Why have camera producers stopped creating colour cameras?
Remember the end of the film era - Champagne finish Canon, pentax, Nikon, mf Fuji or grey Minolta. Yes, the quality was low, but back then most of the cams were plastic. Nowadays we have all those alloy bodies which in theory could be easily painted in any colour you like. Yes, pentax does it now, but you probably would get tired of their Lego colors too fast.
Why can't we get a higher class dslr in color? Or even mirrorless if we think of sony. I'm talking of something of at least 6d/5d level.
Looking for a photographer for a wedding in Las Vegas. Post some of your favourite pieces I want to hire someone that knows what they are doing. I am a photographer myself but I can not take pictures of my own wedding and all the photographers in Las Vegas I have found on Google are over priced (8k for 3 hours) or just poop. Impress me /p/
50mm is only good for 35mm, you'll need an 80mm for medium format. stick with nikon or schneider lenses unless you're broke or can afford leica, even second hand lenses are great.
grain focusers are mostly useful if you're making large prints, for smaller (<8x10), focusing without one will still yield sharp enough prints. it's a very basic mechanism so no need to get an expensive model.
>>2750724 I've looked at lots of different forums and a lot of people argue about whether an 80mm lens can cover 6x7, some people say a 90mm or 105. I'm going to be printing mostly 5x7, and maybe print 8x10 or 11x14 when I want something nice. The Fujinon 80mm EX, which is a 6 element, is going for like 80, while the el nikkor version is about 100. Haven't looked for longer lenses yet.
Fujifilm Announces Worldwide Increase of Film Prices >http://bokeh.digitalrev.com/article/fujifilm-announce-worldwide-increase-of-film-prices >"The price increases are substantial and it would be an increase of at least double digit, but will vary depending on products, markets and regions."

Is Fuji just being a cash cow? Their x-series of cameras have been selling well why they do this on their film?
Bottom... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>2750655 >why they do this on their film? As less and less people buy it, but the price of producing it stays the same, prices have to go up to keep the production afloat. It doesn't make sense to take their digital money and drop it into their film, when that money would be better spent on R&D to continue to improve and try to take more of the market share.
But what else will beginners call photos which show the people's backs as they walk down the street, or photos of people on escalators? Oh, and don't forget about people walking in front of billboards.
Hey all, I was hoping to get some advice on a good entry level dslr. Nothing too fancy, I don't have much money, but I'm hoping to get something for a good price on eBay to make money on gigs. Any advice helps. Please give your experience.
