Does anyone know of a good free paper craft template that can be suspended from the ceiling. (Aka it won't look like shit suspended from the ceiling.) I was thinking of doing something like a flying bird or any other animal mid-pounce / jump but I can't find any good ones nor know of such exist.
How hard would it be to make a good one by myself?
I've made papercraft airplanes and modular origami to hang. Lamps look nice, or spherical objects like bubbles. It might be cool to make a big jellyfish or squid, and hang the flimsy tentacles out along the length of the room. An airship would be relatively easy to design, and quite cool. Perhaps make frame of wooden sticks or 1/4" steel rod.
>>538797 Thank you, But unfortunately i must change music at last 30 sec, copyright :( It's not a big problem because they don't want to remove it, but people can't watch this from smartfon etc, only from computers(windows, mac). So I must change it, and I will post this in FullHD. Greetings
I am looking for paper-craft terrain for a Bolt Action campaing, which is very important to me. Could you help out by sharing any 28mm terrain which you think might be useful for me? We will do d-day (France) and Central Europe scenarios.
I would love to get pic related, but we spend the club budget already and no one wants to pony up. So i am looking for alternatives (or a madmen who can share it).
To avoid /tg/ constanctly asking this i will make a nice mega folder and see that it gets a place in one of the OP-templates e.g. /hwg/.
The girl I have feelings for is having her birthday on Monday. She likes paper art and flowers so I was thinking of making her origami Plumerias including stems. Anyone have any good tutorials for beginners or something of the sort? Much appreciated.
po/ I'm looking for realistic bird templates for a project, pic realated im trying to keep costs down so i am unwilling to pay for templates if possible, if anyone has anything along these lines, would much appreciate
Nevermind, just did some quick dicking around and the changes are obvious, this is superior. Moving pieces is no longer snap to grid, you can rotate while using the move tool, making the regular rotate tool completely redundant. The 3D view is better, high lighting the selected piece with pale red instead of a red outline. Impressed with it so far, but only just got into it.
Hello guys! I'm the co-manager for /po/ in 4 chanc up.

So the Spring Babby Cup is coming on April and I want to ask the board if we would want to make changes to the current roster as it has been a few months since the last roster change. Things probably have changed since then despite the whole slow board thing. So I will list our current roster.

>>537323 *slow claps* *steps out of the shadows* Heh... not bad, kid. Not bad at all. Your meme, I mean. It's not bad. A good first attempt. It's plenty dank... I can tell it's got some thought behind it... lots of quotable material... But memeing isn't all sunshine and rainbows, kid. You're skilled... that much I can tell. But do you have what it takes to be a Memester? To join those esteemed meme ranks? To call yourself a member of the Ruseman's Corps? Memeing takes talent, that much is true. But more than that it takes heart. The world-class Memesters - I mean the big guys, like Johnny Hammersticks and Billy Kuahana - they're out there day and night, burning the midnight meme-oil, working tirelessly to craft that next big meme. And you know what, kid? 99 times out of a hundred, that new meme fails. Someone dismisses it as bait, or says it's "tryhard," or ignores it as they copy/paste the latest shitpost copypasta dreamt up by those sorry excuses for cut-rate memers over at reddit. The Meme Game is rough, kid, and I don't just mean the one you just lost :^). It's a rough business, and for every artisan meme you craft in your meme bakery, some cocksucker at 9gag has a picture of a duck or some shit that a million different Johnny No-Names will attach a milion different captions to. Chin up, kid. Don't get all mopey on me. You've got skill. You've got talent. You just need to show your drive. See you on the boards...
>>537331 This is me. Literally me. No other character can come close to relating to me like this. There is no way you can convince me this is not me. This character could not possibly be anymore me. It's me, and nobody can convince me otherwise. If anyone approached me on the topic of this not possibly being me, then I immediately shut them down with overwhelming evidence that this character is me. This character is me, it is indisputable. Why anyone would try to argue that this character is not me is beyond me. If you held two pictures of me and this character side by side, you'd see no difference. I can safely look at this character every day and say "Yup, that's me". I can practically see this character every time I look at myself in the mirror. I go outside and people stop me to comment how similar I look and act to this character. I chuckle softly as I'm assured everyday this character is me in every way. I can smile each time I get out of bed every morning knowing that I've found my identity with this character and I know my place in this world. It's really quite funny how similar this character is to me, it's almost like we're identical twins. When I first saw this character, I had an existential crisis. What if this character was the real me and I was the fictional being. What if this character actual became aware of my existence? Did this character have the ability to become self aware itself?
That rifle is also called the Hecate II or FRS 12.7 in real life. There are some 3D files that could possibly be made into papercrafts. That gun was also in Sword Art Online so there are a bunch of cosplayers and other fans making 3D models.
Hey there /po/, My ancient piece of shit $20 HP printer has finally kicked the bucket. However, in a way, I suppose it's kind of fortuitous, because now I can get a printer that isn't a piece of shit and finally get into papercraft proper. I don't really know where to start looking, though, apart from the fact that a lot of people seem to prefer inkjets and printers that can accept heavier types of paper. I guess image quality is an important factor too. With that said, what do you guys use for your projects? Thanks in advance
If you dismantle old printer you can get useful papercrafting tools. Rubber rollers and steel shafts mainly, but gears and springs too. If scanner, glass plate is good for lightbox. Recycle plastic and unwanted metal for maximum hippie.
Cheapest printer with the cheapest ink refills that advertises itself as being able to print photos. That usually means you can force some pretty thick 200-300gsm paper through it. (basically all inkjets now in days anyway) Check data sheet if you're not sure.
If you care for double sided papercraft, can't help you there. Pretty much all affordable consumer printers have alignment issues
