Wondered if you people would enjoy it. Feel welcome to leave suggestions as to further models I could create, if the suggestions are interesting I'd be happy to complete, and maybe a request thread would emerge.

Hey guys, first time posting, does anyone else like building models of spaceships? I'm a pretty big fan of Star Wars and Star Trek so I built tons of the pic above. To make them I usually start with a body and build on from there by either folding the pieces to the ship or simply glueing it on.
Hey guys, I have a modeler working on a 3D model that I'm planning to turn into a papercraft. He says he's familiar with it but just to be safe I thought I'd look into the specifications of designing a 3D model for papercraft. Unfortunately I can't find much. Are there any tips or pointers anyone can give me to pass along? That way the model won't have to be edited as much for the actual process of turning it into a model! Pic not related.
Hey /po do you have this template to make this teapot gift box? I need it for a tea party i am going to give, It is made by esselle. Please if you have it share it kindly or if you have something similar please post it
>>545881 An origami crease pattern which was invented to store solar sails in a small space yet be able to unfold them completely by just pulling at two corners (which greatly reduces the complexity of the mechanisms necessary for unfolding).
>>545913 Thanks man, didn't know what to google for at all. By the way, this shit is called Bordürenstanzern in my language. Fucking ridiculous, took me some more googling to find that shitty word. Now off to wasting some money.
I'm looking for a really specific type of paper that I've been having a hard time finding online. I need double color paper(red and green) but with the thickness of a business card. Every website I look at doesn't specify thickness, and cardstock is way to thick. Can you guys please help me? I know basically nothing about paper and would appreciate some tips on how to improve my search.
>>542407 Buy it, but buy in bulk. Kami Isn't very good paper, so if someone is charging $10 for like 25 pieces, you're getting shafted. You can get 500 pieces for like $25-30 (or at east the last time I bought it).
but here's a guideline to paper:
loose leaf/printer < kami < tissue foil < anything else < origamido I've been sticking with tissue foil for a while since I'm poor and it DIY, but origamido is the top shelf product and you'll be paying out the ass for it

There are so,e pretty awesome ones out there, I've got 5 just in aircraft and a few others.
Only problem is that you need to go super slow and super carefully or else the entire thing is ruined with one bent piece.
Don't bother with buying the special kit, you don't need the clippers, they just ruin the pieces, it's easier to just tease the pieces off the sheer. I've found that forceps and tweezers are the best tools to use, I also wear gloves to avoid getting them full of fingerprints.
Looking for a birthday present for a friend who's super into papercraft and Call of Duty. Unfortunately, there isn't much out there. I was following the COD news and noticed this mech looks relatively simple. Would anyone be able to design a papercraft of it?
OP, that was the coolest thing I've seen all day and I started out the day on /b/, saw the new DBZ abridged, went and got some delicious paperwork. Total newfag to /po/. Literal virgin status on this board and the first time I'm here I see this. Totally brightened my day You sir, are not a faggit.
I've seen all these wonderful papercraft done with entirely flat faces, but I was wondering if anybody else had done anything with curved faces. A while ago I dabbled a bit in it making segmented paper arthopods. Picture is the closest thing i could find.
