forced induction I would do it on a junkyard 5.3, so no supercharger or turbo suggestions please.
Let's brighten up /o/ and post the bestest Camaros
